Itinerary
De Canadese Rocky Mountains zijn in elk jaargetijde prachtig, maar er is iets magisch aan een bezoek in de winter als de bergen bedekt zijn met een deken van glinsterende sneeuw. De hele streek wordt een waar winterwonderland, omringd door met sneeuw bedekte bergen, bevroren meren en dicht besneeuwde landschappen. Het is de perfecte omgeving voor een waaier aan winterse activiteiten.
Deze bijzondere 5-daagse tour omvat 2 overnachtingen in het hart van de Canadese Rockies, het stadje Banff. Je geniet van vele spectaculaire bezienswaardigheden tijdens de reis naar de Rocky Mountains en hebt ruimschoots vrije tijd om een opwindende winteractiviteit uit te proberen, zoals skiën/boarden bij Lake Louise Mountain Resort, ijswandelen, of je kunt uitslapen na een grote avond uit in de stad en genieten van de winkels en bezienswaardigheden van Banff. - Have breakfast in your hotel
- Depart the hotel in the morning
- Drive through the beautiful snow-capped peaks of Mount Revelstoke National Park & Glacier National Park
- Explore Lake Louise with the option to go ice skating (seasonal)
- Continue your drive to Banff
- Check into your hotel in Banff
- Free time to go shopping on Banff Avenue and try one of the many restaurants
Day 3
Banff
- After breakfast, enjoy a driving tour of Banff townsite including Bow Falls, HooDoos, Banff Springs Hotel, and more
- Option to take a scenic sleigh ride through a winter wonderland (included in the 2025 Christmas tour, additional cost in the regular winter tours)
- Option to take the Banff Gondola (additional cost)
- Option to participate in an exciting winter activity like snowshoeing, ice walking, or skiing/snowboarding at Lake Louise Ski Resort (additional cost)
- If you are not participating in an activity, enjoy a free day in Banff
Day 4
Banff naar Salmon Arm
- Breakfast in your hotel
- Enjoy a scenic drive along Bow Valley Parkway where you may spot wildlife
- Visit Emerald Lake
- Visit Roger’s Pass National Historic Site
- Stop at Craigellachie (the last spike of the Canadian Pacific Railway)
- Check into your boutique hotel located on Shuswap Lake
- Free time to go for a walk on the lakeside boardwalk
- There are many options for dinner this evening including a popular restaurant located in your hotel
Day 5
Zalm Arm naar Vancouver
