Nous commencerons notre forfait de 2 jours en venant vous chercher à l'aéroport du Caire (veuillez fournir les détails de votre vol : numéro de vol, compagnie aérienne et heure d'arrivée). Notre chauffeur anglophone vous attendra à l'extérieur du hall d'arrivée de l'aéroport du Caire, avec une pancarte à votre nom, pour vous transférer à votre hôtel au Caire ou à Gizeh.

Ce matin, votre guide privé viendra vous chercher à votre hôtel au Caire ou à Gizeh pour commencer votre journée en visitant le plateau de Gizeh pour explorer les célèbres pyramides de Chéops, Chéphren, Mycrenos et Sphinx ; ces structures qui se dressent depuis 4500 ans. Découvrez la beauté du Sphinx, l'une des plus grandes statues monolithes de l'histoire de l'humanité, profitez de la vue et prenez des photos remarquables. Vous trouverez votre guide égyptologue local riche en connaissances et plein d'enthousiasme sur l'histoire de l'Égypte et de son pays en général. En fin de journée, retournez à votre hôtel au Caire ou à Gizeh.

Rendez-vous à Saqqara, situé à seulement 27 km au sud-ouest du Caire. Visitez la pyramide à degrés (construite pour le roi Zoser), la plus ancienne structure en pierre du monde, à Saqqara. Elle est considérée comme un élément important de l'évolution des pyramides, qui sont passées du simple mastaba à sa forme la plus connue. Cette pyramide a été construite sous le règne de la troisième dynastie de l'Égypte ancienne, il y a 4 800 ans. Visitez également les tombes des nobles à Saqqara et apprenez-en plus sur la vie quotidienne des nobles de l'Égypte ancienne.

Vous continuerez à explorer puis serez transféré vers le sud pour visiter la pyramide rouge et la pyramide coudée de Dahchour. Il s'agit d'une célèbre nécropole royale égyptienne située dans le désert sur la rive ouest du Nil, à environ 40 kilomètres au sud du Caire. Elle est surtout connue pour ses nombreuses pyramides célèbres, dont deux sont parmi les plus anciennes, les plus grandes et les mieux conservées d'Égypte, construites entre 2613 et 2589 avant J.-C. : la pyramide rouge et la pyramide coudée du roi Snéfrou.

A la fin de la visite, vous serez transféré à votre hôtel au Caire ou à Gizeh.

Our expert tour guide will pick you up at 7:00 am from your hotel in either Cairo or Giza to Alexandria which is 220 km away from Cairo. Arrive Alexandria around 10 am and start your day tour by visiting the Roman Theater (A theater with marble seats up to 800 spectators, galleries, section of mosaic flooring and a pleasure garden surrounded by Roman Villas and baths).

Then, you will visit The Catacomb of Kom El-Shoqafa, one of the world’s largest Roman burial sites, the Catacombs are one of Alexandria’s most popular attractions. Watch your head as you descend into a network of underground passages, tombs, and antechambers via a spiral staircase over a three-level tombstone as well as a large Roman-style banquet room, where relatives of the deceased traditionally hosted memorial meals. Inside are 2nd Century statues of Sobek and Anubis wearing Roman Armor.

Our Alexandria day tour continues with a visit to the Alexandria Library. Nerd time! Inspired by the original great library of Alexandria, the modern library was built to hold over eight million books, between 1995 and 2002. It covers 11 cascading levels and although it has not yet reached its capacity, it’s an impressive homage to the ancient splendor of Alexandria. Pick your jaws up off the ground and explore!

Enjoy photo stops at Qaitbay Citadel, a defensive 15-century fortress built on the ruins of the light house of Alexandria; one of the ancient world’s seven wonders. Finish your tour at Al Mursi Abu Alabbas mosque (from outside), an elaborate structure built to honor a Sufi Saint, and have a free walk on the Cornish. At the end of the tour, you will be transferred back to Cairo. You will be back at Cairo around 19:00 pm

Finally, you will be transferred to Cairo Airport.
