Comenzaremos nuestro paquete de 2 días recogiéndote en el aeropuerto de El Cairo (por favor, facilítanos los datos de tu vuelo: número de vuelo, compañía aérea y hora de llegada). Nuestro chófer de habla hispana te estará esperando fuera de la sala de llegadas del aeropuerto de El Cairo, con un cartel con tu nombre para trasladarte a tu hotel en El Cairo o Giza.

Esta mañana, tu guía privado te recogerá en tu hotel de El Cairo o Giza para empezar el día visitando la meseta de Giza y explorar las mundialmente famosas pirámides de Keops, Kefrén, Micrenos y la Esfinge, estructuras que se han mantenido en pie durante 4500 años. Descubre la belleza de la Esfinge, una de las mayores estatuas monolíticas de la historia de la humanidad, disfruta de las vistas y haz fotos extraordinarias. Encontrarás que tu guía local de Egiptología es un gran conocedor y está lleno de entusiasmo sobre la historia egipcia, y de su país en general. Al final del día, regresa a tu hotel en El Cairo o Giza.

Dirígete a Saqqara, situada a sólo 27 km al suroeste de El Cairo. Visita la Pirámide Escalonada (construida para el rey Zoser), la mayor estructura de piedra más antigua del mundo, en Saqqara, se considera una parte importante de la evolución de las pirámides, que pasaron de la simple mastaba a su forma ampliamente conocida. Esta pirámide se construyó durante el reinado de la Tercera Dinastía del Antiguo Egipto, hace 4.800 años. Visita también las Tumbas de los Nobles en Saqqara y aprende más sobre la vida cotidiana de los antiguos nobles egipcios.

Seguirás explorando y luego te trasladarás al sur para visitar la Pirámide Roja y la Pirámide Doblada en Dahshur. Se trata de una famosa necrópolis real egipcia situada en el desierto, en la orilla occidental del Nilo, a unos 40 kilómetros (25 mi) al sur de El Cairo. Es conocida principalmente por sus numerosas y famosas pirámides, dos de las cuales se encuentran entre las más antiguas, grandes y mejor conservadas de Egipto, construidas entre 2613 y 2589 a.C.: las pirámides Roja y Doblada del rey Snefru.

Al final, te trasladaremos de vuelta a tu hotel en El Cairo o Giza.

Our expert tour guide will pick you up at 7:00 am from your hotel in either Cairo or Giza to Alexandria which is 220 km away from Cairo. Arrive Alexandria around 10 am and start your day tour by visiting the Roman Theater (A theater with marble seats up to 800 spectators, galleries, section of mosaic flooring and a pleasure garden surrounded by Roman Villas and baths).

Then, you will visit The Catacomb of Kom El-Shoqafa, one of the world’s largest Roman burial sites, the Catacombs are one of Alexandria’s most popular attractions. Watch your head as you descend into a network of underground passages, tombs, and antechambers via a spiral staircase over a three-level tombstone as well as a large Roman-style banquet room, where relatives of the deceased traditionally hosted memorial meals. Inside are 2nd Century statues of Sobek and Anubis wearing Roman Armor.

Our Alexandria day tour continues with a visit to the Alexandria Library. Nerd time! Inspired by the original great library of Alexandria, the modern library was built to hold over eight million books, between 1995 and 2002. It covers 11 cascading levels and although it has not yet reached its capacity, it’s an impressive homage to the ancient splendor of Alexandria. Pick your jaws up off the ground and explore!

Enjoy photo stops at Qaitbay Citadel, a defensive 15-century fortress built on the ruins of the light house of Alexandria; one of the ancient world’s seven wonders. Finish your tour at Al Mursi Abu Alabbas mosque (from outside), an elaborate structure built to honor a Sufi Saint, and have a free walk on the Cornish. At the end of the tour, you will be transferred back to Cairo. You will be back at Cairo around 19:00 pm

Finally, you will be transferred to Cairo Airport.
