Itinerario

La Visita a la Ciudad de Katmandú es una breve y dulce excursión por el Valle de Katmandú. El valle de Katmandú consta de siete monumentos Patrimonio de la Humanidad, entre los que en esta excursión visitarás los tres más importantes: la Plaza Durbar de Katmandú, la Plaza Durbar de Patan y la Plaza Durbar de Bhaktapur. Antaño sede de los reinos newar, hoy estos patios reales convertidos en ciudades urbanas siguen siendo grandes atracciones para los turistas. Las tres ciudades de Katmandú, Patan y Bhaktapur están interconectadas y estrechamente vinculadas entre sí tanto cultural como geográficamente. Visita turística del valle de Katmandú


Swayambhunath:

Se cree que la estupa original existía hace 2000 años, pero se dice que la estupa actual se construyó después del siglo XIV. Swayambhunath significa "El santuario que existe por sí mismo"; los occidentales suelen llamarlo "El Templo de los Monos", ya que hay muchos monos correteando por el lugar que se divierten clavando las ruedas de oración y los monos que juegan alrededor de la estupa hacen que el lugar sea realmente interesante y esté lleno de vida.

La vista panorámica del valle de Katmandú desde la estupa es sencillamente impresionante. La leyenda dice que una vez el valle de Katmandú fue un enorme lago y que había una flor de loto con un resplandor blanco en medio del lago. En la versión budista, Majushree, una Bodhisattwa, vino de China y vació el agua y la flor de loto vino a reposar y se quedó donde ahora existe la estupa. En la versión hindú, el lago fue drenado por el Señor Krishna.

En el lado oriental de la estupa hay una larga escalera que sube por la colina. En ella hay un hermoso templo de estilo pagoda dedicado a la Diosa Madre Harati. Alrededor de todo el complejo hay santuarios y estatuas de deidades budistas e hindúes, una al lado de la otra, que ilustran la armonía religiosa que existe entre ellas. Swayambhunath merece realmente ser declarado Patrimonio de la Humanidad y es uno de los mejores lugares para visitar en tu excursión de un día a Katmandú.



Plaza Patan Durbar:

La plaza de Patan Durbar, como su homóloga de Katmandú, es una encantadora mezcla de edificios palaciegos, patios artísticos y elegantes templos pagoda. Catalogado como Patrimonio de la Humanidad, el antiguo complejo del palacio real es el centro de la vida religiosa y social de Patán, y alberga un museo con una gran variedad de estatuas de bronce y objetos religiosos. Un monumento notable aquí es un templo del siglo XVII dedicado al dios hindú Krishna, construido enteramente en piedra.



Pashupatinath:

Su nombre significa "El Señor de todas las Criaturas y el Dios de los Dioses". Es Patrimonio de la Humanidad y está situado al este de Katmandú, a orillas del sagrado río Bagmati. El emplazamiento del templo data de los siglos V/VI, pero el templo actual se construyó en el siglo XVI. Es uno de los santuarios de Shiva más populares e importantes y todos los seguidores del hinduismo deben visitarlo al menos una vez en la vida.

Durante el festival Maha Shivaratri, el templo se llena de devotos que adoran al Linga de piedra con la forma de Shiva. A los no hindúes no se les permite entrar en el complejo principal del templo, pero aun así pueden contemplar el templo de estilo pagoda de dos niveles desde el lado oriental del río y ver las piras funerarias en las orillas. Boudhanath:

Boudhanath significa "El Señor de la Sabiduría" y es la estupa más grande del subcontinente asiático. Se cree que todos los seguidores del budismo deben visitarla una vez en la vida. Se cree que la estupa se construyó en el siglo V porque había habido doce años de sequía, así que el rey construyó la estupa con la esperanza de que esto ayudara a restablecer el agua y lo hizo con la ayuda de las gotas de rocío; por esta razón, también se la llama la Estupa del Rocío.


Nepal solía ser el punto de tránsito entre Tíbet y la India: había comercio con Tíbet desde la antigüedad. Los comerciantes que viajaban a Tíbet solían detenerse para saludar a la estupa y pedir la bendición de un viaje y un regreso seguros. Payment of the Balance

Rest amount can be paid before a month of your arrival. If you choose to settle your holiday balance by credit card a handling charge of  4% on the outstanding balance is made. There is no handling charge for payment by bank transfer.

 

Last Minute Booking

We accept your last minute booking  for ONLY IN CASES OF NEPAL TRIPS, but LAST MINUTE BOOKING WILL NOT BE ACCEPTABLE FOR BHUTAN AND TIBET TRIPS).

 

Refund Policy

No refund will be made for 30% deposit amount in case of cancellation of trip for any other else reason but we are flexible to postpone your trip in any later days. Having paid full amount of any trip, you will get your money back but still cancellation charge (20%) is invoiced to you. Written notification of your cancellation should be made to cancel any trip.

 

Supplement Charge

On our holidays tour / trek packages, rooms or tents are provided in twin sharing basis. Thus, single room supplement charge will be imposed to client who does not have another tour participant to share room /tent with.

 

Incomplete Tour

No refund will be made to clients who drop out from the journey regardless of whatever portions remain unused in the itinerary.

 

Unforeseen Circumstances

If Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure Private Limited cancels your trip because of unforeseen circumstances like war, natural disasters, conflict, unfavorable climate etc., we will be happy to refer you alternative trip of a similar standard. Even if this doesn’t fit your personal interest, all money paid by you to our company will be refunded. But remember, any other expenses incurred by you as a result of this booking are entirely your responsibility.

 

Clients’ Responsible

A tour / trek guide who represents Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure Private Limited deserves all authority during your tours/Treks.

 

Travel Insurance

You must purchase comprehensive travel insurance package against medical, natural calamity, helicopter evacuation, personal accident, trip cancellation etc. This is strongly suggested to all our  clients.

 

Tour Amendment

To make alterations of any trek / tour itinerary, prior notice is requested. You’re advised to stay in touch with us. But occasionally, you may be obliged to do so en route under certain circumstance for instance bad weather etc.

 

Papers & Documents

All necessary documents should be presented in sequence for example to issue visa, necessary permits etc. We’re not accountable in case of any trip formality not completed in time before the trip departs on the absent of essential papers and documents.

 

Flight Delay/Cancellation

There is virtually possibility of flight delay or postponement for notorious weather in Himalayan regions which could be happened, in particular, in Everest region (Lukla), Jomsom, Dolpa, Simikot and Jumla region etc. In such case your itinerary will be modified.

HSA mission is to finance its community enhancement programs through the revenues generated by tourism. The proceeds from any HSJ organized tour and trek goes 10% directly to uplift educational status of needy children of rural areas of Nepal through Himalayan Community Project.

Our Liability

Our obligations and those of our suppliers providing any service or facility involved in any part of your travel are to take reasonable skill and care to arrange for the provision of such services and facilities and, where we or our supplier is actually providing the service or facility, to provide them with reasonable skill and care. Compliance with any applicable regulatory requirements (such as, for example, those of the Civil Aviation Authority) will be proper performance of our, and our suppliers’, obligations. You must show that reasonable skill and care has not been used, if you wish to make any claim against us.

 

Termination of your booking

We reserve the right in our absolute discretion to terminate your travel without notice ,If your behavior be such that it is likely in our opinion, to cause distress, damage, annoyance or danger to any other person. In such circumstances, no refund or compensation will be due to you.

 

Unused Services

No refund will be due to you in respect to the non-utilization of any part of the travel arrangements made for you, by Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure Private Ltd.

 

Travel Insurance

It is a condition of the agreement between us that you take out adequate vacation and travel insurance against cancelation charges, unexpected curtailment of your vacation, medical expenses arising overseas including repatriation, loss or damage to luggage and personal liability claims against you.Fail to secure such travel insurance coverage prior to your Nepal Travel, then you accept full responsibility for yourself and all of the members of your party, and indemnify Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure Private Ltd and our overseas travel agents and representatives (as applicable) for any and all costs that may arise, which would otherwise have been met, had such travel insurance been in force.

 

Complaints

We do our best to ensure that your travel arrangements go according to plan. However, if you have a complaint arising out of what we have agreed to provide for you, please let us know at the earliest possible opportunity. If your complaint cannot be resolved locally, you should advise us within 30 days of the incident, in writing, by giving your  detailed description of your complaint and other relevant information.

Please Note : If you do not follow our complaint procedure, we cannot accept responsibility for your complaint, as we would have been deprived of the opportunity to investigate the matter on your behalf, and where possible, help you to resolve the problem.

 

Applicable Law

Any contract or dispute between us  are to be governed by and construed in accordance with Nepal law. Both parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Kathmandu City, Nepal.

 

Effective Date

The effective date of this policy From  January 1. 2018  and it replaces all prior privacy policies issued by Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure Private Ltd . We reserve the right to change our policy at any time.
