Tour program

Day 1

Zagreb - Plitvice Lakes National Park

Your 10-day island hopping and car rental tour of Croatia begins at Zagreb Airport, where you pick up your rental car. You will spend the first two nights near the famous Plitvice Lakes National Park. But before you get there, you will have enough time in the afternoon to visit the capital of Croatia, Zagreb. The old town district of Kaptol in the upper town is a must-see, while the famous Ban Jelaćič Square in the lower town is a great place to enjoy a coffee and watch the hustle and bustle. You arrive at your accommodation in the evening. Get up early the next day, it's worth it! Lace up your hiking boots and off you go to the oldest national park in Croatia. Sixteen turquoise-blue lakes and breathtaking waterfalls are connected by a kilometer-long network of wooden paths. You are spoiled for choice when it comes to the route, choose a hiking route that suits your taste and explore the park in all its splendor. Overnight stay at Plitvice Lakes National Park.

After a hearty breakfast, it's time to head to the coast. You will spend two nights in the diverse region of northern Dalmatia. Explore beautiful coastal towns such as Šibenik and Zadar, drift through the maze of old stone streets and historical monuments. You can also linger on one of the region's many beaches and enjoy the sweet idleness. Those who prefer to be out and about can spend the afternoon at Lake Vransko jezero. Explore the nature park on foot, by bike or by kayak. The Krka National Park in the hinterland with its seven cascading waterfalls, the most famous of which is Skradinski Buk, is also a must-see. Longing for the sea? Then let's head back to the coast where another natural spectacle awaits you: numerous islands, islets and reefs form the Kornati National Park, which can be explored by boat. Overnight stay in the North Dalmatia region.

Breakfast at the hotel and check-out. Drive to the beautiful Makarska Riviera. It is worth driving along the coast and making a stop en route in the UNESCO World Heritage town of Trogir. Trogir is hidden behind medieval walls, which enclose winding alleyways, old stone houses, churches and monuments. The Makarska Riviera attracts visitors with its beautiful pebble beaches, crystal-clear sea, rich cultural heritage and views of the imposing Biokovo mountain range. Take a day off from the beach and visit the Skywalk Biokovo viewpoint. Walk across the glass platform that juts out of the rock and makes you feel as if you are walking above the clouds. A spectacular view of the Adriatic coast, nearby islands and the surrounding mountains awaits you. Overnight stay in hotel, Makarska Riviera according to option.

Your mini-cruise awaits you with excitement. You drop off your rental car in Dubrovnik. You have time to explore Dubrovnik on your own until check-in on the ship at 18:00. The city is rich in palaces, churches, enchanting squares and winding alleyways that invite you to explore. A must is the walk along the city walls or the Srd hill above Dubrovnik, with an amazing view of the city. Overnight stay in Dubrovnik harbor.

During breakfast, drive to the island of Mljet. Part of the green island belongs to the national park, which you will discover with a guide. Discover Malo and Veliko Jezero (small and large lake), the Benedictine monastery and secluded paths through forests with 5 different types of trees and numerous birds. In the afternoon you will have enough time to discover the island on your own. In the evening, the Captain's Dinner takes place on the ship. Overnight stay in the port of Pomena.

The most famous Dalmatian island is on the agenda for today. On the way, we stop for a swim in the crystal-clear sea. The small harbor town of Hvar is known for its lavender fields, the oldest theater in Europe and the luxurious marina. Join a guided tour of the town and learn more about its culture and history. In the evening, you will have plenty of time to explore the numerous restaurants, stores and bars. Overnight stay in the port of Hvar.

Today we head for our final destination - the lively city of Split. Stroll along the Riva sea promenade, discover the monuments and historical treasures of Diocletian's Palace, store for souvenirs at the market, enjoy Mediterranean cuisine in one of the many restaurants and round off the evening in an original bar. Overnight stay in the port of Split.

Today it's time to say goodbye to Croatia. After breakfast on the ship, a shared transfer will take you to Split Airport.
