Ankunft Kathmandu (ca. 1.400m)

On this day, you will mark your arrival in the Himalayan country of Nepal at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), Kathmandu. At the terminal gate, you will be greeted by personnel from Adventure Himalayan Travels and Treks, who will also transport you to your hotel.


After resting for a while in the hotel, you will get to meet your team members, leaders, and yoga instructors, who will briefly explain your itinerary to end with a complimentary dinner hosted by the company itself.

The second day in the Kathmandu Valley is dedicated to full acclimatization to the Himalayan air of Nepal; therefore, on this day you will head to visit some of the iconic UNESCO World Heritage Sites such as Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhnath, and Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple) in the morning.


While it would be interesting to explore and discover the mystery of interconnected alleyways of ancient palaces of Durbar Squares of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, and Lalitpur, to end the day with a one-hour yoga session before dinner

Early in the morning, you will begin the day with a yoga session for an hour. Then, you will board a tourist bus to Pokhara along the Prithvi Highway that reaches the destination of the day in about 7-9 hours, depending on traffic.


The road is scenically beautiful as you pass by lovely villages, rice fields, and lush hills, calling it a day at the lakeside with amusing sights of Mt. Macchapuchare, Dhaulagiri, and Annapurna to complete a yoga session in the evening before dinnertime

You will follow the early morning yoga routine, catch a morning breakfast, and begin driving towards Nayapul from Pokhara. Nayapul is the trek starting point to the Annapurna Base Camp; hence, you will walk from here that goes through Birethanti, dense forests of rhododendrons, and traditional villages and eventually stop at Tikhedhunga for the night in about 2 hours from Nayapul.


The route lies within the Annapurna Conservation Area, where the Tikhedhunga has stunning views of Burundi Khola to marvel at while you attend yoga sessions one more time in the evening.

The second trek day also starts with a refreshing yoga practice, and then you will follow the ascending path to Ulleri, one of the highly elevated typical mountain villages also serving as a striking viewpoint.


Leaving Ulleri behind is a dense forest of rhododendrons looked over by the snowcapped Himalayan ranges, especially that of the Annapurna massifs, gradually leading to Gurung and Magar villages in Ghorpani to immerse in yoga late in the evening

You will hike to yet another stunning viewpoint of the Annapurna Trekking region, Poon Hill, in proximity to Ghorepani, offering a bird's-eye view of the surrounding Himalayas, green valleys, and shimmering water bodies below covered in golden hue during sunrise to practice yoga in serenity.


After yoga, you will grab breakfast and descend to Tadapani approximately for hours through a spectacular forest of rhododendrons following the river horizon

The trek to the Annapurna Base Camp resumes like usual after the completion of yoga practice early in the morning to reach yet another traditional Gurung village of Chhomrong.


The hike is through lush forests, cascading waterfalls, and hills meandering along the beautiful landscapes with stunning views of snow-capped peaks and scenic villages. Stop by Chhomrong to call the day off and enjoy the yoga route for the evening

You will engage yourself in yoga before breakfast and continue walking to the Annapurna Base Camp after a hearty breakfast that takes you deeper into the center of the Annapurna region, traversing along the riverbank with glimpses of snowcapped peaks peeking through the thickest group of trees.


In between is a landslide-prone area to be extra cautious, and then is a stone-paved path until Dovan, where the two rivers join together, or you can move forward to Deurali for the overnight stay.

Today is one of the major highlights of the entire Himalayan pilgrimage as you get to reach the lap of the tenth tallest mountain in the globe, Mt. Annapurna, at its base camp that begins with yoga and mindfulness in Dovan or Deurali.


It is one of the most intense trekking days making way through Modi Khola River and Hinko Cave to reach the highest elevation of the yoga trip to the Annapurna Base Camp, i.e., the base camp itself at an altitude of 4,130 m blessed with otherworldly views of Mt. Gangapurna, Annapurna, Fishtail, Dhaulagiri, Tilicho, Pisang, Hiunchuli, and Pungda Danda, creating the best place to do yoga and meditation

You will complete the yoga routine in the morning, have breakfast, and begin the descending trek from the base camp. Though you will be walking for quite a longer hour, it is still pleasing as it is mostly downhill through the same route that you used to ascend that denotes your existence from both the Modi Khola River Valley and the Annapurna Sanctuary.


The path is shaded by green bamboo in stark contrast to the rugged and snow-covered mountains above to enjoy to the fullest while you finally stop by Bamboo Village for the night and practice yoga in the evening.

You will follow 1 hour of morning yoga as instructed by professionals and retrace the footprints the same way to Deurali, Dovan, and Sinuwa, walking past lengthy stone-laid stairs and rhododendron forests, Chhomrong Khola, and the village before finally letting yourself soak in the lukewarm water of the natural hot spring of Jhinu Danda.


The experience is rejuvenating after several days of trekking to reach the ABC amidst the tranquil green natural setting of the Himalayas and preparing for an evening yoga session.

Same as usual, you will start the day with an early morning yoga session, which will be the last one in the Annapurna Trekking Region as you trek to Birethanti to catch a vehicle back to Pokhara.


It can get overwhelming to leave green terraced hills crowned by snow-capped peaks, specifically Annapurna South, behind while Pokhara welcomes you with the grand sight of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and Macchapuchare to enjoy while strolling around the lakeside or involve yourself in rafting, canoeing, boating, and other adventure activities to perform a yoga session in the evening before dinner time

It will be memorable to perform the last yoga at Pokhara, have a delicious breakfast, and ride a tourist bus departing back to Kathmandu, covering around 200 km passing through the Marsyangdi and Trishuli Rivers.
