Breakfast at hotel with Georgian tea, fresh dairy products, and homemade jams. Sightseeing of Tbilisi, capital city since 5th century; explore the old town, cable-car journey up to 4th-century Narikala fortress, visit the museum of recipes and have a masterclass and wine tasting with Georgian snack. Participants will have an opportunity to take part in making “Khinkali” (Georgian traditional dumplings with meat), Eggplant balancing the mixture of walnut, garlic, and spices preparing delicious rolls and enjoy with a glass of wine. Evening stroll an open-air Ethnography museum. Welcome dinner with folk performance in Georgian restaurant “In the shadow of Metekhi” where you will try different variates of Georgian traditional dishes. Overnight in Tbilisi

After the breakfast depart to Mtskheta, the former capital, important political and cultural center from 3rd century BC recognized by UNESCO as the world heritage site. Visit 6th-century Jvari Monastery, Svetitskhoveli cathedral. Visit the local winery nearby Mtskheta; Enjoy wine tour at Iago’s winery with home-made Bio wine with Georgian snack and drive to visit Uplistsikhe rock-hewn city, dated from 1st millennium BC, identified as one of the oldest urban settlements in Georgia. Continue to the local winery “Wine Artisans” have lunch and winetasting. Wine artisans serve a variety of excellent natural wines made both in traditional Kvevri and stainless-steel vessels. You will have a chance to try natural, dry, amber, white, red and rose wines that are full of the tastes and aromas from nature.  Return to Tbilisi have dinner in the cozy restaurant Sirajkhana and try Georgian traditional dishes, during the dinner get acquaintance with the recipes of B. Jorjadze, the famous Georgian culinary - overnight in Tbilisi.

Departure from Tbilisi and start a wine tour to the Kakheti region, famous for vineyards and wine-producing villages. Telavi is historical and administrative center of Kakheti region; First stop will be in Vardisubani, in a very special place to observe the methods of “Qvevri” making, meeting with clay pot master.

Trip continues to the Alaverdi monastery. Visit Alaverdi Cathedral of XI Century and Continue the road to Zemo Alvani village to have a homemade lunch in local family “Lagazi winery” with homemade dishes and natural wines. Taste two types of wine Kakhuri Mtsvane and Rkatsiteli and have a masterclass of Churchkhela (Georgian traditional sweet). After the lunch drive to Tsinandali estate and the first winery founded by one of the famous poets and public figures Alexander Chavchavadze in XIX Century. Explore the site – garden, home museum, wine cellar, where the oldest bottle of wine dating back to 1814. Dinner at the restaurant Bravo and overnight in Telavi.

After Breakfast at the hotel, let us invite you to explore the Gremi complex, Excursion at 16th -17th centuries architectural complex of Gremi, related to great Silk Road. Trip continues to Nekresi monastery, the complex of ecclesiastical buildings, one of the most important cultural centers of Georgia. Beautifully set on the hilltop in the woods the monastery includes several structures built in different periods. Here you can enjoy light walk in nature and landscapes to Alazani valley.

After the visiting monastery, you will have lunch and a chance for Georgian bread making masterclass in friend’s wine cellar “Nelkarisi” nearby the complex. Enjoy the wine and Georgian cheese with Georgian bread made by yourself and have lunch. Continue the tour to Sighnaghi - an old trading town with 17th c. defensive wall around. Cobbled streets and terra cotta tile-roofed homes with colorful carved balconies and breathtaking views of the Alazani Valley give it a very charming character, visit Bodbe monastery and return to Tbilisi. On the way, you will enjoy the dinner with polyphonic singing show in the small and cozy winery “Vellino” with bio winemaking in traditional Georgian way. Overnight in Tbilisi.
