DAY 2 MANNHEIM

Full board on board. We wake up in Mannheim, the German city where in 1886 the first Carl Benz automobile began to circulate through its streets. The city has a wide range of monuments, culture, art and gastronomy. Among the many monuments are the second largest baroque palace in Europe and the beautiful Water Tower. Optional visit to Heidelberg. Free morning. Enjoy the unforgettable scenery of the Rhine from the Sol Bridge.

DAY 3 STRASBOURG

Full board on board. In the early morning, we will arrive in Strasbourg, the capital of the Alsace region. The historic center, Grande Île, was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1988 for being a clear example of a medieval city. The place where the canals are conglomerated is called the Petite France, a former district of fishermen and millers. In addition to the Petite France, the historic center is home to a large number of interesting monuments, including the cathedral that stands imperiously as a symbol of the city. Optional guided tour of the most emblematic sights of the city. Free time at leisure. Overnight on board.

DAY 4 BORMES / RÜDESHEIM

Full board on board. In the morning we arrive in Bormes. The Germanic peoples made Worms their capital. The city is also famous for its Romanesque architecture. The highlight of the visit is the 11th century St. Peter's Cathedral. With its four towers and twin domes, this spectacular old building ranks alongside the cathedrals of Speyer and Mainz as one of the finest achievements of the High Romanesque style. The nave is particularly impressive, rising some 27 meters, while its domes reach heights of 40 meters. Bormes is also a popular base for a tour of the Deutsche Weinstrasse, a 50-mile route through local wine towns. Optional visit. In the afternoon, we will drop anchor in Rüdesheim, one of the most visited towns in the country. Historical monuments such as the Klunkhardshof, the fortified Adler Tower, the thousand-year-old Brömser Castle or the ruins of Ehrenfels Castle invite you to spend some time here.  Overnight on board.

DAY 5

Full board on board. In the afternoon, we will stop in one of the most beautiful and oldest cities in Germany: Koblenz. The city is located in the world famous "German Bend". The spectacular landscape formed by four central massifs, vineyards and forests surround this town, whose existence of more than 2,000 years is reflected in the architectural heritage in the form of wonderful churches and palaces, old aristocratic manors and the magnificent manor houses of the gentry. Overnight on board.

DAY 6 COLOGNE

Full board on board. Cologne is home to countless cultural and historical treasures and a diverse art scene. Take a journey through 2,000 years of history and visit cultural monuments from the time of the Roman Empire to modern times. Our optional guided tour will take you to Cologne's Old Town and its famous Gothic cathedral, symbol of the city for centuries. Free time at leisure. Captain's dinner. Overnight on board.

DAY 7 AMSTERDAM 

Full board on board. At breakfast time, our ship arrives in Amsterdam (Zaandam/Haarlem/Coenhaven docks). The city's canals, world-famous museums and historical monuments make Amsterdam one of the most romantic and beautiful cities in Europe. Enjoy our optional panoramic tour of the Dutch capital. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight stopover. Overnight on board.
