Innsbruck - Venetië

After breakfast, travel to the Brenner Pass (train or minibus). From the small border town of Brenner, on the newly built cycle path, mostly along the Eisack river, first to the small village of Gossensass and then straight to the once mighty Fugger town of Sterzing. Continue to Thumberg and the beautiful Reifenstein Castle, then via Stilfes and Mittewald to Franzensfeste with its famous fortress. The cycle path continues to the beautiful and quiet Vahrner See, to Vahrn and finally to the bishop's town of Brixen, today's destination.

Through the Dürer town of Klausen, always along the Eisack to Waidbruck, from where you have a great view of the Trostburg. Here the valley narrows and leads into the Bozen valley basin. Now the vines of the strong red wine "Teroldego" accompany the cyclists to the picturesque old town of Trento.
