We beginnen de tour. Zorg ervoor dat je al je essentiële kleding en uitrusting zo nodig hebt ingepakt, want we's nachts slapen in Nagarkot.
De plaatsen waar we vandaag naartoe gaan voor sightseeing zijn onder meer:
Pashupatinath-tempel: Een van de meest heilige hindoeïstische heiligdommen ter wereld, dat is de weelderig versierde pagode. Het is een tempel van Lord Shiva en zijn Linga (Fallisch symbool van Heer). Volgens de legende werd de tempel gebouwd in 400 na Christus. Je zult getuige kunnen zijn van de crematie van de overleden en heilige baden die toegewijden nemen in de rivier de Bagmati. Pashupatinath ligt naast een klein beschermd bos, dus je zult waarschijnlijk apen, herten en andere dieren tegenkomen.
Bouddhanath Stupa: Het gigantische koepelmonument van Boeddha bevindt zich aan de oostelijke rand van de stad Kathmandu. Het is een heilige pelgrimsbestemming van boeddhisten en trekt elke dag duizenden mensen voor gebeden. De Stupa is 36 meter hoog en presenteert een boeiend exemplaar van Stupa-ontwerp.
Bhaktapur Durbar-plein: Het paleisplein is een verzameling tempels in Shikhara- en Pagode-stijl en een paleis met 55 ramen gemaakt van baksteen en hout. De belangrijkste attractie van Bhaktapur is onder andere de Lions Gate, Golden Gate, Standbeeld van koning Bhupatindra Malla en kunstgalerijen. Na het voltooien van de tour rijden we naar Nagarkot.

Rit naar Pokhara met een privé toeristenauto
Vandaag moeten we vroeg in de ochtend wakker worden voor een uitzicht op zonsopgang over de Himalaya. We kunnen een doorlopende bergketen zien die naar het noorden kijkt en een spectaculair uitzicht op de Kathmandu-vallei in het zuiden. Na het ontbijt rijden we naar Pokhara op een rit van 7 uur. Je rijdt door de prachtige Prithivi Highway, gecultiveerde gronden van het district Dhading, bananenlanderijen van Tanahu, watervallen, rivieren, dorpen, en snelwegmarkt.

sightseeing met gids in Pokhara
Bezienswaardigheden in de Pokhara-vallei beginnen vandaag na je ontbijt om 8.30 uur. Je gids haalt je op bij het hotel in een privétoeristisch voertuig. We bezoeken vandaag de volgende plaatsen:
Phewa-meer en Barahi-tempel: dit is waar Pokhara het meest bekend om staat - een prachtig meer met uitzicht op de bergen op de achtergrond en een tempel die op een eiland aan het meer zit. De tempel is een tempel in pagodestijl met twee verdiepingen van de hindoegodin. We nemen een boot vanaf de oevers en peddelen naar de tempel. Bekijk de reflecties van Mt. Machhapurchhre (Fishtail) en Annapurna op het meer.
Seti River Gorges: Seti vertaalt zich naar wit. Het stromende witte water van de rivier stroomt door een kloof en maakt een turbulente en majestueuze stroom. De kloof is te zien vanaf de K.I Singh Bridge, bij Bagar, Mahendrapool en Prithivi Highway-bruggen.
Davis Fall: Ook bekend als Patale Chango, het is een waterval die enorm populair is bij zowel binnenlandse als internationale toeristen. Het volume water dat erdoorheen stroomt is echt indrukwekkend, vooral met de zonnestralen die het water raken dat in een kloof stroomt.
Gupteswar-grot: Het is niet alleen een grot, maar ook een pad naar de beroemde hindoetempel van Pokhara, de Gupteshwor Mahadev-tempel. Toegewijden komen massaal naar de grot om een bezoek te brengen aan de tempel. De grot is bijna 300 meter lang en in sommige delen van de grot moet je op alle vier kruipen.
Musea: Tijdens de tour bezoek je nog twee verschillende musea, een gewijd aan de Gurkha-krijgers die vochten in de wereldoorlogen, Falklandoorlogen en vele andere militaire operaties over de hele wereld; en een andere met de levensstijl en geschiedenis van de families Thakalis, Tharu en Gurung, die enkele van de etnische groepen van Nepal.

Dag 5
Rijden naar Sarankot voor zonsopgang en uitzicht op de bergen, en dan verder naar het Chitwan National Park.
Vandaag is een vroege ochtendstart, ruim voor het begin van de dageraad. We rijden naar Sarangkot op 45 minuten rijden en een korte wandeling naar Sarangkot Hill, vanwaar je een panoramisch uitzicht op Mt. Annapurna, Mt. Machhapurchure, Mt. Dhaulagiri, en andere pieken, evenals de beste scène van Pokhara en Phewa Lake. We genieten naar hartelust van het uitzicht en rijden dan terug naar het hotel voor het ontbijt.
De rit naar Chitwan National Park begint hier. De eerste paar uur liggen op hetzelfde traject als we vanuit Kathmandu naar Pokhara gaan. Vanaf de markt van Mugling maken we een bocht naar rechts en volgen de Narayani-rivier om Narayanghat in ongeveer 5 uur rijden te bereiken. We bereiken het resort en lunchen voordat we op pad gaan voor jungleactiviteiten in het nationale park. Dit omvat olifantensafari, vogels kijken en junglewandeling. We drinken een vroege ochtend thee/koffie voordat we verder gaan met meer activiteiten in het resort. We keren terug naar het resort voordat we erheen gaan om de krokodillen langs de oevers van de Narayani-rivier te observeren en dan terug voor de lunch. In de middag hervatten we jungleactiviteiten en lopen we door de jungle en gaan we naar de uitkijktoren, een boottocht op de brede rivier, dan terug voor het avondeten.

Meer activiteiten in Chitwan, en rit terug naar Kathmandu
We voltooien de resterende activiteiten in Chitwan en rijden terug naar Kathmandu op een rit van 6 uur op Prithvi Highway. Uitzicht vanaf hoge heuvels, kloven van Narayani, landbouwgrond van Dhadhing, en ander rustiek platteland zijn ongelooflijke uitzichten waar we van kunnen genieten tijdens de rit. In de avond heeft u vrije tijd als u een wandeling wilt maken, de oude markt van Ason en Indrachowk wilt bezoeken, of gewoon even wilt uitrusten.

Everest bergvlucht en sightseeing met gids in Kathmandu en afscheidsdiner
Het hoogtepunt van vandaag is de Everest-bergvlucht. Je gids haalt je vroeg in de ochtend op en we gaan naar het vliegveld voor een bergvlucht. Een vlucht van een uur brengt je dicht bij de bergen voor een spectaculair uitzicht op de bergen en ontzagwekkende rotsmassieven en luchtfoto's van Mt. Everest, Mt. Kanchenjunga, en andere pieken op de Tibetaanse grens. Je sightseeing begint.
Swoyambhunath Stupa: Ook wel de Apentempel genoemd, Swayambhu staat op de Werelderfgoedlijst, een van de heiligste plaatsen van het boeddhisme en ook het hindoeïsme. Het ligt bovenop een heuvel aan de rand van de stad Kathmandu. De enorme stoepa is ook een beroemde toeristische trekpleister vanwege het geweldige uitzicht op de vallei die het sport en ook de apen die massaal naar het terrein komen, vanwaar het zijn bijnaam Monkey Temple ontleent.
Kathmandu Durbar Square: Een ander werelderfgoed, Kathmandu Durbar Square werd gebouwd in de 12e/13e eeuw, waar de Malla King-dynastie over de stad regeerde. Koning Prithvi Narayan Shah van het district Gorkha annexeerde de stad bijna 300 jaar geleden. De Durbar heeft veel verschillende exotische architectonische ontwerpen, houtsnijwerk in ramen en deuren. De binnenplaats, tempels, Kumari (een levende godin) is de belangrijkste attractie van Durbar Square. Op het plein is er een museum dat toebehoort aan koningen en zijn regime periode weerspiegelt.
Patan Durbar-plein: Versierd met artistieke binnenplaats prachtige pagodetempels, Patan Durbar-plein is een andere werelderfgoedlocatie met een opvallende tempel gebouwd om aan Heer Krishna te zijn gewijd, gemaakt van steen in de 17e eeuw. Er is een museum met bronzen beelden en religieuze voorwerpen. De reis van Patan omvat ook het Tibetaanse vluchtelingenkamp en het handwerkcentrum.

Dear valued Customers,
BROAD ADVENTURE PVT. LTD requests you to read these booking terms and conditions of Broad Adventure carefully and to understand them before booking your trip with us. This Booking Terms and Conditions is a legal contract between Broad Adventure and you which contains important information about services provided by Broad Adventure and sets out the basis of your legal relationship with Broad Adventure.
1. Bookings and Payments:
1.1 To process a Booking you must send us a completed booking form with a 20% non-refundable but useable by postponing or transferable deposit as detailed below. This will constitute your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
1.2 We require you to email a copy of each passport and passport-size photo to our Kathmandu office, which is used to issue permits in advance for trekking, climbing, and other adventure activities.
1.3 After receiving a photocopy of your passport and the completed booking form with your 20% deposit, we will send you the final confirmation receipt.
1.4 All deposits required are per person per trip.
1.5 Please get in touch with us regarding direct deposit details.
1.6 A bank service charge may apply and should be paid at the time of deposit.
1.7 On wire transfer, your mediator bank may charge additionally.
1.8 We only accept Visa or MasterCard and a 3.5% levy will be added to the card processing fee.
1.9 The remaining balance can be paid in cash upon your arrival in Kathmandu.
1.10 Broad Adventure reserves the right to cancel your trip should the full amount not be paid in time.
1.11 We will accept your last-minute booking 2 days before the tour departure date, full payment is required.
2. Cancellation and Refund Policy
2.1 Trip Cancellation Notice: To cancel your trip, please email us a valid written notice at least 7 days before the departure date. Cancellations will only be processed with proper notice and approval.
2.2 Refunds for Cancellations 7 Days Before Departure: If you cancel your trip 7 days before the departure date, 10% of the domestic flight cancelation charge will be deducted, and the remaining amount will be refunded. No refunds will be provided for cancellations made less than 7 days before the departure date.
2.3 No Refunds After Trip Commencement:
Once your trip begins, no refunds or reimbursements will be provided under any circumstances, including but not limited to early departure, illness, personal reasons, or unforeseen events. By starting the trip, you acknowledge and agree that the full cost of the trip is non-refundable, regardless of whether you complete the entire itinerary or not. Broad Adventure will not be liable for any refunds for unused services, such as meals, accommodations, transportation, or other activities that you do not utilize during the trip. Additionally, if a group member leaves the trip for any reason—whether voluntarily, involuntarily, or due to the commission of an unlawful act—no refunds will be issued for any part of the trip, including any unused meals, accommodations, or services.
3. Booking Changes:
3.1 There will be no refund if a group member leaves a trip for any reason, voluntarily, involuntarily, or if you commit any unlawful act after the trip has commenced. We will make no refunds for any meals, accommodation, or services not used.
3.2 Should you require other changes to your original tour, the person who booked the tour must submit a written document with the changes required. While every effort will be made, changes cannot be guaranteed. Additionally, any changes will incur an additional cost.
3.3 Suppose you are prevented from traveling on the tour by genuine circumstances, for example (without restriction) because of death, injury, or serious illness of the participants, close relative or friend, redundancy. In that case, you may postpone or transfer your booking to another person, provided they meet all the requirements relating to that tour. You must provide proof of why you are unable to travel at the time you change your booking. A fee of $ 100.00 per person is required if you postpone or transfer this tour no less than two weeks before trip departure. There will be no options available 14 days before trip departure. Additionally, in some cases especially, pre-booked tickets, transportation, hotels, etc. will incur an additional cost.
4. No-Show and Late Arrival Policy
4.1. All participants must confirm their attendance at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time. Failure to do so will be considered a no-show, and the participant may forfeit their place on the trip without a refund. Additionally, anyone who does not appear at the departure location at the scheduled time will be marked as a no-show, and the trip will proceed as planned without them.
4.2. We recommend staying in contact with our team if you anticipate delays so we can assist wherever possible.
4.3. If the participants booked their hotel on their own, the participants must inform or report their name of the hotel and address at least 24 hours before the trip starts.
5. Passport and Visas
5.1. All clients must have a valid passport with at least 6 months of validity from the return date. Nepalese visas can be obtained from the Nepalese Consulate in your country or arrive at Kathmandu Airport. Nepalese visa costs are the sole responsibility of clients.
6. Travel Insurance
6.1. Travel insurance is compulsory for all Clients undertaking any tour. It should provide adequate protection for the full duration of the tour to cover personal injury, death, medical expenses, repatriation expenses, helicopter rescue, air ambulance, and adequate cover for baggage.
6.2. We strongly recommend that all travelers obtain comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, interruptions, medical emergencies, and other unexpected events. Broad Adventure is not liable for any costs not covered by insurance.
7. Health & Fitness
7.1. All our Nepal tours and treks require a level of fitness; therefore, you should always check with your local general practitioners regarding your health and fitness before you travel. It's the client's responsibility to notify Broad Adventure of any pre-existing medical condition and/or differently able that might reasonably be expected to increase the risk of you requiring medical attention, that may affect your ability to travel.
8. Children
8.1. A legal guardian must accompany all travelers under the age of eighteen. If you have a question regarding age and suitability, please contact us for further information.
9. Publicity
9.1. You agree that Broad Adventure may use images of you taken during the trip without recourse to you and compensation to you, for publicity and promotion purposes only through whatever medium it chooses.
10. Changes to your Holiday and Pricing
10.1. Traveling with Broad Adventure requires a degree of flexibility, good humor, and an understanding that modes of transport, accommodation, and itineraries may change, even after the tour has commenced, without prior notice due to local circumstances such as flight delay, cancellation or postponement due to notorious weather in the Himalayan regions or other unpredictable circumstances such as land-slides, road blockage, flood, snow, political unrest or delay arrival, etc. Broad Adventure is unable to refund any monies under the above circumstances due to prior supplier arrangements. If possible, we will always endeavor to provide you with an alternative or substitute trip of the same category.
10.2. Broad Adventure does not accept any responsibility for loss of employment, delays, or compensation resulting from situations beyond Broad Adventure's control.
10.3. Our holidays and tour/trek packages are based on twin shared accommodation. Thus, a single room supplement charge will be imposed on clients who do not have another tour participant to share accommodation with.
10.4. We reserve the right to revise pricing rates posted in our marketing material, under any circumstances, or under the pressure of various external factors that are further than our control, for instance, changes in the exchange rate, government action, etc.
11. Privacy
11.1. In order to collect information from you to make a booking through Broad Adventure we ask many questions to obtain the necessary permits etc. No private or personal information that you supply to us when making a booking will not be disclosed for any other purposes.
12. Risk & Liabilities
12.1. We are committed to providing the best services which will give you a once-in-a-lifetime journey in this connection, we perform our duties honestly & seriously to make your journey very smooth & pleasant. However, the entire programs in Nepal are conducted strictly under the rules and regulations of their own policies.
12.2. Therefore Broad Adventure and its related organization shall not be responsible for any changes in the itinerary due to unavoidable circumstances such as govt. restriction, Land slide, road blockage, flood, snow, political unrest, cancellation of flight, delay, sickness or accident, Any extra cost incurred thereof shall be borne by the clients on the spots.
13. Our Responsible Tourism Policy

13.1.3 Leave No Trace: Clients are expected to follow the principles of "Leave No Trace" by leaving natural areas as they found them, without causing harm or leaving any trace of their presence.
13.2 Cultural Sensitivity:
13.2.1 Respect for Local Culture: Clients must respect the customs, traditions, and cultural norms of the communities they visit. This includes appropriate attire, behavior, and interactions with local people, especially in sacred or culturally sensitive sites.
13.2.2 Cultural Exchanges: Clients should seek opportunities to engage with local communities in a respectful and meaningful way, promoting cultural understanding and supporting local economies by purchasing local products and services.
13.2.3 Photography and Privacy: Clients must respect the privacy and consent of individuals they encounter during their travels. It is important to obtain permission before taking photographs or sharing images of local people.
13.3 Social Responsibility:
13.3.1 Support Local Communities: Clients should prioritize supporting local businesses, such as accommodations, restaurants, and guides, to contribute positively to the local economy and foster sustainable development.
13.3.2 Responsible Souvenir Purchasing: Clients should avoid purchasing souvenirs made from endangered species, protected plants, or cultural artifacts. They should support local artisans and buy sustainable, locally produced items.

14. Health and Safety:
14.1. Personal Health and Fitness: Clients are responsible for assessing their own health and fitness levels and ensuring that they are adequately prepared for the physical demands of their chosen activities. It is recommended to consult with a healthcare professional before participating in any adventure travel.
14.2. Compliance with Safety Instructions: Clients must follow the instructions and guidelines provided by Broad Adventures' guides and staff to ensure their personal safety and the safety of others during the trip.
14.3. Travel Insurance: It is mandatory for clients to have comprehensive travel insurance that covers adventure activities, medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and other relevant risks.
15. Compliance with Laws and Regulations:
Clients must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and requirements of the countries they visit, including those related to customs, immigration, health, and safety.
16. Complaints
If you have a complaint about the trip or tour, you must inform your tour leader or guide as soon as possible so they can take appropriate action. Complaints that are not reported to the tour leader or a responsible person in Kathmandu at the earliest opportunity will not be considered valid or actionable.
By engaging in our services, clients acknowledge and agree to these responsible travel terms and conditions. Failure to adhere to these terms may result in termination of services without refund and may disqualify clients from participating in future trips.
