Day 1

Aeroporto Humberto Delgado (LIS), Alameda das Comunidades Portuguesas, Lisbon, Lisboa 1700-008, Portugal

13:00 - 22:00

Day 2

Lisbonne - Sintra

Meeting point at the hotel lobby – 08h30 am.

Sintra is 30 km from Lisbon, offering a foretaste of Paradise. The temperate climate ensures permanent freshness and luxuriant vegetation, making Sintra a deeply romantic and mysterious place. Stand out from the Town Palace, the Pena Palace (Ticket entrance included). Visit Piriquita, the pastry of the famous queijada.

See the 16th-century Jeronimo's Monastery (UNESCO), the Discoveries Monument honoring intrepid Portuguese explorers and their patrons, and the impressive Belem Tower (Tickets are not included). Visit an old patisserie that has managed to hold on to the secret recipe of Portugal. This pastry has existed for over 100 years. Enjoy a demonstration and tasting of the famous 'pastéis de Belem.'

Physical activities: Pena Palace has stairs and sloped streets without elevator access. This experience is not recommended for individuals with mobility impairments, including those using canes, crutches, or wheelchairs. In case of a weather alert (strong winds, thunderstorms, or extreme heat), we will visit Queluz Palace instead, as access to Pena Palace will be closed.

Accommodation: 4-star hotel. Overnight in Lisbon.

Meals: Breakfast, Pastry Pastel de Belém (One Portuguese custard tart and one coffee are included. For a non-alcoholic beverage option, please ask your local guide), and Pastry Piriquita (two cakes).

Day 3

Day 4

Porto

After that, we will cross the Douro River and visit a Port Wine Cellars (Including standard two great wines).

Day 5

Porto - Arcos De Valdevez

Check-out at the hotel until 11 am. Free morning in Porto.

Meeting point at the hotel lobby – 11h30 am.

Our first stop will be the sardine cannery. On this factory tour, you will learn about the sardine industry in Portugal, from fisheries to canning to marketing and distribution. Don’t worry; the smell is not as strong as you might think! You will finish the tour with a delightful tasting of sardines, bread, and of course, Portuguese wine.

After visiting the cities, we will visit the real Portugal, off the beaten path and authentic. We will explore remote villages, authentic cultural heritage, and some of the greenest landscapes in the country. You will sleep in the heart of the Minho province and at the door of the Peneda-Geres National Park, surrounded by stunning mountains and forests.

During the journey, we might come across garrano, or wild ponies. These wild animals have been native to the region since the Celtic era, during the first millennium B.C. The Portuguese government began to rebuild the herds in the 1940s in what is now the national park.

Before the dinner, we will visit an incredible local vineyard and expand your knowledge of the revered Vinho Verde.

Dinner will be at the rural hotel. Dinner will be at the rural hotel. This hotel works hard to incorporate slow food to promote local small businesses while working against the globalization of agricultural products.

Day 6

Arcos de Valdevez

After several days exploring Portugal’s vibrant cities, today invites you to slow the pace and reconnect with nature. Welcome to the peaceful countryside of Arcos de Valdevez, where time seems to move more gently.

Here, relaxation comes naturally. Listen to the subtle soundtrack of rural life—the soft chirping of birds, the whisper of the wind through the trees, and the comforting silence only the countryside can offer. Don’t forget to pack your swimsuit: on a pleasant day, the hotel pool is the perfect spot to unwind and soak in the tranquil surroundings.

In Portugal’s interior regions, cuisine is simple, honest, and deeply flavorful. Lunch celebrates authentic regional dishes prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients—true comfort food that reflects generations of culinary tradition.

Head to the hotel kitchen for a hands-on cooking class led by a local chef. You’ll learn how to prepare traditional Portuguese recipes step by step, discovering techniques and stories passed down through time. Once the cooking is complete, gather in the dining room to enjoy the dishes you created together, beautifully paired with local wines. More than a meal, it’s a shared experience—one that connects culture, flavor, and friendship.

Accommodation: Country House. Overnight in Arcos de Valdevez.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.

Day 7

Arcos De Valdevez - Braga

Today begins with one of Portugal’s most cherished culinary traditions: bread-making.

Join a local chef and friends for a final cooking experience, where you’ll uncover the secrets behind broa de milho, Portugal’s iconic corn bread. Using locally grown corn and wheat, you’ll follow age-old methods that bring this rustic bread to life. The aroma, the textures, and the simplicity of the process offer a beautiful glimpse into rural Portuguese culture.

After lunch, we journey to Braga, one of Portugal’s oldest and most spiritual cities. Enjoy a guided walking tour through its historic center, rich with Roman roots, baroque churches, and lively squares. The day culminates at the breathtaking Bom Jesus do Monte Sanctuary, where sweeping views and monumental stairways create one of the country’s most iconic landscapes.

Accommodation: 4-star hotel. Overnight in Braga.

Meals: Breakfast and Lunch.

Day 8
