Itinéraire

Le circuit du Manaslu est l'un des meilleurs treks isolés du Népal. Il commence à Arughat Bazaar, à une altitude de 700 mètres du niveau de la mer et atteint 5260 mètres. Le trek du Manaslu a été ouvert en 1991 avec un permis spécial. La première partie du sentier passe par la rive de la rivière Budhi Gandaki et monte progressivement en traversant les vallées et les villages. Le niveau de difficulté du trek est élevé. Chaque jour, il faut 6 à 7 heures de marche pour atteindre le prochain camp et plus de 8 heures pour le jour du col de Larkey.

Le sentier atteint le Besishar après avoir franchi le col du Larkey La (5 260 m). C'est le point de rencontre des sentiers de trekking. C'est aussi le point de départ du circuit de l'Annapurna. Le sentier du Manaslu est la vitrine d'un environnement unique avec les majestueuses chaînes de l'Himalaya. Le scénario naturel avec les lacs glaciaires romantiques de haute altitude, la flore et la faune hypnotisent toujours les randonneurs. Il met également en valeur la diversité culturelle. Toutes ces topographies font de ce sentier l'une des meilleures destinations pour les randonnées dans les régions reculées du Népal. C'est également une piste de camping bien connue au Népal. Pour un camping romantique, le Manaslu est l'une des meilleures destinations. Mais aujourd'hui, la plupart des trekkeurs choisissent les maisons d'hôtes en raison de leur prix avantageux. Day 1

Jour 1 : Arrivée à l'aéroport international Tribhuwan de Katmandou (1 345 m)

Our airport representative welcomes you at the airport and transfers to the hotel in a private tourist vehicle.

Day 2

Jour 2 : Réunion de préparation au voyage et visite de la vallée de Katmandou.

A short introductory meeting begins the day with your trek and tour leader. After breakfast, we organize a short meeting in the hotel lobby. The meeting finalizes the preparation of the trek. Soon, the day tour will start, and on the tour visit the most highlighted places of Kathmandu.

  • PASHUPATINATH TEMPLE

Pashupatinath Temple is one of the most visited and sacred places for Hindus. According to Hindu mythology, Pashupatinath is one of four Dham. It is not only a religious place but also a cremation place. The dead body is burning with firewood on the bank of the holy river Bagmati.


  • BOUDDHA STUPA

Bouddhanath Stupa is one of the biggest Buddhist shrines in the world. While touring Buddha you can meet the monks, learn about Buddhism, and gather information about Thankas, and their significance.


  • BHAKTAPUR DURBAR SQUARE

Bhaktapur Durbar Square is a royal palace built centuries ago when Nepal had 22 and 24 state kingdoms. The palace is famous with the name fifty-five windows durbar, Nyatapol Mandir the tallest temple in Nepal. The Lion Gate, Golden Gates, The statue of King BhupatindraMalla, and the pottery where the potter makes are the main attractions of Bhaktapur.


After finishing the tour, the evening time is to review the luggage for the trek. If you are interested you can walk around Thamel, choose the restaurant for dinner.

Day 3

Jour 3 : Route vers Machha Khola (900 m) via Arughat Bazaar Gorkha (640m) et Soti Khola (775m)

After breakfast, your guide will pick you up from your hotel and drive to Arughat, the starting point of the trek, via Dhading Besi. The road up to Tari Besi is a comfortable drive and from Tari Besi to Soti is through a winding dirt road. The road follows the Budhi Gandaki River to reach Arkhet Bazaar via Mangaltar and Simara through the river banks. And ascending road brings you to Soti Khola where we stay for the night. On a flat path, we reach Armala and through the forest trail you will reach Lapubesi and then the trail follows down to the riverbank of Budhi Gandaki, which will be on the Machha River.

Day 4

Jour 4 : Trekking jusqu'à Jagat (1 340 m)

We continue on the trails which has some uphills and some downhills to Khani Goan crossing a few rivers to reach Khorla Besi. Following the narrow path, you reach a hot spring called Tatopani. Along the trail, you will see terraced rice fields and eventually reach Jagat.

Day 5

Jour 5 : Trek jusqu'à Deng (1860 m)

After breakfast, we ascended to Saguleri. It is a viewpoint of Sringi Himal (7,177m), continuing to Sirish Gaon. The trail goes through a bamboo forest. Following the upstream Deng River and arrive at Deng village.

Day 6

Jour 6 : Trekking jusqu'à Namrung (2 630 m)

Today is a bit more tough day than previous days, though we are enjoying the walking in landscape and cultivated areas. After a few hours of walking, we arrive at Ghap (2160m). Ghap welcomes with melodic sounds of a waterfall. After 4 hours of walking, we reach Namrung.

Day 7

Jour 7 : Trekking jusqu'à Sama Gaon (3 500 m) via Lho (3 200 m)

The trail goes through areas scattered with cultivated fields after crossing the bridge over Budhi Gandaki. We cross the Hinan river and continue to Lho from there you can see Manaslu North and Mt. Manaslu and arrive at Lho Gaon. And we continue to Samgaon (3,500m).

Day 8

Jour 8 : Acclimatation et exploration

Today is acclimatization and exploration day, as we are gaining altitude and it’s important to get used to the thin air. During the day, we can visit Pungyen Gompa or glacial Lake Birendra Tal (4-5 hours). Or, we can also trek to Manaslu Base Camp as a day hike.

Day 9

Jour 9 : Trekking jusqu'à Samdo (3 860 m)

We will enter the Stone Gate and cross the long stonewalls along the trail. Peak 29 can be seen very clearly. The side trip to Pungen Glacier gives close views of Mt. Manaslu and continues to meet Sama Gaon after 20min from Sama, where the overnight accommodation is.

Day 10

Jour 10 : Acclimatation à Samdo.

Today is acclimatization and exploration day, as we are gaining altitude and it’s important to get used to the thin air. A recommend hike up the valley directly at the back of the Samdo village from where you can enjoy the stunning view of Mt. Manaslu including Simrang, Hiunchuli, Ngadi, Larkye Peak, Cheo.

Day 11

Jour 11 : Trek vers Larke Phedi (4460m)/ Dharmasala

We walk to Dharmasala/ Larke Phedi (4460m). The guesthouse in Dharmasala is with basic facilities for meals and accommodation.

Day 12

Jour 12 : Traversée du Larkya La (5 215 m) et trekking jusqu'à Bhimphedi/ Bhimphedi (3 590 m)

Before the crack of dawn we set off for Larkya La pass through steep uphills. From the pass, you can see the amazing views of Himlung Himal (7,126m), Cheo Himal (6,820m), Gyagi Kung, Kang Kuru (6,981m) and the Annapurna II (7,937m). The trail then descends through moraines on a steep gradient, towards Bhimphedi.

Day 13

Jour 13 : Trekking jusqu'à Tilje (3 900 m)

Having crossed Larkya La the previous day, this day will be very easy for you. A light climb brings us to paddy fields towards to Karcha La Pass and a descent to Tilje through rhododendron forests.

Day 14

Jour 14 : Trek vers Tal (1 725 m)

The trail follows Marshayangdi River passing through the dispersed village to get Tal.

Day 15

Jour 15 : Retour à Katmandou en Jeep 4x4

We travel in a 4WD jeep from Tal to Kathmandu. The road up to Besishar is dirty, bumpy off-road. From Beshishar, drive on a smooth road and arrives in Kathmandu. We enjoy the farewell dinner in a Nepali Restaurant with folk music and dances.

Day 16

Jour 16 : Fin du voyage.

The trip concludes – our airport representative will drop you at the Kathmandu international airport for your final flight departure from Nepal.

BROAD ADVENTURE PVT. LTD requests you to read these booking terms and conditions of Broad Adventure carefully and to understand them before booking your trip with us. This Booking Terms and Conditions is a legal contract between Broad Adventure and you which contains important information about services provided by Broad Adventure and sets out the basis of your legal relationship with Broad Adventure.


1. Bookings and Payments:

1.1 To process a Booking you must send us a completed booking form with a 20% non-refundable but useable by postponing or transferable deposit as detailed below. This will constitute your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

1.2 We require you to email a copy of each passport and passport-size photo to our Kathmandu office, which is used to issue permits in advance for trekking, climbing, and other adventure activities.

1.3 After receiving a photocopy of your passport and the completed booking form with your 20% deposit, we will send you the final confirmation receipt.

1.4 All deposits required are per person per trip.

1.5 Please get in touch with us regarding direct deposit details.

1.6 A bank service charge may apply and should be paid at the time of deposit.

1.7 On wire transfer, your mediator bank may charge additionally. 

1.8 We only accept Visa or MasterCard and a 3.5% levy will be added to the card processing fee.

1.9 The remaining balance can be paid in cash upon your arrival in Kathmandu.

1.10 Broad Adventure reserves the right to cancel your trip should the full amount not be paid in time.

1.11 We will accept your last-minute booking 2 days before the tour departure date, full payment is required.


2. Cancellation and Refund Policy

2.1 Trip Cancellation Notice: To cancel your trip, please email us a valid written notice at least  7 days before the departure date. Cancellations will only be processed with proper notice and approval.

2.2 Refunds for Cancellations 7 Days Before Departure: If you cancel your trip 7 days before the departure date, 10% of the domestic flight cancelation charge will be deducted, and the remaining amount will be refunded. No refunds will be provided for cancellations made less than 7 days before the departure date.

2.3 No Refunds After Trip Commencement: 

Once your trip begins, no refunds or reimbursements will be provided under any circumstances, including but not limited to early departure, illness, personal reasons, or unforeseen events. By starting the trip, you acknowledge and agree that the full cost of the trip is non-refundable, regardless of whether you complete the entire itinerary or not. Broad Adventure will not be liable for any refunds for unused services, such as meals, accommodations, transportation, or other activities that you do not utilize during the trip. Additionally, if a group member leaves the trip for any reason—whether voluntarily, involuntarily, or due to the commission of an unlawful act—no refunds will be issued for any part of the trip, including any unused meals, accommodations, or services.


3. Booking Changes:

3.1 There will be no refund if a group member leaves a trip for any reason, voluntarily, involuntarily, or if you commit any unlawful act after the trip has commenced. We will make no refunds for any meals, accommodation, or services not used.

3.2 Should you require other changes to your original tour, the person who booked the tour must submit a written document with the changes required. While every effort will be made, changes cannot be guaranteed. Additionally, any changes will incur an additional cost.

3.3 Suppose you are prevented from traveling on the tour by genuine circumstances, for example (without restriction) because of death, injury, or serious illness of the participants, close relative or friend, redundancy. In that case, you may postpone or transfer your booking to another person, provided they meet all the requirements relating to that tour. You must provide proof of why you are unable to travel at the time you change your booking. A fee of $ 100.00 per person is required if you postpone or transfer this tour no less than two weeks before trip departure. There will be no options available 14 days before trip departure. Additionally, in some cases especially, pre-booked tickets, transportation, hotels, etc. will incur an additional cost. 


4. No-Show and Late Arrival Policy

4.1. All participants must confirm their attendance at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time. Failure to do so will be considered a no-show, and the participant may forfeit their place on the trip without a refund. Additionally, anyone who does not appear at the departure location at the scheduled time will be marked as a no-show, and the trip will proceed as planned without them.

4.2. We recommend staying in contact with our team if you anticipate delays so we can assist wherever possible.

4.3. If the participants booked their hotel on their own, the participants must inform or report their name of the hotel and address at least 24 hours before the trip starts. 


5. Passport and Visas

5.1. All clients must have a valid passport with at least 6 months of validity from the return date. Nepalese visas can be obtained from the Nepalese Consulate in your country or arrive at Kathmandu Airport. Nepalese visa costs are the sole responsibility of clients.


6. Travel Insurance

6.1. Travel insurance is compulsory for all Clients undertaking any tour. It should provide adequate protection for the full duration of the tour to cover personal injury, death, medical expenses, repatriation expenses, helicopter rescue, air ambulance, and adequate cover for baggage.

6.2. We strongly recommend that all travelers obtain comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, interruptions, medical emergencies, and other unexpected events. Broad Adventure is not liable for any costs not covered by insurance.


7. Health & Fitness

7.1. All our Nepal tours and treks require a level of fitness; therefore, you should always check with your local general practitioners regarding your health and fitness before you travel. It's the client's responsibility to notify Broad Adventure of any pre-existing medical condition and/or differently able that might reasonably be expected to increase the risk of you requiring medical attention, that may affect your ability to travel.


8. Children

8.1. A legal guardian must accompany all travelers under the age of eighteen. If you have a question regarding age and suitability, please contact us for further information.


9. Publicity

9.1. You agree that Broad Adventure may use images of you taken during the trip without recourse to you and compensation to you, for publicity and promotion purposes only through whatever medium it chooses.


10. Changes to your Holiday and Pricing

10.1. Traveling with Broad Adventure requires a degree of flexibility, good humor, and an understanding that modes of transport, accommodation, and itineraries may change, even after the tour has commenced, without prior notice due to local circumstances such as flight delay, cancellation or postponement due to notorious weather in the Himalayan regions or other unpredictable circumstances such as land-slides, road blockage, flood, snow, political unrest or delay arrival, etc. Broad Adventure is unable to refund any monies under the above circumstances due to prior supplier arrangements. If possible, we will always endeavor to provide you with an alternative or substitute trip of the same category.

10.2. Broad Adventure does not accept any responsibility for loss of employment, delays, or compensation resulting from situations beyond Broad Adventure's control.

10.3. Our holidays and tour/trek packages are based on twin shared accommodation. Thus, a single room supplement charge will be imposed on clients who do not have another tour participant to share accommodation with.

10.4. We reserve the right to revise pricing rates posted in our marketing material, under any circumstances, or under the pressure of various external factors that are further than our control, for instance, changes in the exchange rate, government action, etc.


11. Privacy

11.1. In order to collect information from you to make a booking through Broad Adventure we ask many questions to obtain the necessary permits etc. No private or personal information that you supply to us when making a booking will not be disclosed for any other purposes.


12. Risk & Liabilities

12.1. We are committed to providing the best services which will give you a once-in-a-lifetime journey in this connection, we perform our duties honestly & seriously to make your journey very smooth & pleasant. However, the entire programs in Nepal are conducted strictly under the rules and regulations of their own policies.

12.2. Therefore Broad Adventure and its related organization shall not be responsible for any changes in the itinerary due to unavoidable circumstances such as govt. restriction, Land slide, road blockage, flood, snow, political unrest, cancellation of flight, delay, sickness or accident, Any extra cost incurred thereof shall be borne by the clients on the spots.


13. Our Responsible Tourism Policy

At Broad Adventure, we are committed to promoting responsible and sustainable travel practices. We expect all our clients to adhere to the following terms and conditions to ensure a positive impact on the environment, local communities, and cultural heritage:

13.1 Environmental Responsibility: 

13.1.1 Respect for Nature: Clients must respect and protect the natural environment. This includes not littering, avoiding damage to ecosystems, and following designated trails or paths during outdoor activities. 

13.1.2 Conservation Efforts: Clients should support and participate in conservation initiatives, such as minimizing waste, conserving water and energy, and respecting wildlife habitats and protected areas. 

13.1.3 Leave No Trace: Clients are expected to follow the principles of "Leave No Trace" by leaving natural areas as they found them, without causing harm or leaving any trace of their presence.

13.2 Cultural Sensitivity: 

13.2.1 Respect for Local Culture: Clients must respect the customs, traditions, and cultural norms of the communities they visit. This includes appropriate attire, behavior, and interactions with local people, especially in sacred or culturally sensitive sites. 

13.2.2 Cultural Exchanges: Clients should seek opportunities to engage with local communities in a respectful and meaningful way, promoting cultural understanding and supporting local economies by purchasing local products and services.

13.2.3 Photography and Privacy: Clients must respect the privacy and consent of individuals they encounter during their travels. It is important to obtain permission before taking photographs or sharing images of local people.

13.3 Social Responsibility: 

13.3.1 Support Local Communities: Clients should prioritize supporting local businesses, such as accommodations, restaurants, and guides, to contribute positively to the local economy and foster sustainable development.

13.3.2 Responsible Souvenir Purchasing: Clients should avoid purchasing souvenirs made from endangered species, protected plants, or cultural artifacts. They should support local artisans and buy sustainable, locally produced items. 

13.3.3 Responsible Volunteering: If clients engage in volunteer activities, they must ensure that they are aligned with ethical standards and benefit local communities in a sustainable and responsible manner.


14. Health and Safety: 

14.1. Personal Health and Fitness: Clients are responsible for assessing their own health and fitness levels and ensuring that they are adequately prepared for the physical demands of their chosen activities. It is recommended to consult with a healthcare professional before participating in any adventure travel.

14.2. Compliance with Safety Instructions: Clients must follow the instructions and guidelines provided by Broad Adventures' guides and staff to ensure their personal safety and the safety of others during the trip. 

14.3. Travel Insurance: It is mandatory for clients to have comprehensive travel insurance that covers adventure activities, medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and other relevant risks.


15. Compliance with Laws and Regulations: 

Clients must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and requirements of the countries they visit, including those related to customs, immigration, health, and safety.


16. Complaints 

If you have a complaint about the trip or tour, you must inform your tour leader or guide as soon as possible so they can take appropriate action. Complaints that are not reported to the tour leader or a responsible person in Kathmandu at the earliest opportunity will not be considered valid or actionable.


By engaging in our services, clients acknowledge and agree to these responsible travel terms and conditions. Failure to adhere to these terms may result in termination of services without refund and may disqualify clients from participating in future trips.
