El Trekking del Circuito del Manaslu es uno de los mejores trekkings remotos de Nepal. Comienza en el Bazar de Arughat, la altitud es de 700 m desde el nivel del mar y alcanza los 5260 m. El trekking del Manaslu se abrió en 1991 con un permiso especial. La parte inicial del sendero consiste en caminar por la orilla del río Budhi Gandaki y ascender gradualmente atravesando valles y aldeas. El nivel de dificultad del trekking es duro. Cada día requiere 6-7 horas de marcha para llegar al siguiente campamento y más de 8 horas para el día del Paso Larkey.
El sendero llega al Besishar tras cruzar el Paso de Larkey La (5.260 m). Es el punto de encuentro de las rutas de senderismo. Y también el punto de partida del Trekking del Circuito del Annapurna. El sendero del Manaslu es el escaparate del entorno único con las majestuosas cordilleras del Himalaya. El escenario natural con románticos lagos glaciares de gran altitud, flora y fauna siempre hipnotiza a los senderistas. Y también el escaparate de las diversidades culturales. Todas estas topografías del sendero lo convierten en uno de los mejores destinos para el trekking remoto de Nepal. También es un conocido sendero para acampar en Nepal. Una breve reunión introductoria da comienzo al día con tu guía de senderismo y tu guía. Después del desayuno, organizamos una breve reunión en el vestíbulo del hotel. En la reunión se ultiman los preparativos del trekking. Pronto comenzará la excursión de un día, en la que visitaremos los lugares más destacados de Katmandú.
El templo de Pashupatinath es uno de los lugares más visitados y sagrados para los hindúes. Según la mitología hindú, Pashupatinath es uno de los cuatro Dham. No es sólo un lugar religioso, sino también un lugar de cremación. El cadáver se quema con leña en la orilla del río sagrado Bagmati.
La estupa de Bouddhanath es uno de los mayores santuarios budistas del mundo. Mientras recorres Buda puedes conocer a los monjes, aprender sobre el budismo y obtener información sobre las Thankas y su significado.
La Plaza Durbar de Bhaktapur es un palacio real construido hace siglos, cuando Nepal tenía 22 y 24 reinos estatales. El palacio es famoso con el nombre de durbar de las cincuenta y cinco ventanas, Nyatapol Mandir el templo más alto de Nepal. La Puerta del León, las Puertas Doradas, la estatua del rey BhupatindraMalla y la alfarería que fabrica el alfarero son las principales atracciones de Bhaktapur.
Después de terminar la visita, por la tarde toca revisar el equipaje para el trekking. Si te interesa, puedes pasear por Thamel y elegir un restaurante para cenar.
Después del desayuno, tu guía te recogerá en el hotel y te llevará a Arughat, el punto de partida del trekking, pasando por Dhading Besi. La carretera hasta Tari Besi es cómoda y de Tari Besi a Soti se recorre un sinuoso camino de tierra. La carretera sigue el río Budhi Gandaki para llegar a Arkhet Bazaar por Mangaltar y Simara a través de las orillas del río. Y el camino ascendente te lleva a Soti Khola, donde pasaremos la noche. Por un camino llano, llegamos a Armala y a través del sendero del bosque llegarás a Lapubesi y luego el sendero sigue hacia abajo hasta la orilla del río Budhi Gandaki, que estará en el río Machha.
Continuamos por el sendero que tiene algunas subidas y algunas bajadas hasta Khani Goan cruzando unos cuantos ríos para llegar a Khorla Besi. Siguiendo el estrecho sendero, llegarás a una fuente termal llamada Tatopani. A lo largo del sendero, verás arrozales en terrazas y finalmente llegarás a Jagat.
Después del desayuno, ascendimos a Saguleri. Es un mirador del Himal Sringi (7.177 m), que continúa hasta Sirish Gaon. El sendero atraviesa un bosque de bambú. Siguiendo la corriente ascendente del río Deng y llegamos a la aldea de Deng.
Hoy es un día un poco más duro que los anteriores, aunque estamos disfrutando de la caminata por paisajes y zonas cultivadas. Tras unas horas de marcha, llegamos a Ghap (2160 m). Ghap nos da la bienvenida con los sonidos melódicos de una cascada. Tras 4 horas de marcha, llegamos a Namrung.
El sendero atraviesa zonas salpicadas de campos cultivados después de cruzar el puente sobre Budhi Gandaki. Cruzamos el río Hinan y continuamos hasta Lho desde donde se puede ver el Manaslu Norte y el monte Manaslu y llegamos a Lho Gaon. Y seguimos hasta Samgaon (3.500 m).
Hoy es día de aclimatación y exploración, ya que estamos ganando altitud y es importante acostumbrarse al aire enrarecido. Durante el día, podemos visitar Pungyen Gompa o el lago glaciar Birendra Tal (4-5 horas). También podemos hacer una excursión de un día al Campo Base del Manaslu.
Entraremos por la Puerta de Piedra y cruzaremos los largos muros de piedra a lo largo del sendero. El Pico 29 se ve muy claramente. La excursión lateral al glaciar Pungen ofrece vistas cercanas del monte Manaslu y continúa hasta encontrarnos con Sama Gaon después de 20min desde Sama, donde está el alojamiento para pasar la noche.
Hoy es día de aclimatación y exploración, ya que estamos ganando altitud y es importante acostumbrarse al aire enrarecido. Recomendamos subir por el valle directamente a la espalda de la aldea de Samdo, desde donde podrás disfrutar de las impresionantes vistas del monte Manaslu, incluidos Simrang, Hiunchuli, Ngadi, el pico Larkye y Cheo.
Caminamos hasta Dharmasala/ Larke Phedi (4460 m). La pensión de Dharmasala dispone de instalaciones básicas para las comidas y el alojamiento.
Antes de que despunte el alba, partimos hacia el paso de Larkya La a través de empinadas subidas. Desde el paso, puedes contemplar las impresionantes vistas del Himlung Himal (7.126 m), el Cheo Himal (6.820 m), el Gyagi Kung, el Kang Kuru (6.981 m) y el Annapurna II (7.937 m). A continuación, el sendero desciende por morrenas en fuerte pendiente, hacia Bhimphedi.
Tras haber cruzado Larkya La el día anterior, este día te resultará muy fácil. Una ligera subida nos lleva a arrozales hacia el paso de Karcha La y un descenso a Tilje a través de bosques de rododendros.
El sendero sigue el río Marshayangdi pasando por la aldea dispersa para llegar a Tal.
Viajamos en un jeep 4x4 de Tal a Katmandú. La carretera hasta Besishar es sucia y llena de baches. Desde Beshishar, conducimos por una carretera lisa y llegamos a Katmandú. Disfrutamos de la cena de despedida en un restaurante nepalí con música y danzas folclóricas.
El viaje concluye: nuestro representante en el aeropuerto te dejará en el aeropuerto internacional de Katmandú para tomar el último vuelo de salida de Nepal.

BROAD ADVENTURE PVT. LTD requests you to read these booking terms and conditions of Broad Adventure carefully and to understand them before booking your trip with us. This Booking Terms and Conditions is a legal contract between Broad Adventure and you which contains important information about services provided by Broad Adventure and sets out the basis of your legal relationship with Broad Adventure.
1. Bookings and Payments:
1.1 To process a Booking you must send us a completed booking form with a 20% non-refundable but useable by postponing or transferable deposit as detailed below. This will constitute your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
1.2 We require you to email a copy of each passport and passport-size photo to our Kathmandu office, which is used to issue permits in advance for trekking, climbing, and other adventure activities.
1.3 After receiving a photocopy of your passport and the completed booking form with your 20% deposit, we will send you the final confirmation receipt.
1.4 All deposits required are per person per trip.
1.5 Please get in touch with us regarding direct deposit details.
1.6 A bank service charge may apply and should be paid at the time of deposit.
1.7 On wire transfer, your mediator bank may charge additionally.
1.8 We only accept Visa or MasterCard and a 3.5% levy will be added to the card processing fee.
1.9 The remaining balance can be paid in cash upon your arrival in Kathmandu.
1.10 Broad Adventure reserves the right to cancel your trip should the full amount not be paid in time.
1.11 We will accept your last-minute booking 2 days before the tour departure date, full payment is required.
2. Cancellation and Refund Policy
2.1 Trip Cancellation Notice: To cancel your trip, please email us a valid written notice at least 7 days before the departure date. Cancellations will only be processed with proper notice and approval.
2.2 Refunds for Cancellations 7 Days Before Departure: If you cancel your trip 7 days before the departure date, 10% of the domestic flight cancelation charge will be deducted, and the remaining amount will be refunded. No refunds will be provided for cancellations made less than 7 days before the departure date.
2.3 No Refunds After Trip Commencement:
Once your trip begins, no refunds or reimbursements will be provided under any circumstances, including but not limited to early departure, illness, personal reasons, or unforeseen events. By starting the trip, you acknowledge and agree that the full cost of the trip is non-refundable, regardless of whether you complete the entire itinerary or not. Broad Adventure will not be liable for any refunds for unused services, such as meals, accommodations, transportation, or other activities that you do not utilize during the trip. Additionally, if a group member leaves the trip for any reason—whether voluntarily, involuntarily, or due to the commission of an unlawful act—no refunds will be issued for any part of the trip, including any unused meals, accommodations, or services.
3. Booking Changes:
3.1 There will be no refund if a group member leaves a trip for any reason, voluntarily, involuntarily, or if you commit any unlawful act after the trip has commenced. We will make no refunds for any meals, accommodation, or services not used.
3.2 Should you require other changes to your original tour, the person who booked the tour must submit a written document with the changes required. While every effort will be made, changes cannot be guaranteed. Additionally, any changes will incur an additional cost.
3.3 Suppose you are prevented from traveling on the tour by genuine circumstances, for example (without restriction) because of death, injury, or serious illness of the participants, close relative or friend, redundancy. In that case, you may postpone or transfer your booking to another person, provided they meet all the requirements relating to that tour. You must provide proof of why you are unable to travel at the time you change your booking. A fee of $ 100.00 per person is required if you postpone or transfer this tour no less than two weeks before trip departure. There will be no options available 14 days before trip departure. Additionally, in some cases especially, pre-booked tickets, transportation, hotels, etc. will incur an additional cost.
4. No-Show and Late Arrival Policy
4.1. All participants must confirm their attendance at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time. Failure to do so will be considered a no-show, and the participant may forfeit their place on the trip without a refund. Additionally, anyone who does not appear at the departure location at the scheduled time will be marked as a no-show, and the trip will proceed as planned without them.
4.2. We recommend staying in contact with our team if you anticipate delays so we can assist wherever possible.
4.3. If the participants booked their hotel on their own, the participants must inform or report their name of the hotel and address at least 24 hours before the trip starts.
5. Passport and Visas
5.1. All clients must have a valid passport with at least 6 months of validity from the return date. Nepalese visas can be obtained from the Nepalese Consulate in your country or arrive at Kathmandu Airport. Nepalese visa costs are the sole responsibility of clients.
6. Travel Insurance
6.1. Travel insurance is compulsory for all Clients undertaking any tour. It should provide adequate protection for the full duration of the tour to cover personal injury, death, medical expenses, repatriation expenses, helicopter rescue, air ambulance, and adequate cover for baggage.
6.2. We strongly recommend that all travelers obtain comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, interruptions, medical emergencies, and other unexpected events. Broad Adventure is not liable for any costs not covered by insurance.
7. Health & Fitness
7.1. All our Nepal tours and treks require a level of fitness; therefore, you should always check with your local general practitioners regarding your health and fitness before you travel. It's the client's responsibility to notify Broad Adventure of any pre-existing medical condition and/or differently able that might reasonably be expected to increase the risk of you requiring medical attention, that may affect your ability to travel.
8. Children
8.1. A legal guardian must accompany all travelers under the age of eighteen. If you have a question regarding age and suitability, please contact us for further information.
9. Publicity
9.1. You agree that Broad Adventure may use images of you taken during the trip without recourse to you and compensation to you, for publicity and promotion purposes only through whatever medium it chooses.
10. Changes to your Holiday and Pricing
10.1. Traveling with Broad Adventure requires a degree of flexibility, good humor, and an understanding that modes of transport, accommodation, and itineraries may change, even after the tour has commenced, without prior notice due to local circumstances such as flight delay, cancellation or postponement due to notorious weather in the Himalayan regions or other unpredictable circumstances such as land-slides, road blockage, flood, snow, political unrest or delay arrival, etc. Broad Adventure is unable to refund any monies under the above circumstances due to prior supplier arrangements. If possible, we will always endeavor to provide you with an alternative or substitute trip of the same category.
10.2. Broad Adventure does not accept any responsibility for loss of employment, delays, or compensation resulting from situations beyond Broad Adventure's control.
10.3. Our holidays and tour/trek packages are based on twin shared accommodation. Thus, a single room supplement charge will be imposed on clients who do not have another tour participant to share accommodation with.
10.4. We reserve the right to revise pricing rates posted in our marketing material, under any circumstances, or under the pressure of various external factors that are further than our control, for instance, changes in the exchange rate, government action, etc.
11. Privacy
11.1. In order to collect information from you to make a booking through Broad Adventure we ask many questions to obtain the necessary permits etc. No private or personal information that you supply to us when making a booking will not be disclosed for any other purposes.
12. Risk & Liabilities
12.1. We are committed to providing the best services which will give you a once-in-a-lifetime journey in this connection, we perform our duties honestly & seriously to make your journey very smooth & pleasant. However, the entire programs in Nepal are conducted strictly under the rules and regulations of their own policies.
12.2. Therefore Broad Adventure and its related organization shall not be responsible for any changes in the itinerary due to unavoidable circumstances such as govt. restriction, Land slide, road blockage, flood, snow, political unrest, cancellation of flight, delay, sickness or accident, Any extra cost incurred thereof shall be borne by the clients on the spots.
13. Our Responsible Tourism Policy
At Broad Adventure, we are committed to promoting responsible and sustainable travel practices. We expect all our clients to adhere to the following terms and conditions to ensure a positive impact on the environment, local communities, and cultural heritage:
13.1 Environmental Responsibility:
13.1.1 Respect for Nature: Clients must respect and protect the natural environment. This includes not littering, avoiding damage to ecosystems, and following designated trails or paths during outdoor activities.
13.1.2 Conservation Efforts: Clients should support and participate in conservation initiatives, such as minimizing waste, conserving water and energy, and respecting wildlife habitats and protected areas.
13.1.3 Leave No Trace: Clients are expected to follow the principles of "Leave No Trace" by leaving natural areas as they found them, without causing harm or leaving any trace of their presence.
13.2 Cultural Sensitivity:
13.2.1 Respect for Local Culture: Clients must respect the customs, traditions, and cultural norms of the communities they visit. This includes appropriate attire, behavior, and interactions with local people, especially in sacred or culturally sensitive sites.
13.2.2 Cultural Exchanges: Clients should seek opportunities to engage with local communities in a respectful and meaningful way, promoting cultural understanding and supporting local economies by purchasing local products and services.
13.2.3 Photography and Privacy: Clients must respect the privacy and consent of individuals they encounter during their travels. It is important to obtain permission before taking photographs or sharing images of local people.
13.3 Social Responsibility:
13.3.1 Support Local Communities: Clients should prioritize supporting local businesses, such as accommodations, restaurants, and guides, to contribute positively to the local economy and foster sustainable development.
13.3.2 Responsible Souvenir Purchasing: Clients should avoid purchasing souvenirs made from endangered species, protected plants, or cultural artifacts. They should support local artisans and buy sustainable, locally produced items.
13.3.3 Responsible Volunteering: If clients engage in volunteer activities, they must ensure that they are aligned with ethical standards and benefit local communities in a sustainable and responsible manner.
14. Health and Safety:
14.1. Personal Health and Fitness: Clients are responsible for assessing their own health and fitness levels and ensuring that they are adequately prepared for the physical demands of their chosen activities. It is recommended to consult with a healthcare professional before participating in any adventure travel.
14.2. Compliance with Safety Instructions: Clients must follow the instructions and guidelines provided by Broad Adventures' guides and staff to ensure their personal safety and the safety of others during the trip.
14.3. Travel Insurance: It is mandatory for clients to have comprehensive travel insurance that covers adventure activities, medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and other relevant risks.
15. Compliance with Laws and Regulations:
Clients must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and requirements of the countries they visit, including those related to customs, immigration, health, and safety.
16. Complaints
If you have a complaint about the trip or tour, you must inform your tour leader or guide as soon as possible so they can take appropriate action. Complaints that are not reported to the tour leader or a responsible person in Kathmandu at the earliest opportunity will not be considered valid or actionable.
By engaging in our services, clients acknowledge and agree to these responsible travel terms and conditions. Failure to adhere to these terms may result in termination of services without refund and may disqualify clients from participating in future trips.
