Pourquoi le circuit du Manaslu ?

Aventure autour des 8e plus hautes montagnes du monde avec un panorama époustouflant depuis le haut Larke-La.

"Là où l'aventure vous mène autour du 8ème plus haut sommet du monde, le Mont Manaslu, avec des vues toujours passionnantes. Dans la haute vallée cachée du district de Gorkha, dans l'extrême nord de l'Himalaya, au centre-ouest du Népal. Des marches quotidiennes intéressantes avec des vues sur le Manaslu, le Ganesh, le Lamjung et la chaîne des Annapurnas. Une magnifique forêt de rhododendrons, un paradis au printemps, avec des fleurs sauvages en pleine floraison.Explorez les impressionnants villages agricoles du Manaslu enrichis par les anciennes cultures de la religion bouddhiste. Des vues glorieuses des hautes montagnes du début à la fin de cette merveilleuse aventure. Marchez des zones basses et chaudes aux collines plus fraîches et vers la zone arctique de glace et de glaciers. Programme du circuit

Day 1

Jour 1 : Arrivée à Katmandou par une compagnie aérienne internationale et transfert à l'hôtel.

A votre arrivée, vous êtes accueillis par notre personnel et notre guide et vous êtes transférés à vos hôtels respectifs dans le centre de Katmandou. Après avoir pris possession de vos belles chambres, rafraîchissez-vous de votre jambe de jais. Rejoignez ensuite les autres membres du trekking du circuit du Manaslu.


Notre guide / chef de file vous donnera des informations sur les hôtels, y compris les détails du trekking concernant les lodges locaux, les promenades, la vue, l'histoire et la culture. En même temps, il vous expliquera quelques choses importantes à faire et à ne pas faire pendant que vous êtes avec nous et que vous passez des moments agréables.


La soirée comprend un bon dîner dans un agréable restaurant népalais avec des programmes culturels locaux. N'oubliez pas que le lendemain matin, nous ferons une visite de Katmandou.

Day 2

Jour 2 : A Katmandou, visite facultative de la ville et préparation du trek.

Une journée libre est prévue pour vous rapprocher de la vie à Katmandou. Dans la matinée, une visite optionnelle vous permet de découvrir les sites les plus intéressants. Explorez les sites du patrimoine mondial de Katmandou pendant quelques heures et retournez à l'hôtel.


L'après-midi est libre et vous pouvez vous adonner à des activités individuelles, puis préparer vos bagages pour le prochain départ matinal vers le centre-ouest du Népal.

Day 3

Jour 3 : Machha Khola 930 m - 06 h.

The morning starts with a scenic and interesting drive beyond Kathmandu Valley towards a winding road. They drive past many farm villages and towns within warm areas following the Trisuli River to reach around Dhading district.


As the drive continues heading uphill and down within warmer areas to reach Arughat within the Gorkha area. From here, the rough dirt road follows the Budi-Gandaki River upstream to the overnight stop at Machhakhola. And, it’s where our walk towards higher Manaslu Valley begins.


This interesting place Machhakhola. Driving past smaller villages, it leads us toward the steep valley within a thick forest,. And then reach a wide valley opposite a large tributary stream that runs into the Budi-Gandaki River.

Day 4

Jour 4 : Trek jusqu'à Jagat 1 410 - 06 h.

À partir de là, vous rencontrerez de nombreux villages agricoles intéressants et des champs cultivés. La végétation change lentement en raison de l'altitude et du climat lors du trekking sur le circuit du Manaslu. Ensuite, notre marche matinale nous amène à traverser un ruisseau d'où vient le nom de Machha Khola. Puis nous remontons le courant vers le village de Khola-Bensi et Tatopani, un endroit où se trouve une source d'eau chaude naturelle.


La marche se poursuit et la vallée devient beaucoup plus étroite et escarpée. Le sentier passe alors sur la rive gauche de la rivière. Nous traversons ensuite un pont suspendu et, après une courte période de marche, nous entrons dans une parcelle de forêt. Nous arrivons ensuite à Doban, situé sur le haut plateau de la rivière Budigandaki.


Notre longue marche de la journée se poursuit à travers un vaste champ en direction d'un ruisseau et sur un pont suspendu. Ensuite, nous grimpons sur des sentiers élevés pour descendre dans une vallée ouverte de Yara Khola.


Nous continuons ensuite pendant une heure avant d'arriver à Jagat pour y passer la nuit. Jagat est un joli village agricole avec un mélange de tribus Magar, Chettries, quelques Newar, Brahman, Manaslu Bhotia (tribus d'apparence tibétaine).

Day 5

Jour 5 : Dyang 2 130 m via Philim 1 570 m - 06 h.

Le lendemain, descente de Jagat sur des marches en pierre jusqu'à une rivière, où le sentier grimpe jusqu'à une colline en terrasses à Saguleri. De là, on a une vue superbe sur le Sringi Himal qui culmine à 7 187 m d'altitude. Ensuite, la marche se poursuit avec des montées et des descentes jusqu'à un pont sur le Budi-Gandaki.


Après avoir traversé le pont, le sentier monte en lacets jusqu'au village de Philim où nous faisons une courte pause. Observez ce joli village agricole avec ses riches champs cultivés et ses terrasses.


Après une halte rafraîchissante à Philim, le sentier prend de l'altitude en passant par des villages agricoles éparpillés. Montez à travers les terrasses des champs dorés de blé et d'orge du circuit du Manaslu. Vous atteindrez ensuite une crête rocheuse couverte d'une forêt de bambous en direction d'Eklai Bhatti, qui signifie auberge solitaire. Aujourd'hui, quelques boutiques ont été construites.


Après un peu de repos, nous marchons vers les hauteurs du Manaslu, où notre route dévie vers le nord-ouest pour atteindre Dyang. Arrêt à Dyang pour la nuit. C'est un joli petit village de culture tibétaine.

Day 6

Jour 6 : Namrung 2 700 m - 05 h.

La marche du matin mène à une entrée dans des falaises abruptes, dans des sections dramatiques de la marche. Ensuite, l'itinéraire du circuit du Manaslu continue en passant par des villages de fermiers. Nous voyons des maisons et des terrains complètement transformés par la culture tibétaine à partir de Dyang.


De là, la marche mène à Bihi, un petit village dont les habitants sont d'origine tibétaine et ont une forte culture bouddhiste.

Les villageois de la région cultivent du blé noir, du blé, de l'orge et des pommes de terre comme cultures de base. Depuis que le trekking est devenu populaire dans la région, les épinards, les carottes et les choux sont également cultivés.


Après Bihi, la marche se poursuit pendant deux heures jusqu'à une vallée escarpée et pittoresque. Nous rencontrerons les murs de pierre de la prière Mani, alors que la marche mène à Ghap, un village avec un arrêt pour une éventuelle pause déjeuner.


Au fur et à mesure que l'altitude augmente, nous entrons dans une forêt alpine et de conifères. Le chemin serpente avec une montée abrupte, tandis que la vallée s'ouvre sur de vastes pâturages. Vous traversez ensuite un grand ruisseau qui s'écoule du glacier de Lidana.


Pendant la marche, profitez de vues magnifiques sur le Manaslu, dont le nom d'origine est Kutang (Manaslu) Himal range. Vous verrez également le Pang Phuchin (6 335 m), le Saula Himal (6 235 m) et de nombreux autres sommets sans nom dépassant les 6 000 m d'altitude.


Marche à partir d'ici avec une montée graduelle à mesure que l'altitude augmente à un rythme lent. Vous traversez un village de fermiers pour arriver à Namrung où vous passerez la nuit. Le village est également appelé Sho Namru.

Day 7

Jour 7 : Lo-Gaon 3 180 m -05 h.

Après une nuit à Namrung, la marche mène à des champs agricoles étendus dans la région de Yak, autour de la haute vallée du Manaslu. Les habitants de cette région travaillent dans l'agriculture. Vous vous dirigez ensuite vers une vallée haute et pittoresque jusqu'à Lo Gaon, un joli village où vous passez la nuit.


C'est l'un des plus beaux villages de la région du Manaslu. À Lo Gaon, vous pourrez admirer de près l'imposante face nord du Manaslu. Visitez également son monastère avec de nombreux chhorten et des murs Mani avec des vues sur le Ganesh Himal vers l'est.

Day 8

Jour 8 : Sama-Gaon 3 530 m -05 h.

La marche est beaucoup plus facile, mais en fonction de l'altitude, l'itinéraire mène à une montée lente et graduelle. Pendant ce temps, vous rencontrerez des vues constantes de la montagne avec le pic 29 devant vous. Après quelques heures de montée, vous atteindrez une parcelle de forêt puis le village de Shala, d'où vous aurez une excellente vue sur Phungi, Manaslu et Himal Chuli.


Après quelques heures de marche, vous atteindrez le village de Sama-Gaon, d'où vous aurez une vue superbe sur le Mont Manaslu.


Sama-Gaon est l'un des plus grands villages de la haute vallée du Manaslu. Les habitants sont pour la plupart des agriculteurs qui cultivent du blé noir et de l'orge, les principales cultures de ce terrain élevé et hostile. On y cultive également des pommes de terre et quelques légumes d'altitude. Les villageois de la haute vallée du Manaslu sont originaires du sud-ouest du Tibet depuis plus de 400 ans. Les coutumes et la culture de l'ancien héritage bouddhiste sont donc similaires à celles de son prédécesseur tibétain d'origine.


Les villageois locaux sont toujours actifs dans le commerce et le troc de part et d'autre de la frontière avec le Tibet. Il faut quelques jours pour atteindre la frontière entre le Népal et le Tibet.

Day 9

Jour 9 : A Sama-Gaon, journée de repos pour l'acclimatation et l'excursion locale.

Aujourd'hui, journée libre pour favoriser l'acclimatation avant de se diriger vers le haut col de Larke-La. Vous explorerez les environs de Sama-Gaon, dont les maisons sont décorées dans le style tibétain et qui offrent une vue imprenable sur les sommets. Vous pourrez visiter l'ancien monastère du bouddhisme tibétain de ce village.

Day 10

Jour 10 : Trek jusqu'à Samdo 3 690 m - 05 h.

Après une merveilleuse journée de repos à Sama-Gaon, la marche dure quatre heures ou plus pour atteindre le dernier village de la région de Gorkha et Manaslu, Samdo. La marche du matin commence donc par une lente montée, car l'altitude augmente lentement dans un pays sec et aride. Marchez lentement avec de courtes pauses et profitez des vues magnifiques sur les sommets et les paysages dramatiques environnants.


Vous atteignez ensuite le village de Samdo par une courte montée sur un petit plateau plat. Ce dernier village comprend plus de cinquante maisons abritant deux cents villageois dans ce pays aride et aride.

Day 11

Jour 11 : Larke Phedi / Dharama-Shala 4 470 m - 04 h.

En quittant le dernier village de la vallée pittoresque du Manaslu, la marche se poursuit jusqu'à la fin de la région du Manaslu. Vous pourrez ainsi admirer des vues incroyables sur les pics enneigés, notamment le mont Manaslu, 8e plus haut sommet du monde avec ses 8 163 mètres.


En continuant la marche, vous traversez quelques ruisseaux glacés pour atteindre Larke Phedi, où phedi signifie le bas du col, également appelé Dharmasala (maison de repos des voyageurs / ombre). Autrefois, ce lieu était également connu sous le nom de Larkey Bazaar, car le commerce et le troc avaient lieu entre les marchands et les habitants de Gorkha-Manaslu-Manang et les Tibétains dans cet endroit isolé.


A Larke Phedi, vous aurez du temps libre dans l'après-midi pour faire de courtes promenades et vous préparer à la longue ascension du lendemain matin. La journée se termine par une nuit à Larke Phedi.

Day 12

Jour 12 : Traversée du Larke La à 5 106 m et trekking jusqu'à Bhimthang à 3 790 m -07 h.

La marche matinale mène à une montée qui passe devant quelques huttes de Dharmasala. Marcher sur une moraine de roches et de blocs dans des conditions de neige peut s'avérer ardu pour trouver le bon chemin.


Cependant, nous suivons notre guide et passons devant l'ablation du glacier de Larke Nord, face aux vues de Cho Danda et de Larke Peak. Au fur et à mesure de la marche, la montée graduelle devient beaucoup plus raide pour atteindre le sommet du Larke-la, orné de milliers de drapeaux de prières bouddhistes colorés.


Du sommet, vous aurez un excellent panorama sur l'Himlung, le Cheo Himal, le Kang Guru et l'Annapurna II, ainsi que sur la série de pics du Manaslu.


Une longue descente mène à une vallée appelée Larcia, avec une marche supplémentaire sur la crête morainique jusqu'à Tambuche, à 3 900 m d'altitude. Ensuite, une courte marche mène à Bhimthang pour y passer la nuit après une longue et difficile journée de marche.


Bhimthang est un endroit charmant situé dans une large vallée verdoyante avec de nombreux lodges ornés de murs de prières Mani. La région est entourée de grands arbres verts, de rhododendrons, de pins et de chênes.

Day 13

Jour 13 : Trek jusqu'à Tilje 2 300 m - 06 h.

Le reste du voyage est beaucoup plus facile en descente, mais de longues marches avec de courtes montées sont nécessaires pour atteindre les villages de Gho et Tilje.Le matin, admirez les vues sur les sommets et marchez dans d'épaisses forêts alpines dans le circuit Trekking to Manaslu


Ensuite, vous vous dirigez vers de belles zones forestières pour atteindre une petite clairière au milieu de la forêt à Gho. Gho est un petit pâturage d'été pour les éleveurs de bovins et de yaks, ainsi qu'une zone d'installation temporaire. En raison des trekkeurs qui passent par cet itinéraire, quelques lodges ont été construits pour répondre aux besoins des voyageurs.


Après Gho, quelques heures de marche vous amènent à un village Tilje au bord de la rivière Marysangdi en furie, où vous passerez la nuit.

Day 14

Jour 14 : Trek jusqu'à Syange 1 100 m via Jagat et Dharapani 1 725 m -07 h.

Aujourd'hui sera la dernière marche de l'aventure, où la marche mène vers une grande descente le long de la rivière Marysangdi jusqu'au village de Tal et Chamje. Vous atteindrez ensuite un autre village, Jagat, dans la région de Lamjung.


De là, une descente raide mène à la vallée de la rivière au village de Syange pour la dernière nuit avant de repartir vers Katmandou ou d'autres destinations.

Day 15

Jour 15 : Retour à Katmandou -07 heures de voyage et transfert à l'hôtel.

Après avoir passé de merveilleux moments sur le circuit du Manaslu et avoir franchi le col de Larke-La, il est temps de rentrer. Le matin, vous embarquez dans un véhicule pour un voyage terrestre passionnant et intéressant qui vous ramène à Katmandou pour un dernier moment dans l'incroyable Népal et son Himalaya.

Booking with us:

After going through our norms and conditions you ask for information and queries if in doubt, all trip booking for Nepal destinations should be made by two months earlier minimum of two weeks times, so that we arrange necessary details well in advance to avoid disappointment like hotel-domestic airlines booking and as well chartering bus-coach or booking tourist bus tickets ahead before your arrival.

25% down payment which you can transfer to Bank Account in Kathmandu / Nepal rest of the trip cost to be made on arrival in Kathmandu before trek / tour departures, where applicable foreign currencies accepted like US $ – UK Pounds, and Euro or Chinese / Indian.

For Tibet and Bhutan at least minimum of one month booking ahead to arrange all logistic and entry permits for neighboring countries with 50% in advance.


Booking in Last Hour:

We accept your last hour booking in the eve of trip departure with 100% payment (07 days prior to tour starting date only for Nepal Trips, excluding trips Tibet, Bhutan and India not accepted as this requires at least 3 weeks in advance prior to trip departure for Nepal neighboring countries.

Trips Cancellation Policy:

On booking, some might be compelled to cancel the trip with various reasons from personal / domestic, medical, health, job or with some other situations, in this case where cancellation fees will be applied of 25% as cancellation charge, where you will be notified us or to our overseas agents with minimum of month in advance before trip departure.

60 % cancellation fee applied on 2 weeks to a month notice.

No refund on last minute or no show situation.

If clients has to return or break from the tour, trekking / or any other trips earlier than proposed itinerary days due to medical / physical or personal reasons clients has to borne his / her own expenses on route of trekking and at hotel in Kathmandu or in any other last main cities before you departure for home.

There are no refunds, if the company has to reroute to other areas due to unavoidable circumstances and from bad weather.

If such conditions arise company holds the right and providing you a hassle free adventure holidays with enjoyable time.

Clients’ Responsibility:

A tour / trekking guide representing our company holds all authority during treks and tours. If one behave badly or commit any unlawful act, where you will be compelled to leave the tour / treks. No refund will be made in such condition.

NEPAL VISA & PASSPORT CONDITION:

All clients are requested to have a valid passport with at least six months validity from the return date. Nepal visas can be obtained from the Nepal Consulate or Embassy in your country or upon arrival in Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport.  The costs of Nepalese visas are sole / own responsibility of clients.

CANCELLATION & BOOKING CHANGES FOR BHUTAN:

01: Required minimum of 30 days for cancellation notice prior to trip departure and it must be in written form, such notice will be implied from the day the note is received. Cancellation shall be valid after the company approval on receiving the documentation. The Trip shall then be termed as cancelled and then 50% of the trip amount would be deducted from the advance paid as cancellation charge.

02: There will be no refunds if a passenger cancels the trip or leaves a trip for any reason whatsoever, either voluntarily, involuntarily or if you commit any unlawful act after the trip has commenced. We will make no refunds for any meals, accommodation or services not used.

03: On the eve of trip departure if you are prevented in joining the chosen tour, unfortunately there is no refund regarding this, transfer or postponing options are available as the Bhutanese Government has strict Tourism act and policies.

BHUTAN VISAS & PASSPORT CONDITIONS:

All clients requested to have a valid passport with at least 6 months validity from return date. For Bhutan visas you need to send your passport details to Destination Holidays for visa applications at least 45 days prior to the fix departure date.

TIBET CANCELLATION & BOOKING CHANGES:

01: As per the company rules, there will be no refund to clients with less than 20 days notice given to us, on or before Trip departure and if a clients leaves the trip earlier for due to personal or medical reason whatsoever, either voluntarily or involuntarily and if committed any unlawful act after the trip has commenced. Then the company is compelled to make no refunds for any meals, accommodation or services not used.

02: If client require any changes from the chosen original tour, the person who have booked the tour must submit a written document with any changes required. Then we will make every effort after the notification, but the changes cannot be guaranteed.

03: If you are compelled to cancel from travelling on the tour by genuine reason or circumstances, for example (without restriction) due to death, injury or any serious illness of the person, close relative or friends, redundancy or jury service, in this case one may postpone or transfer your booking to another close person, as long or provided they meet all the requirements relating to that trip. You are requested to provide proof of why you were unable to travel at the time and need to change your booking.

NEPAL / TIBET VISAS & PASSPORT CONDITION:

All clients are requested to have a valid passport with at least six months validity from the return date. Nepal visas can be obtained from the Nepal Consulate or Embassy in your country or upon arrival in Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport.  The costs of Nepalese visas are sole responsibility of clients.

As you are unable to obtain visas to Tibet you need to send your passport details to Destination Holidays for visa applications to this country, we require this information at least three weeks prior to departure.

HEALTH & FITNESS:

All Treks and Tours requires where one should be in sound health and good level of fitness before signing trip with us, client requires should with your Doctor or Physician regarding your health and fitness before the trip departures to Himalayan destinations.

It’s solely client’s responsibility to inform Eco Holidays Nepal of any pre-existing medical condition or disability that might reasonably be expected to increase the risk of your required medical attention, which may affect your capability to travel on the trips booked with us.

CHILDREN:

An authorized guardian by the parents must accompany all travelers under the age of sixteen. If you have any queries regarding age and suitability, please contact us for further information.

PUBLICITY:

Request to allow Eco Holidays Nepal to use pictures, snaps or images of you taken during the trip without being informed and as well without compensation, for company promotion and advertising purpose only through whatever medium takes place.

CHANGES TO YOUR HOLIDAY AND PRICING:

Travelling with us requires a degree of flexibility, positive attitude good humor and understanding where mode of transport, accommodation and itineraries may change, even after the tour has commenced, without prior notice due to local circumstances such as flight delay, cancellation or postponement, road block due to riots and political crises.

WEATHER:

Himalayan regions or other unpredictable circumstances such as land-slides, road blockage, flood, snow, political unrest or delay arrival etc. Eco Holidays Nepal is unable to refund any payment under the above circumstances due to prior supplier arrangements. If possible we will always endeavor to provide you an alternative or substitute trip of same category.

Eco Holidays Nepal does not accept any responsibility for loss on employment, delays or compensation resulting from situations beyond our control.

Our holidays, tour / trek packages, are based on twin share accommodation. Thus, single room supplement charge will be imposed to clients who do not have another tour participant to share accommodation with.

We reserve the right to revise pricing rates posted in our marketing material, under any circumstances, or on the pressure of various external factors that are further than our control, for instance changes in exchange rate, government action etc.

PRIVACY:

In order to gather information from you to make a booking through Eco Holidays Nepal  Destination, may ask many questions to obtain necessary permits etc. No private or personal information that you supply to us when making a booking will be disclosed for any other purposes.

Weather is another factor that directly impact on the journey. Hence, patience and positive in mind, enthusiasm and proper preparation before hand is must in taking part around third world countries.

The best thing is to take as it comes and think positively, then you will enjoy the holiday with us.

Travel Insurance:

You must have complete travel insurance package against medical, travel for natural calamity, helicopter evacuation, personal accident, trip cancellation etc. This is strongly suggested to all our respected clients.

Tour Amendment:

To make alterations of any trek / tour itinerary, prior notice is requested.

You are advised to stay in touch with us thus, but occasionally, you may be obliged to do so en route under certain circumstance for instance bad weather etc.

Your personal belongings:

On any account, we are not responsible for any loss or damage of your baggage / luggage or property even when it is shouldered by Eco Holiday Nepal  porters, yaks-ponies or vehicles.

That means your personal possessions; luggage might be at your risk at the times, and however our trip escorts and guides will provide necessary safety precautions that this does not arise while with us.

Papers & Documents:

All necessary documents should be presented in sequence for example to issue visa, obtain necessary permits etc. We are not accountable in case of any trip formality not completed in time before the trip departure on the absence of essential papers and documents.

Risk & Responsibility:

Assuring your complete safety and satisfaction which is our main responsibility and concern, we therefore carry out our service sincerely & earnestly ensuring a hassle free holiday.

Nevertheless, unless stated otherwise, trip may change under uncertain and inherent circumstances such as land-slides, road block, floods, heavy snow, political unrest, cancellation of flight, delay arrival, sickness or accidents etc. Any extra cost incurring there is your personal responsibility and should be borne on the spot.

Trek / Tour Grades information:

Leisure tours or walking trips:

For any physically fit of all ages with sound health, these trips involves short walking days of few hours and more of tour with scenic drives at places of interest.  The whole trip goes from 4-5 to 8 days on trek or scenic tour.

On rafting for a day or two days.

Moderate Trips:

For any physically fit of all ages that have done normal walk and with sound health. These trips involves few ups and down and the length of treks will be from 4-5 hours of walk every day with plenty of break in between. The whole trip goes from 2-5 to 8 days.

Adventurous Trips:

For physically fit person of all ages with sound health who have done moderate to vigorous walk or activity before or at present. These kind of treks involves long ups and down and the length of treks will be from 6-7 hours of walk every day with break in between. The whole trip goes from 10 to 20 days in the high altitude. On Rafting it involves river expedition for 7 -10 days.
