Itinéraire

Le circuit de l'Annapurna est un trek classique dans l'Himalaya au Népal. Combinant tous les éléments qui en font un trek classique, le circuit de l'Annapurna est épique car vous pourrez admirer des paysages de haute montagne époustouflants, de magnifiques fermes et villages de plaine, une diversité culturelle et, pour couronner le tout, un passage de col stimulant pour tous les amateurs d'aventure, le circuit de l'Annapurna est une aventure exceptionnelle pour les voyageurs ambitieux.

Le trek commence après une journée de tourisme dans les rues colorées et animées de Katmandou. Les randonneurs suivront une route pittoresque en direction de la vallée de Marsyangdi, où l'itinéraire commencera officiellement par un voyage sur le versant nord du massif de l'Annapurna. Tout au long du trek, les voyageurs ont l'occasion d'admirer les panoramas époustouflants de géants tels que le Manaslu et les Annapurnas.

Les randonneurs atteindront le point culminant de leur voyage après une ascension exigeante du Thorung La (5416 m) sur le versant nord des Annapurnas. La récompense de cette ascension est une vue remarquable sur les pics enneigés de l'Himalaya.

Après avoir franchi le col, les randonneurs descendent dans la profonde vallée de la Kali Gadaki. Au pied du col, la vallée abrite une étonnante collection de temples situés à Muktinath.

Les randonneurs prennent ensuite un vol panoramique de Jomsom à Pokhara, où ils peuvent s'amuser dans l'atmosphère apaisante du bord du lac, tout en observant les vues époustouflantes des Annapurnas qui se reflètent dans les eaux de Phewa Tal.

Programme du circuit

Day 1

Jour 1 : Arrivée à Katmandou

Welcome to the city of temples and the country of Himalayas. We will happily welcome you at the only international airport of Nepal;Tribhuvan International Airport. Our airport representative will be waiting for your arrival with your name on the paper outside the airport terminal. From there you will be transferred to the Hotel by a air conditioned private vehicle. Overnight at hotel

Day 2

Jour 2 : Route vers Besisahar (830 m) / 7 heures

It is a long way through Nepal on roads both tarred and earth-surfaced, but you won’t be disappointed. You will discover the beautiful countryside of Nepal. Lush greeneries, villages, farms, rivers, lifestyle of local people in the streets and the panoramic view on the Himalaya range.

Day 3

Jour 3 : Route vers Jagat (1 330 m) Trek vers Chamje (1 400 m) / 5 heures

We will reach Jagat with a local jeep through river, greeneries, local villages and beautiful mountain scenery. A steep and slippery trail runs up and down through paddy fields, passing through tiny Tibetan villages, the trail ascends through the rhododendron forest to Jagat (1330 m). From here, we will start our trek in the beautiful Annapurna range and be immerge by the Himalayan culture.

Day 4

Jour 4 : Trek vers Bagarchhap (2 160 m) / 5 heures

Our day begins with the rocky trail following the Marsyandi Rivers steadily uphill to Tal (the first village in the Manang district). The journey continues up and down through other village before to reach our first overnight stop. Bagarchhap is a typical Tibetan village with a chorten at the entrance and surrounded by apple Orchards and maize fields.

Day 5

Jour 5 : Trek vers Chame (2 630 m) / 5 heures

Along the way, we will see waterfalls of melted snow, cross icy rivers, and broad plains. Once upon arrival you will be reward by the beautiful view on the Annapurna and you could enjoy a relaxing bath in natural hot springs.

Day 6

Jour 6 : Trek vers Pisang (3 300 m) / 5 heures

There’s a long, peasant and mostly level walk in forests. The pine-scented trail rounds a bend to reveal the first views of dramatic PaungdaDanda rock face, a tremendous curve slab of rock. The trail follows through the river valley with good views along the way of Pisang peak and Annapurna II at Pisang.Pisang marks the beginning of the region upper portion of the Manang district.

Day 7

Jour 7 : Trekking jusqu'à Manang (3 540 m) / 6 - 7 heures

From upper Pisang the high trail enters pine grooves to reveal views of the small turquoise lake. The trail does a dogleg through the charming village, passing with views of painted Mandalas and dragon mouth spouts. Hike through the fields of grazing yak and wide variety of crops. This large Tibetan settlement provides good views of Annapurna II/III/IV, Gangapurna and Tarkekang.

Day 8

Jour 8 : Journée d'acclimatation à Manang (3 540 m)

This day you spend a second night in the Manang region to acclimatize to the higher elevations you will encounter towards the Thoroung La. Take advice from Himalayan Rescue Association and observe the spectacular views of the Himalaya nearby. There are fine views of the milky blue glacier lake at the foot of spectacular Gangapurna icefall and traditional stone buildings.

Day 9

Jour 9 : Trek vers Yak Kharka (4 000 m) / 5 heures

From Manang village, the trail crosses a stream, climbs to a village of Tenkiand continues to climb out of the Marshyangdi Valley turning northwest up the valley of JarsangKhola. On the way we will pass few pastures, a scrub of juniper trees and through villages and meadows where horses and yaks graze. After crossing a small river on a wooden bridge, we will see an ancient old Mani wall before to reach Yak Kharka.

Day 10

Jour 10 : Trek vers Thorung Phedi (4 400 m) / 2 heures

The trail climbs along the east bank of the JarsangKhola, then descends and crosses the stream on a wooden bridge at 4310m. Blue sheep, and even snow capped leopards, sometimes magically appears. The crow like bird choughs, large lamer geiers and Himalayan griffons circles you overhead.

Day 11

Jour 11 : Trek vers Muktinath via le col de Thorung La (5416 m) / 6 - 8 heures

The trail becomes steep immediately after leaving ThorungPhedi, switch backing up moraines and following rocky ridges as it ascends to the Thorung La pass (5416m). You can see the long Great Barrier ridge, Tibet like region of Manang, as well as the Annapurnas, Gangapurna and the heavily glaciated peak of Khatung Kang (6484m). The trail descends crossing meadows steeply down to Muktinath. One of the most important pilgrimage sites for both Hindus and Buddhists.

Day 12

Jour 12 : Trek vers Jomson (2 670 m) / 6 heures

Today, it will be our last trekking day. 

Day 13

Jour 13 : Vol vers Pokhara / 30 minutes

Morning fly to Pokhara from Jomsom, it takes just 35 minutes. Free time in the afternoon.

Day 14

Jour 14 : Route vers Katmandou (6 - 7 heures)

As on the first way you could enjoy the beauty of the countryside, green hills and thundering rivers. The bus will drop you to your hotel. It will be a free time if you want to visit the surrounding area.

Day 15

Jour 15 : Vol de retour

Today as per your international flight time, keep your air ticket and your passport handy. Our office staff will take you to the airport for your final departure from this amazing country, Nepal.

You are required to pay a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total amount per person per trip for your booking to be confirmed.

PASSPORT & VISAS

All clients must have a valid passport with at least 6 months validity from return date to travel Nepal, Tibet & Bhutan. Nepalese visas can be obtained from the Nepalese Consulate in your country or upon arrival in Kathmandu Airport. Nepalese visas costs are the sole responsibility of clients.

As you are unable to obtain visas to Bhutan & Tibet you need to send your passport details to Asian Journey for visa applications at least 30 days prior to the departure date.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

Travel insurance is compulsory for all Clients undertaking any tour. It should provide adequate protection for the full duration of the tour to cover personal injury, death, medical expenses, repatriation expenses, helicopter rescue, air ambulance and adequate cover for baggage.

FLIGHT DELAY OR CANCELLATION

There is the possibility of a flight delay or postpone due to bad weather in the Himalayan regions which could be happened in particular airports, Lukla Airport in Everest region Jomsom airport in Mustang, Juphal Airport in Dolpa, Simikot and Jumla region airports.In this case, you’re highly advised to reserve extra days to prepare for some delays and avoid frustrating consequence. In case of flight cancellation pre-tour/post-tour, you need to meet your accommodation and food costs yourself.

RIGHTS TO AMEND THE ITINERARY IF REQUIRED

Tour once commenced will strictly go as per the itinerary finalized. In case of events and circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to change all or parts of the contents of the itinerary for safety and well being of our esteemed passengers.

HEALTH & FITNESS

All our tours and treks require a level of fitness, there for you should always check with your local GP regarding your health and fitness before you travel. It’s the client’s responsibility to notify Asian Journey of any pre-existing medical condition and/or disability that might reasonably be expected to increase the risk of you required medical attention, that may affect your ability to travel.

INJURIES AND EVACUATION

Asian Journeys would not be liable for any injury/health conditions/emotional or other conditions suffered by the client during the trip. Similarly, our package cost does not include any personal insurance. Hence, we advise the clients to take adequate insurance packages, including medical emergencies and evacuation by Helicopter.

RISK & LIABILITIES

We are committed to providing the best services which will give you a “once in a lifetime” journey. So, we perform our duties honestly and seriously to achieve our commitment. However, the entire program is conducted strictly under the rules and regulation of their own policies.

Therefore, Asian Journey and its related organization shall not be responsible for any changes in the itinerary due to unavoidable circumstances such as government restriction, notorious weather, road blockage, political unrest, cancellation of flight, delay, sickness or accident, any natural disaster (earthquake, landslide, flood, snowfall, avalanche, etc) or other things beyond our control. But we will try our best to take you to safety from any kind of danger. Any extra cost incurring thereof shall be borne by the clients on the spot.

INCOMPLETE OR EARLY COMPLETE TRIP

No refund will be made to clients who drop out from the journey regardless of whatever portions remain unused in the itinerary and who finished the trip earlier days than mentioned in the itinerary.

COMPLAINTS

Should you have a complaint about the trip or tour you must make it known to a tour leader or guide at the earliest opportunity who will take the appropriate action.
