Este trekking te permite disfrutar de las hermosas vistas de las montañas y del rico patrimonio cultural de la región de los Annapurnas, en el oeste de Nepal.
Los senderos te llevarán al corazón de la comunidad agrícola mientras tienes como telón de fondo una de las montañas más altas del mundo.
Este viaje también te permitirá conocer los hermosos bosques de rododendros, los templos sagrados hindúes y los lagos con impresionantes vistas del Annapurna, tan cerca de ti.
Además, se trata de un viaje basado en la comunidad, en el que te alojarás en albergues/hoteles gestionados por la comunidad, donde podrás interactuar con los lugareños.
A tu llegada a Katmandú, la Guía Femenina de Vacaciones se encargará de recogerte en el aeropuerto. A continuación, te trasladaremos a nuestro hotel. Por la tarde, podrás descansar en la habitación del hotel. Después de desayunar, vamos a empezar nuestro recorrido turístico visitando los lugares de Katmandú declarados Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO. La Plaza Durbar de Katmandú destaca el arte y la arquitectura nepaleses en su máxima expresión. La arquitectura es típica de la dinastía Malla, que gobernó Nepal del siglo XII al XVIII. El templo de Swayambhunath es popular entre los extranjeros como el Templo de los Monos, debido a la gran población de monos que reside en la zona. El templo de Pashupatinath está situado a orillas del río Bagmati y es uno de los principales templos del Señor Shiva. La estupa de Boudhanath es una de las mayores estupas del sur de Asia, construida en la antigua ruta comercial hacia el Tíbet.

Conduce hasta el distrito de Syangja, situado al oeste del valle de Katmandú. El distrito también ha ganado popularidad recientemente por el cultivo de cítricos. Aquí podrás relacionarte con los agricultores y observar sus técnicas de cultivo. Por la tarde, conduce hasta Pokhara y durante todo el trayecto disfruta del hermoso paisaje de las colinas. Hoy visita el Templo de Galeshwor, que se alza sobre una única roca y está dedicado al Dios hindú, el Señor Shiva. A continuación, camina hasta Banskharka siguiendo el sendero del Annapurna. Bansakharka es un pintoresco pueblo habitado por la comunidad magar de Nepal. Esta aldea está rodeada de hermosos bosques de rododendros y por ella fluyen arroyos. El pueblo ha vivido durante cientos de años de la producción de mandarinas, naranjas y miel, que podrás conocer y probar durante tu visita. Alójate en un alojamiento gestionado por la comunidad y disfruta de la deliciosa comida local. Pasa la noche en Banskharka.

Hoy será un día lleno de diversión con muchas actividades. Pasearemos por las granjas de cítricos conociendo a los granjeros y observando sus prácticas agrícolas, mientras interactuamos con los gurkhas británicos retirados. También habrá un programa cultural por la noche en el que podrás disfrutar de las danzas locales con deliciosa y auténtica comida rural nepalí. Pasa la noche en Banskharka.

Emprende hoy una excursión de medio día a Dandakateri y disfruta de las hermosas cordilleras del Annapurna y el Dhaulagiri, que se encuentran entre las montañas más altas del Himalaya. Mientras disfrutamos de las increíbles vistas de las montañas, también interactuaremos con los lugareños de la zona. Pasaremos la noche en Banskharka.

Hoy tenemos dos opciones de ruta. Podemos seguir un sendero que pasa por el pueblo de Banmare o caminar por los densos bosques de pinos y rododendros de gran altitud. Si sigues la primera ruta, estarás rodeado de un hermoso paisaje de colinas con terrazas de bancales que nos saludan en cada recodo. Sin embargo, si sigues la segunda ruta, puede que tengas suerte y veas algún ciervo salvaje y variedades de aves y mariposas por el camino. De cualquier forma, llegaremos a la aldea de Nagi a última hora de la tarde. Esta noche te espera otro espectáculo cultural, mientras disfrutas de comida casera y licor de mijo y pasas la noche en un alojamiento gestionado por la comunidad en Nagi.

Nangi es un pueblo situado a 2.330 metros de altura en un valle rodeado de bosques sagrados que albergan varios templos hindúes. Durante el recorrido por el pueblo, serás testigo de un sistema de agricultura de subsistencia a gran altitud, junto con algunas industrias artesanales como la fabricación a mano de papel nepalí, el cultivo de setas Sitka y la producción de semillas vegetales. Este viaje también te familiarizará con el rico patrimonio cultural de la zona. Pasa la noche en la aldea de Nagi.

Disfruta del impresionante paisaje montañoso mientras subes la ladera por un sendero empedrado que conduce a Mahare Danda, situado a 3330 metros de altitud. De nuevo pasarás la noche en un albergue gestionado por la comunidad y te deleitarás con una deliciosa cena. Pasarás la noche en Mahare Danda.

Mahare Danda se alza sobre profundos desfiladeros y valles al borde de una escarpada cresta y ofrece vistas prístinas de los Annapurnas, el Dhaulagiri y el Machhapuchhre. Hoy te despides de este lugar y emprendes una caminata cuesta abajo desde Mahare Danda hasta Nangi. Pasarás la noche en Nagi.

Hoy salimos hacia Pokhara pasando por Mallaj Lekhphant, en el distrito de Parbat. Disfruta de un hermoso paisaje de colinas por el camino y siéntate a almorzar en Ratamata. A continuación, participarás en un programa de interacción de 2/3 horas de duración con profesores y alumnos de la Escuela Secundaria Superior Gram Prakash. Pasa la noche en Pokhara.

Por la mañana temprano sal hacia Sarangkot, una colina que domina las cordilleras del Annapurna y del Dhaulagiri en el norte y la ciudad de Pokhara en el sur. Desde aquí, podrás contemplar unas vistas increíbles del sol cuando se eleva en el poderoso Himalaya.
Después regresa a Pokhara y sigue recorriendo los lugares emblemáticos de la ciudad. La Cascada Davis es una cascada única que desemboca directamente en un canal estrecho y profundo que no tiene fin. La Cueva de Shiva se encuentra cerca de la Cascada Davis y alberga un santuario dedicado al Señor Shiva, uno de los principales dioses hindúes.
También navegaremos por el lago Phewa, el mayor de Pokhara, y visitaremos el templo Bindyabasini, situado en el centro del lago.
Visita el famoso Museo Internacional de la Montaña (IMM) que registra, documenta y relata el desarrollo pasado y presente de las actividades montañeras en el mundo y en el Himalaya en particular.
También puedes recorrer el campo de refugiados tibetanos y ser testigo de cómo los refugiados se mantienen ocupados produciendo y comerciando con alfombras de lana y otros artículos de artesanía. Pasa la noche en Pokhara.

Después de desayunar, nos despedimos de la hermosa silueta septentrional de Pokhara y nos dirigimos hacia Katmandú. Será un viaje por las orillas del río con maravillosas vistas de las colinas y del estilo de vida rural nepalí.
Tras llegar a Katmandú, descansa o haz algunas compras de recuerdos. Por la noche tendremos una cena de despedida para celebrar la finalización con éxito de nuestro viaje. Pasaremos la noche en Katmandú.

Terms and Condition
1. HOW TO BOOK:
Your contract will be with Serene Himalaya Treks and expedition. To book any of our trips, please send the completed booking form along with the copy of your passport and 20% of the total amount as a non refundable booking deposit per person per trip.
2. PAYMENT:
The balance of the trip price is payable on your arrival in Nepal/Tibet/Bhutan/India. If final payment is not received 2 days after your arrival, cancellation conditions will apply as per the clause below. Final trip documentation will be released upon full trip payment.
3. TRIP AMENDMENTS/TRANSFERS:
AMENDMENT: If you wish to make amendments to your trip arrangements, you must notify SERENE HIMALAYA TREKS AND EXPEDITION in writing. Each amendment to your trip arrangements will incur a $30 administration fee and you will be liable for any increase in airfares or operational expenses occasioned by the amendment.
TRANSFER: If you wish to transfer from one tour to another, you must notify SERENE HIMALAYA TREKS AND EXPEDITION in writing. Once SERENE HIMALAYA TREKS AND EXPEDITION receives your notice the transfer will take effect and the following transfer charges will apply:
If your notice is received more than 60 days prior to your original departure date, a $100 transfer fee will apply. In addition, any increase in airfares or operational services will be payable by you: or
If your notice is received within 60 days prior to your original departure date, charges will be as per cancellation clause.
It may not be possible to make any transfers of the bookings within 10 days of departure. Fees for the late changes will vary from a minimum of USD 50 and above per booking, if the changes can be made.
4. CANCELLATIONS:
If you wish to cancel your tour, you must notify Serene Himalaya Treks and Expedition
in writing. Once Serene Himalaya Treks and Expedition
receives your notice, cancellation will take effect subject to the following:
If cancellation takes place more than 60 days prior to your departure date, your full deposit will be forfeited.
If cancellation takes place between 60 and 7 days prior to your departure date, 50% of the tour price will be forfeited.
If cancellation takes place less than 7 days prior to your departure date, 100% of the tour price will be forfeited.
No refunds are made if you voluntarily leave a trip for any reason after the trip starts and refunds will be at the discretion of SERENE HIMALAYA TREKS AND EXPEDITION if you are involuntarily forced to leave a trip for any reason. No refunds will be made for accommodation, transport, sightseeing, meals or any services not used
5. CANCELLATION DUE TO TRIP BOOKING NUMBERS:
Serene Himalaya Treks and Expedition
reserves the right to cancel any trip before it is guaranteed to run. A trip is guaranteed to run once it has two fully paid travelers, unless minimum number stated otherwise. In this case you are entitled to take an alternative trip of the same value without charge or you will be given a full refund of the trip price paid by you. You will not be entitled to claim any additional amounts or seek any compensation for any injury, loss, expenses or damage or for any loss of time or inconvenience which may result from such cancellation. A trip is guaranteed to run once it has two fully paid travelers, unless minimum number stated otherwise.
6. ROUTE CHANGES, POSTPONEMENT, CANCELLATION OR DELAY:
SERENE HIMALAYA TREKS AND EXPEDITION reserves the right to change the route, postpone, cancel or delay the trip due to reasons beyond its control such as natural disasters, flight cancellations, strikes, wars, riots, sickness, quarantine, government intervention, weather conditions etc. In this case SERENE HIMALAYA TREKS AND EXPEDITION will refund the trip price only.
If cancellation takes place more than 60 days prior to your departure date, your full deposit will be forfeited.
If cancellation takes place between 60 and 7 days prior to your departure date, 50% of the tour price will be forfeited.
If cancellation takes place less than 7 days prior to your departure date, 100% of the tour price will be forfeited.
7. INSURANCE:
It is a condition of booking a trip with SERENE HIMALAYA TREKS AND EXPEDITION. Your insurance must include cover for; medical expenses, injury, death, loss of baggage and personal items and cancellation and curtailment, cost of repatriation and evacuation via whatever means necessary including by helicopter/air ambulance. If, in the event of an emergency medical rescue or evacuation from a trip of you the client, either by foot, helicopter or otherwise the responsibility for the payment of such costs will lie with the client. Any subsequent costs incurred for expenses such as hotels, food, transport etc shall be borne by the client. You must ensure that your insurance covers all of the activities you expect to participate in your trip. You must provide evidence to SERENE HIMALAYA TREKS AND EXPEDITION upon your arrival. If you cannot provide the evidence of insurance you will be required to take out a suitable policy at that time. If you are not insured for any reason, you will not be allowed to continue with your trip and will not be entitled to any refund for services not provided.
8. PASSPORTS, VISAS AND IMMIGRATION REQUIREMENTS:
Your specific passport and visa requirements, and other immigration requirements are your responsibility and you should confirm these with the relevant Embassies and/or Consulates. Please ensure your passport is valid for 6 months beyond the duration of the trip. We do not accept any responsibility if you cannot travel because you have not complied with any passport, visa or immigration requirements. In some cases, full and correct passport information is required when a booking is submitted to us in order that we can obtain necessary tickets, permits and visas on your behalf. If you do not supply the appropriate and correct information when you make your booking, we will not be able to make the necessary bookings on your behalf and cannot be held responsible.
9. RESPONSIBILITY:
Your booking is accepted on the understanding that you realise and accept the risks and hazards potentially involved in adventure holidays and that you are mentally and physically capable of undertaking your chosen trip. You must tell us if you have an existing medical condition or disability that might affect your holiday or other group members enjoyment of it, before you book your holiday. If, in our reasonable opinion, your chosen holiday is not suitable for your medical condition or disability we reserve the right to refuse your booking. We reserve the right to cancel the contract if medical problems are discovered and, in this eventuality, we will give a full refund but no compensation. You are responsible for bringing with you the proper clothing and equipment, which we advise you about in our trip information.
10. HEALTH & PHYSICAL FITNESS:
Trips take place in remote areas where there is little or no access to normal medical services or hospital facilities for serious problems. Evacuation, where necessary, can be prolonged, difficult and expensive. Medical and evacuation expenses will be your responsibility. SERENE HIMALAYA TREKS AND EXPEDITION reserves the right in its absolute discretion to refuse a participant the right to participate in a tour on medical or fitness grounds.
11. TRIP LEADER:
SERENE HIMALAYA TREKS AND EXPEDITION nominated trip leaders take their responsibilities seriously and if for any reason a nominated tour leader believes, in his or her absolute discretion, that you should not participate in the tour, before your departure, he/she may exclude you from the tour. In this event, you will be offered the option of taking another tour considered suitable for you or a full refund. If for any reason during a tour the nominated tour leader considers you should not participate further due to you committing an illegal act, or in the opinion of the nominated tour leader, your behaviour is causing or is likely to cause danger, distress or annoyance to others, or your fitness or health is inadequate, he or she may direct you not to continue and you must follow the nominated trip leader's instructions. In this case you will not be entitled to any refund.
12. JURISDICTION:
No employee, representative or agent of SERENE HIMALAYA TREKS AND EXPEDITION other than Company Head or Directors to vary these conditions. This agreement is governed by the laws of the Nepal Government.
13. IF YOU HAVE A COMPLAINT:
If you have a problem during your holiday, you must inform your trip leader who will endeavour to put things right.
14. PROMOTIONAL IMAGES:
Any likeness or image of you secured or taken on any of our trips may be used by the company without charge in all media (whether now existing or in the invented) for bona fide promotional materials of any kind, such as brochures, website slides, video shows and the internet.
