Nach Ihrer Ankunft in Kathmandu werden Sie von der Reiseleiterin Holiday vom Flughafen abgeholt. Anschließend werden Sie zu unserem Hotel gebracht. Nach dem Frühstück beginnen wir unsere Besichtigungstour mit dem Besuch der UNESCO-Welterbestätten in Kathmandu. Der Kathmandu Durbar Square zeigt nepalesische Kunst und Architektur von ihrer besten Seite. Die Architektur ist typisch für die Malla-Dynastie, die vom 12. bis 18. Jahrhundert über Nepal herrschte. Der Swayambhunath-Tempel ist bei Ausländern auch als Affentempel bekannt, da in der Gegend viele Affen leben. Der Pashupatinath-Tempel liegt am Ufer des Bagmati-Flusses und ist einer der Haupttempel von Lord Shiva. Die Boudhanath Stupa ist eine der größten Stupas in Südasien und wurde an der alten Handelsroute nach Tibet errichtet.

Fahren Sie in den Bezirk Syangja, der sich westlich des Kathmandu-Tals befindet. Der Bezirk hat in letzter Zeit auch für den Anbau von Zitrusfrüchten an Popularität gewonnen. Hier können Sie mit den Landwirten interagieren und deren Anbautechniken beobachten. Am Abend fahren Sie nach Pokhara und genießen während der gesamten Reise die wunderschöne Hügellandschaft. Heute besuchen Sie den Galeshwor-Tempel, der auf einem einzigen Felsen steht und dem hinduistischen Gott Lord Shiva geweiht ist. Gehen Sie dann nach Banskharka und folgen Sie dem Annapurna-Pfad. Bansakharka ist ein malerisches Dorf, das von der Magar-Gemeinde Nepal bewohnt wird. Dieses Dorf ist von wunderschönen Rhododendronwäldern und von Bächen umgeben. Das Dorf lebt seit Hunderten von Jahren von der Herstellung von Mandarinen, Orangen und Honig, die Sie während Ihres Besuchs kennenlernen und probieren können. Heute haben wir zwei Routenoptionen. Wir könnten entweder einem Pfad folgen, der durch das Dorf Banmare führt, oder in den dichten, hochgelegenen Kiefern- und Rhododendronwäldern spazieren gehen. Wenn Sie der ersten Route folgen, werden Sie von einer wunderschönen Hügellandschaft mit Bankterrassen umgeben sein, die uns in jeder Kurve begrüßen. Wenn Sie jedoch dem zweiten Weg folgen, haben Sie möglicherweise Glück und sehen auf dem ganzen Weg einige wilde Hirsche sowie verschiedene Vögel und Schmetterlinge. In jedem Fall erreichen wir das Dorf Nagi am späten Nachmittag. Heute Abend wartet eine weitere kulturelle Show auf Sie, während Sie lokal hergestelltes Essen und Hirselikör genießen und die Nacht in einer von der Gemeinde verwalteten Lodge in Nagi verbringen.

Nangi ist ein Dorf auf einer Höhe von 2330 Metern in einem Tal, das von heiligen Wäldern umgeben ist, in denen sich mehrere Hindu-Tempel befinden. Während einer Tour durch das Dorf können Sie das Subsistenzlandsystem in großer Höhe sowie einige Heimindustrien wie handgefertigte nepalesische Papiere, den Anbau von Sitka-Pilzen sowie die Produktion von Gemüsesaatgut erleben. Heute fahren wir über Mallaj Lekhphant im Bezirk Parbat nach Pokhara. Genießen Sie die wunderschöne hügelige Landschaft auf dem Weg und essen Sie im Ratamata zu Mittag. Anschließend nehmen Sie an einem 2/3 Stunden langen Interakationsprogramm mit Lehrern und Schülern der Gram Prakash Higher Secondary School teil. Über Nacht in Pokhara.

Am frühen Morgen fahren Sie nach Sarangkot, einem Hügel mit Blick auf die Annapurna und Dhaulagiri im Norden und die Stadt Pokhara im Süden. Von hier aus können Sie einen atemberaubenden Blick auf die Sonne genießen, die im mächtigen Himalaya aufgeht.
Dann kehren Sie nach Pokhara zurück und erkunden Sie die Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt. Davis Falls ist ein einzigartiger Wasserfall, der direkt in einen engen und tiefen Kanal fließt, der kein Ende hat. Die Shiva-Höhle befindet sich in der Nähe des Davis Falls und beherbergt einen Schrein, der Lord Shiva, einem primären hinduistischen Gott, gewidmet ist.
Wir fahren auch im Phewa Lake, dem größten See in Pokhara, Boot und besuchen den Bindyabasini-Tempel in der Mitte des Sees.
Besuchen Sie das berühmte International Mountain Museum (IMM), das die vergangene und gegenwärtige Entwicklung der Bergsteigeraktivitäten in der Welt und insbesondere im Himalaya aufzeichnet, dokumentiert und aufzeichnet.
Sie können auch das tibetische Flüchtlingslager besichtigen und erleben, wie sich die Flüchtlinge mit der Herstellung und dem Handel von Wollteppichen und anderen Handwerksgegenständen beschäftigen. Über Nacht in Pokhara.

Nach dem Frühstück verabschieden wir uns von der schönen nördlichen Skyline von Pokhara und fahren in Richtung Kathmandu. Dies ist eine Reise entlang des Flussufers mit herrlichem Blick auf die Hügel und den ländlichen nepalesischen Lebensstil.

Terms and Condition
1. HOW TO BOOK:
Your contract will be with Serene Himalaya Treks and expedition. To book any of our trips, please send the completed booking form along with the copy of your passport and 20% of the total amount as a non refundable booking deposit per person per trip.
2. PAYMENT:
The balance of the trip price is payable on your arrival in Nepal/Tibet/Bhutan/India. If final payment is not received 2 days after your arrival, cancellation conditions will apply as per the clause below. Final trip documentation will be released upon full trip payment.
3. TRIP AMENDMENTS/TRANSFERS:
AMENDMENT: If you wish to make amendments to your trip arrangements, you must notify SERENE HIMALAYA TREKS AND EXPEDITION in writing. Each amendment to your trip arrangements will incur a $30 administration fee and you will be liable for any increase in airfares or operational expenses occasioned by the amendment.
TRANSFER: If you wish to transfer from one tour to another, you must notify SERENE HIMALAYA TREKS AND EXPEDITION in writing. Once SERENE HIMALAYA TREKS AND EXPEDITION receives your notice the transfer will take effect and the following transfer charges will apply:
If your notice is received more than 60 days prior to your original departure date, a $100 transfer fee will apply. In addition, any increase in airfares or operational services will be payable by you: or
If your notice is received within 60 days prior to your original departure date, charges will be as per cancellation clause.
It may not be possible to make any transfers of the bookings within 10 days of departure. Fees for the late changes will vary from a minimum of USD 50 and above per booking, if the changes can be made.
4. CANCELLATIONS:
If you wish to cancel your tour, you must notify Serene Himalaya Treks and Expedition
in writing. Once Serene Himalaya Treks and Expedition
receives your notice, cancellation will take effect subject to the following:
If cancellation takes place more than 60 days prior to your departure date, your full deposit will be forfeited.
If cancellation takes place between 60 and 7 days prior to your departure date, 50% of the tour price will be forfeited.
If cancellation takes place less than 7 days prior to your departure date, 100% of the tour price will be forfeited.
No refunds are made if you voluntarily leave a trip for any reason after the trip starts and refunds will be at the discretion of SERENE HIMALAYA TREKS AND EXPEDITION if you are involuntarily forced to leave a trip for any reason. No refunds will be made for accommodation, transport, sightseeing, meals or any services not used
5. CANCELLATION DUE TO TRIP BOOKING NUMBERS:
Serene Himalaya Treks and Expedition
reserves the right to cancel any trip before it is guaranteed to run. A trip is guaranteed to run once it has two fully paid travelers, unless minimum number stated otherwise. In this case you are entitled to take an alternative trip of the same value without charge or you will be given a full refund of the trip price paid by you. You will not be entitled to claim any additional amounts or seek any compensation for any injury, loss, expenses or damage or for any loss of time or inconvenience which may result from such cancellation. A trip is guaranteed to run once it has two fully paid travelers, unless minimum number stated otherwise.
6. ROUTE CHANGES, POSTPONEMENT, CANCELLATION OR DELAY:
SERENE HIMALAYA TREKS AND EXPEDITION reserves the right to change the route, postpone, cancel or delay the trip due to reasons beyond its control such as natural disasters, flight cancellations, strikes, wars, riots, sickness, quarantine, government intervention, weather conditions etc. In this case SERENE HIMALAYA TREKS AND EXPEDITION will refund the trip price only.
If cancellation takes place more than 60 days prior to your departure date, your full deposit will be forfeited.
If cancellation takes place between 60 and 7 days prior to your departure date, 50% of the tour price will be forfeited.
If cancellation takes place less than 7 days prior to your departure date, 100% of the tour price will be forfeited.
7. INSURANCE:
It is a condition of booking a trip with SERENE HIMALAYA TREKS AND EXPEDITION. Your insurance must include cover for; medical expenses, injury, death, loss of baggage and personal items and cancellation and curtailment, cost of repatriation and evacuation via whatever means necessary including by helicopter/air ambulance. If, in the event of an emergency medical rescue or evacuation from a trip of you the client, either by foot, helicopter or otherwise the responsibility for the payment of such costs will lie with the client. Any subsequent costs incurred for expenses such as hotels, food, transport etc shall be borne by the client. You must ensure that your insurance covers all of the activities you expect to participate in your trip. You must provide evidence to SERENE HIMALAYA TREKS AND EXPEDITION upon your arrival. If you cannot provide the evidence of insurance you will be required to take out a suitable policy at that time. If you are not insured for any reason, you will not be allowed to continue with your trip and will not be entitled to any refund for services not provided.
8. PASSPORTS, VISAS AND IMMIGRATION REQUIREMENTS:
Your specific passport and visa requirements, and other immigration requirements are your responsibility and you should confirm these with the relevant Embassies and/or Consulates. Please ensure your passport is valid for 6 months beyond the duration of the trip. We do not accept any responsibility if you cannot travel because you have not complied with any passport, visa or immigration requirements. In some cases, full and correct passport information is required when a booking is submitted to us in order that we can obtain necessary tickets, permits and visas on your behalf. If you do not supply the appropriate and correct information when you make your booking, we will not be able to make the necessary bookings on your behalf and cannot be held responsible.
9. RESPONSIBILITY:
Your booking is accepted on the understanding that you realise and accept the risks and hazards potentially involved in adventure holidays and that you are mentally and physically capable of undertaking your chosen trip. You must tell us if you have an existing medical condition or disability that might affect your holiday or other group members enjoyment of it, before you book your holiday. If, in our reasonable opinion, your chosen holiday is not suitable for your medical condition or disability we reserve the right to refuse your booking. We reserve the right to cancel the contract if medical problems are discovered and, in this eventuality, we will give a full refund but no compensation. You are responsible for bringing with you the proper clothing and equipment, which we advise you about in our trip information.
10. HEALTH & PHYSICAL FITNESS:
Trips take place in remote areas where there is little or no access to normal medical services or hospital facilities for serious problems. Evacuation, where necessary, can be prolonged, difficult and expensive. Medical and evacuation expenses will be your responsibility. SERENE HIMALAYA TREKS AND EXPEDITION reserves the right in its absolute discretion to refuse a participant the right to participate in a tour on medical or fitness grounds.
11. TRIP LEADER:
SERENE HIMALAYA TREKS AND EXPEDITION nominated trip leaders take their responsibilities seriously and if for any reason a nominated tour leader believes, in his or her absolute discretion, that you should not participate in the tour, before your departure, he/she may exclude you from the tour. In this event, you will be offered the option of taking another tour considered suitable for you or a full refund. If for any reason during a tour the nominated tour leader considers you should not participate further due to you committing an illegal act, or in the opinion of the nominated tour leader, your behaviour is causing or is likely to cause danger, distress or annoyance to others, or your fitness or health is inadequate, he or she may direct you not to continue and you must follow the nominated trip leader's instructions. In this case you will not be entitled to any refund.
12. JURISDICTION:
No employee, representative or agent of SERENE HIMALAYA TREKS AND EXPEDITION other than Company Head or Directors to vary these conditions. This agreement is governed by the laws of the Nepal Government.
13. IF YOU HAVE A COMPLAINT:
If you have a problem during your holiday, you must inform your trip leader who will endeavour to put things right.
14. PROMOTIONAL IMAGES:
Any likeness or image of you secured or taken on any of our trips may be used by the company without charge in all media (whether now existing or in the invented) for bona fide promotional materials of any kind, such as brochures, website slides, video shows and the internet.
