Pikey Peak Trek is newly introduced trekking route in Khumbu region which allows us to enjoy up-close view of Everest and lower Khumbu region along with magical landscapes. The view of sunrise and sunset over the giant peaks is so magical that it will become your lifetime memory. Apart from majestic Himalayan views, you will get opportunity to discover unique geography and the life it supports. The unique Sherpa Culture and their hospitality is very intriguing. Being a newly discovered trekking route, it offers an off-beat and solitary trekking experience.
9 days Pikey Peak Trek Itinerary is designed to minimize the risk of AMS by limiting the daily gain in altitude. The Pikey Peak trail route is covered with lush forests of rhododendron, oak and pine. You will walk through numerous villages perched on ridge tops surrounded by terraced fields.From Pikey peak, you will get the grand view of mountain peaks – Dhaulagiri, Everest, Makalu and Kanchenjunga to the far west. The tea house accommodation along the trekking route is simple and offers very basic facilities.Pikey Peak Trek is suitable for anyone willing to witness the Himalayan peaks and authentic local lifestyle within few days.

Kathmandu to Dhap Bazaar ( 2850M.)
AT morning We will leave from Kathmandu in our private vehicle jeep to Dhap Bazaar. The path follows the Sunkoshi River, which joins the Tama Koshi River further ahead on our drive, forming a large Koshi River until reaching Ghurmi. We will see the Nepali culture, enjoy typical Nepali food and continue our drive along with the dense rhododendron forests. We will pass numerous settlement areas before reaching Dhap Bazaar, which will take approximately6 to 7 hours. We will explore the local bazaar and observe the lifestyle of the inhabiting people. Overnight at a lodge in Dahp Bazaar.
Dhap Bazaar to Jhapre (2815m)
After Breakfast we will continue along a dusty road leading us to Sigane. Again the trail continues along the bumpy roads to Jhapre. It is famous for exceptional vantage points to view the mountains residing in the country's northern region. We can see Everest (8848m) and the mejestic Mountain views. also we will visit gompas and stupas in the village. Overnight at a lodge in Jhapre.
Jhapre to Pikey Base Camp ( 3640m)
After Japre, you follow the trail which climbs up to a grassy ridge at Bhulbhule. From there also you will have nice views of the Everest range. Soon after Bhulbhule, the trail splits and you’ll turn right to Pikey Peak. You’ll pass some old yak houses and a long mani stone wall. The trail then contours the hillside below Taklung Danda and goes through a beautiful forested trail. There are many rhododendron trees here along a level path (which you can see in bloom if trekking in the spring). As you leave the forest, it’s around 2 hours to reach Pikey Peak base camp. Overnight at Mountain Lodge.
Pikey Base camp to Junbesi ( 2680m)
Today early morning you start trekking to the famous viewpoint of Pikey Peak. You can enjoy the sunrise and mountain views of Mt. Everest (8848m), Number Chuli (6959m), Thamserku (6608m), Kangtega (6685m), Khatang (6853m), Kanchenjunga (8586m), Manaslu (8163m), Dhaulagiri (8167m), Gaurishankar (7134m), Dorje Lakpa (6966m) and Langtang. After taking in the extensive panorama from Pikey Peak we will descend to Jase Bhnajyang. over night junbesi.
Exploration to Thuptenchholing Gompa ( 2920m)
After Breakfast we will be our exploration day around the village. We will hike up to the Thuptenchholing Gompa, founded in the 19th century. The trail ascends uphill along the Junbesi Khola to the Gompa. The Gompa offers in-depth insights into the culture and religious heritage of the region. After spending some time here, we return to Junbesi. Overnight at a lodge in Junbesi.
Junbesi to Phaplu (2380m)
After breakfast, you will follow the descending dusty trail along the Junbesi Khola until reaching a steel suspension bridge. After crossing the bridge you will reach Beni Ghat. You will continue your walk along the trail filled with scenic pleasures before reaching Phaplu. At Phaplu we can sample the local cuisine and drink while taking part in a traditional Sherpa cultural event. Overnight at Mountain Lodge.
Phaplu to Kathmandu by Flight
An early 35minutes scenic flight will lead us back to the domestic airport at Kathmandu. From here, we will drive back to our hotel. We'll have a celebratory Nepali dinner in the evening.

Cancellation Policy
when tour is book then payment is refundable subject to administrative cost at 10% of the tour cost.
· Between 30 to 60 day in advance, is subject to deduction of 20% from the tour cost.
· Between 20 day and 30 day in advance is subject to 30% deduction on the tour cost.
· 15 days to 20 day in advance is subject to deduction of 50% on the tour cost.
· In less than 15 days shall be liable to no refund of the tour cost, full amount shall be forfeited.
