Itinerary

Explore the mighty Himalayas in Himachal Pradesh, North India. Bring your winter gears and prepare for a trip of a lifetime through the snow-capped mountainous region. Try your hand at paragliding, skiing, or river rafting while you're here.

Tour program

Day 1

Arrive New Delhi

Welcome to New Delhi! You will be picked up from your point of arrival at the Delhi Airport, Train Station or from your accommodation if you are already in Delhi.

Upon pick-up, your driver will answer any questions and explain what you will be in for. You will then embark on a full day sightseeing in Delhi ticking off all of the top sights and with a stop for lunch at a nice local restaurant (Lunch not included).

Sightseeing includes Qutub Minar, Humayun Tomb, Old Delhi, Red Fort, Jama Masjid and in the evening time you can visit India Gate, Parliament House and President House.

At the end of the day your driver will drop you to your Hotel upon completion of sightseeing where you can enjoy a good night's rest and explore further at your leisure. Your driver will be happy to provide suggestions for dinner, shopping etc.

Day 2

New Delhi to Shimla (370km / 8hr drive)

After breakfast drive Delhi to Shimla ,En route visit pinjore garden and timber trail. Then drive to shimla.

Night in Shimla Hotel.

Day 3

Shimla

After breakfast drive to Kufri. Kufri which is 20km from Shimla where you can enjoy some horse riding. Afterwards you will visit Fagu Zoo at Kufri.

Return in the evening visit to the Mall Road, Sankat Mochan Temple and Indian institute of Advanced Studies.

Night in Shimla Hotel.

Day 4

Shimla to Manali (270 km / 9hr drive)

After breakfast proceed from Shimla to Manali via Mandi. Enroute visit Kullu Valley where you can partake in some river rafting or paragliding. Kullu is famous for woollen goods so shop til you drop before driving back to Manali.

Day 5

Manali & Rohtang Pass

Early Morning Half-day excursion to Rohtang Pass area where you can expect snow all year round. On The Way Back visit Solang Valley, then Return to Hotel.

Day 6

Manali to Dharmshala (280 km / 8 hr drive)

After Breakfast drive Manali to Dharmshala, En route you will visit Baijnath Temple via Kangra City and by evening you will reach Dharmshala.

Dharmshala to Amritsar (200km / 5hr drive)

Early Morning check out from hotel proceed to Amritsar, check in Hotel and Late evening you visit Golden Temple, Jallianwala Bagh, Durgiana temple.

Day 8

Amritsar - Wagah Border

In the morning free time in Hotel and in the afternoon proceed to Wagah border and where you can see Praid Indian and Pakistani soldiers.

Day 9

Amritsar to Chandigarh (250 km / 5 hr drive)

After breakfast drive to Chandigarh in the evening you visit Rock Garden, Rose Garden,Sukhna Lake and Sector-17 Market.

Chandigarh to Delhi (250km / 5hr drive)

After Breakfast drive from Chandigarh to Delhi where your driver will drop you at your onwards destination.
