To see it with your own eyes, join us and our professional guide on this 3-hour-tour: we’ll provide you with a pocket radio receiver and earphones, and let you guide inside the Colosseum. You’ll walk inside the Flavian Amphitheater, seeing the places where the Ancient Romans used to watch a variety of events, such as gladiatorial shows or staged animal hunts, and you’ll learn more about the way Romans used to enjoy their leisure time. You’ll stroll around the Palatine Hill, the place where Rome was founded and where Roman emperors used to live: the view is spectacular from here, so get your camera ready for some perfect shots from above! After breakfast you’ll be embarked to Capri island. Depending on weather conditions, you’ll take a boat ride to the popular and dreamy “Grotta Azzurra” (Blue Grotto) (weather permitting), where sunlight passes into an underwater cavity and shines through the seawater, creating a magical blue reflection. You’ll see wonderful views of the bay of Naples free time for lunch (lunch not included). After you can take advantage of some free time to explore Capri at your leisure or to go shopping. Then you’ll return to Marina Grande back to the mainland to return to Sorrento for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, you'll have some free time to soak in Sorrento's charm one last time. Around 1:15 PM (departure time to be reconfirmed by our local staff), we begin the final leg of our journey. Accompanied by our expert tour leader, we head to Pompeii, where a professional local guide will take you on an extraordinary walking tour of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Discover the remarkably preserved ruins of this ancient Roman city, frozen in time by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. Skip-the-line access, personal earphones, and a radio receiver ensure you won’t miss a single fascinating detail as your guide brings history to life. At the end of the tour, we'll depart for our return journey to Rome, filled with memories of an unforgettable Italian adventure.

Departure at 7:15 AM by Gran Turismo coach towards Assisi. Upon arrival, enjoy free time to explore this charming medieval town, surrounded by ancient walls. We recommend visiting the renowned Basilica of St. Francis, home to masterpieces by Giotto and Cimabue. (Free time for lunch, not included). Continuing along the north-south highway of the Italian Peninsula, we reach Siena—a stunning medieval city enclosed by formidable walls, renowned for hosting one of the most beautiful squares in the world: Piazza del Campo, where the famous “Palio delle Contrade” horse race takes place. We then proceed to Florence. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel, followed by dinner and overnight stay.
