You can now experience the best of Kenya over the course of eight days with this comprehensive tour from East Point Safari Bookers. You will start your trip in Kenya’s capital, Nairobi, then follow on to Samburu for an afternoon game drive to spot your first glimpse of the wildlife here in East Africa! You will also have the opportunity to visit landmarks such as Aberdares, Baringo, Lake Nakuru and the Masai Mara park.

Day 1

Aberdare National Park

After breakfast in the morning, depart from Nairobi passing through Nyeri town where Lord Baden Powell, the founder of the Boy Scouts movement, spent the last years of his life and is buried here. Have lunch en route at Aberdare Country Club and drive through the forest to view various species of game. These can be seen along the way to your tree hotel. Your accommodation balcony which overlooks a floodlit waterhole gives you the opportunity to watch game in the night. Overnight at The Ark Lodge / Treetops lodge.

Day 2

Samburu National Park

Following a morning breakfast, depart north to Samburu Game Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch before taking an afternoon game drive to Samburu Game Reserve. This beautiful park is a home to rarely found species such as the reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, Beisa Oryx, and blue-necked Somali ostrich beautiful. Overnight at Samburu Lodge.

Day 3

Samburu National Park

You will spend a full day exploring Samburu reserve and its diverse species of game. Overnight as above.

Day 4

Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, depart north of Aberdare Mountains and descend into the Great Rift Valley for Lake Nakuru. Visit one of the world’s well-known bird sanctuaries of Lake Nakuru National Park. Overnight at Sarova Lion Hill Lodge.

Day 5

Lake Baringo

After breakfast depart for Lake Baringo and Bogoria, these is the new home to Kenya Flamingoes, see them in large groups by the water, enjoy the natures of the hot springs og Baringo. Dinner and overnight in Lake Baringo County Club

Day 6

Masai Mara

This morning you will cross the Great Rift Valley and arrive at Masai Mara Game Reserve. Have lunch at Sarova Mara Lodge before exploring the plains and rolling hills for a chance to spot the elephant, black-maned lion, leopard, buffalo, cheetah, and with diverse species of hoofed animals. Overnight at Sarova Mara Lodge / Mara Sopa Lodge.

Day 7

Masai Mara

Wake with the dawn to witness a sunrise out on the Masai Mara. As the sun sets fire to the savannah, you'll have the chance to watch predators such as leopards and lions out on the hunt while the air is still cool. After a late breakfast, you'll have the choice to either relax at your lodge until lunch and then head out into the park or take a picnic lunch and head out into the park for a day of discovery as you track the movements of the Wildebeest Migration (seasonal) or go in search of the Big Five.

Day 8

Nairobi
