  • Travel to Nuwara Eliya which - is known for its temperate, cool climate – the coolest area in Sri Lanka. Often referred to as ‘Little England’, this genteel highland community does have a rose-tinted, vaguely British-country-village.
  • Explore Kandy is a bustling city built around a lake in central Sri Lanka. It is listed as a world heritage site by UNESCO and is considered one of the most sacred places of worship in the Buddhist World.
  • Climbing a rock - if you’re in good shape and don’t stop to look at things, it’ll take you less than 30 minutes to climb all the way to the top of the rock. If you need a few breaks along the way or simply want to stop often to take photos and admire the view, it’ll take an hour and a half to two hours to climb up and go back down again.

Day 1

COLOMBO – ELLA

  • You will be picked up from your lodging in Colombo by your unique escort guide and transferred to Ella.
  • The drive will take approximately 4–5 hours, with your first photo stop at the stunning Ravana Falls.
  • After reaching Ella, you will check in to your hotel and relax.
  • In the evening, enjoy some free time to explore the city on your own with a leisurely walk around.

Colombo, Sri Lanka

  • With morning breakfast you will visit Adisham Bungalow.
  • Adisham Hall, or Adisham Bungalow is a country house near Haputale, in the Badulla District, Sri Lanka. At present it houses the Adisham Monastery a congregation of St. Sylvester.The house was built in 1931 by an English aristocrat and planter Sir Thomas Villiers, former Chairman of George Steuart Co, a trading and estate agency based in Colombo. Sir Thomas was a grandson of Lord John Russell and descendant of the Dukes of Bedford. It was designed by R. Booth and F. Webster in Tudor and Jacobean style, on 10 acres (40,000 m2) of land. Adisham Hall played host too many prominent personalities of the colony until the retirement of Sir Thomas, after which it was sold to Sedawatte Mills. In 1961 it was purchased by the Roman Catholic Church and was subsequently converted to a monastery. The house is well preserved along with its period fittings and furniture, and is open to visitors.
  • Nine Arch Bridge - The Nine Arch Bridge in Ella is on the Demodara loop and spans 91 meters at a height of 24m. The beautiful nine arches make it a very picturesque spot especially as it is located in a dense jungle and agricultural setting. Behind the railway, a forest is booming and below, tea leaves are being cultivated.
  • The Ravana Cave - The Ravana Cave is located about 2 km from the Ella town. It is quite a small cave, measuring about 50ft wide, 150ft long and 60ft high. History says that the cave is used by King Rawana to hide the Princess Sita
  • After the visit you will come back your hotel and stay a night 
  • Little Adam’s Peak - Little Adam’s Peak attracts many travelers who come to Sri Lanka. You will embark on an early morning hike to reach the summit just in time for sunrise. The easy hike up the mountain offers a rewarding panoramic view of Ella’s stunning natural beauty. Ella is globally known for its breathtaking landscapes, and Little Adam’s Peak is one of the most iconic spots. The hike is definitely worth it for the jaw-dropping, eye-catching views that will leave you in awe. It has long been a favorite destination for visitors, drawn by the amazing scenery that never fails to impress.
  • Get back to hotel & Breakfast at hotel
  • The town of Nuwara Eliya enjoys spring-like weather throughout the year. A favorite retreat ofthe British during colonial times, the town is dotted with English country style houses and half-timbered bungalows.
  • Gregory Lake - Gregory Lake was created in 1873 by the British era Governor at the time, Sir William Gregory, supposedly for the purpose of providing electricity. However the lake was mainly used for leisure and recreation after it was built. At its peak of fame, Gregory Lake was the most prominent attraction in the area and was used a place to relax by many visitors.
  • Ramboda Falls - Ramboda Falls is 109 m (358 ft) high and 11th highest waterfall in Sri Lanka and 729th highest waterfall in the world.  It is situated in Pussellawa area, on the A5 highway at Ramboda Pass. It formed by Panna Oya which is a tributary of Kothmale Oya. Altitude of the falls is 945 m (3,100 ft) above sea level.
  • After you visit Little Adam’s Peak your next destination will be Nuwara Eliya  you can check in and relax in you hotel .
  • Breakfast at the hotel, then transfer to Kandy, known for its rich cultural heritage and scenic surroundings.
  • Visit a tea factory and tea plantation, where you'll have the chance to explore the fields of vibrant green tea bushes. Learn about the meticulous process of tea production, from plucking the leaves to the final product. You’ll also have the opportunity to sample some freshly brewed Ceylon tea while taking in the stunning views of the plantation.
  • Stop for a photo opportunity at the picturesque Ramboda Falls, a breathtaking waterfall surrounded by dense jungle. It’s the perfect spot for some memorable photos and to appreciate the tranquil beauty of nature.
  • In the evening, enjoy a traditional cultural dance show in Kandy. The performance will showcase Sri Lanka’s vibrant culture, featuring energetic Kandyan dance, drumming, and traditional music, offering a unique insight into the island's artistic traditions.
  • Later, visit the sacred Kandy Tooth Temple, also known as the Sri Dalada Maligawa. This temple houses a relic of the Buddha’s tooth and is one of the most revered sites in Sri Lanka. Explore the temple complex, its ornate architecture, and peaceful surroundings.
  • Take a peaceful stroll around Kandy Lake, located right beside the temple. The lake offers a serene atmosphere, perfect for relaxation and reflection after the temple visit.
  • Overnight stay at your hotel in Kandy.
  • Breakfast at the hotel, then transfer to Sigiriya.
  • Visit the Kandy View Point for a panoramic view of the city and its surrounding hills.
  • Explore the Gem Museum and Wood Carving Center, where you can learn about Sri Lanka’s famous gemstones and admire intricate wood carvings.
  • Continue your journey to Sigiriya and visit the Dambulla Cave Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site with stunning Buddhist murals and statues.
  • Enjoy a unique village experience lunch. Your adventure begins with a scenic cart ride through the village, where you’ll get to explore rural life. Afterward, you’ll enjoy a peaceful canoe ride on a serene lake, offering a calm and scenic view of the surroundings. You’ll then be treated to a traditional Sri Lankan lunch, prepared with fresh, local ingredients that showcase the flavors of the island. Finally, a fun tuk-tuk drive will drop you back to the starting point, rounding off your village experience.
  • Overnight stay at your hotel in Sigiriya.
  • Early morning, climb Sigiriya Lion Rock to catch the stunning sunrise from the top. This UNESCO World Heritage site offers breathtaking views and is an unforgettable experience.
  • After descending, enjoy breakfast at the hotel, then begin your journey back to Colombo.
