Egypt Highlights Tour Package: Cairo, Sleeper Train, Nile Cruise & Luxor in 9 Days

According to your flight details, our representative will meet you upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, just outside the arrivals hall at your designated terminal, holding a sign with your name for a warm welcome.

You will then be transferred by private air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel in Cairo, ensuring a comfortable and smooth start to your journey.

Your hotel accommodation is based on Bed & Breakfast.

Important Notes:

• The entry visa is not included. It can be obtained upon arrival or arranged in advance.

• Hotel check-in is after 2:00 PM. If you arrive earlier, we will do our best to arrange early check-in, subject to hotel availability.

• Extra nights before or after the tour are available as an add-on upon request. Please contact us if you would like to add one.

• Your airport meeting point will be arranged according to your arrival terminal, and full details will be shared with you before your trip.

After hotel pick-up, enjoy a private guided tour of the Giza Plateau—the three Great Pyramids, panoramic viewpoint, the Sphinx, and the Valley Temple. After lunch at a local restaurant, continue to the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) to explore Egypt’s most impressive collection of ancient artifacts.

In the evening, transfer to the station and board your overnight sleeper train to Aswan.

Sleeper train notes: Private A/C twin-berth cabin (bunk-style) with sink; no shower. Shared restroom at the end of the carriage. Dinner and breakfast are included, and drinks are available for purchase.

Begin your day with visits to two of Aswan’s most iconic landmarks: the impressive High Dam, a remarkable modern engineering achievement, and the beautiful Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis and uniquely located on an island in the Nile.

After the tour, you will be transferred to your 5-star Nile cruise, where you will check in and begin your unforgettable 3-night journey from Aswan to Luxor, sailing through the heart of ancient Egypt.

Early in the morning, you have the option to join an unforgettable excursion to Abu Simbel, one of Egypt’s most impressive ancient sites. These magnificent temples were carved into the mountainside and dedicated to King Ramses II and Queen Nefertari.

After returning from Abu Simbel, or after enjoying a relaxed morning onboard, your Nile cruise will set sail toward Kom Ombo at approximately 2:00 PM. Enjoy the scenic journey along the Nile as you continue sailing through the heart of ancient Egypt.

Upon arrival in Kom Ombo, you will meet your guide for a 2-hour guided visit to the unique Kom Ombo Temple. This remarkable double temple is dedicated to two gods: Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus the Elder, the falcon god. During the visit, you will discover its fascinating symmetrical design and see the famous ancient surgical instruments carved into the temple walls.

After the visit, return to your Nile cruise and continue sailing toward Edfu.

The cruise usually starts sailing at around 2:00 PM, making the morning a great opportunity to visit Abu Simbel Temples, one of the most important and impressive temple complexes in Egypt.

Start your day with a visit to Edfu Temple, one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt, dedicated to the falcon god Horus. Your guide will walk you through its majestic halls and towering columns, sharing stories of divine battles and ancient rituals.

After the tour, return to the cruise and continue your journey north. You'll cross the famous Esna Lock, an experience in itself, as your ship navigates through this key point on the Nile.

Relax on deck as you sail onward to Luxor, the ancient city of Thebes and home to some of Egypt’s most impressive monuments.
