Easy Banthali Village Trek 7 days

Upon your arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, the Adventure Himalayan representatives will pick you up and transfer you to the hotel. After refreshment, you will be briefed in short about your tour by our guide or tour leader. If you have any questions or doubts about your trip then they should be asked and clarified at this time. Overnight stay at hotel.

Kathmandu Valley includes several UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including Pashupatinath (famous Hindu temple and cremation ground) Boudhanath (massive Buddhist stupa). We can also visit Swyambhunath, also known as Monkey Temple, which was built roughly 2000 years ago. Finally, we can visit Patan, city of fine arts. In the afternoon, you will be meeting with your trekking guide and will check all the necessary things. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Changunarayan is the UNESCO World Heritage Site located atop the hill 20km east of Kathmandu in Changunarayan Village. Here lies the temple of the incarnation of Lord Vishnu- The Protector God. Leaving Changunarayan behind, we will walk through the pine forests along the ridge and continue through villages offering spectacular views of mountains until arriving to Nagarkot.

With early wakeup call, we will leave guest house and set off towards a tower that offers the enchanting sunrise views over Mount Everest. After taking the breakfast, we trek towards Dhulikhel, pass through hilly landscapes scattered with beautiful small settlements. We continue walking for about 5hrs to make it to Dhulikhel- an ancient Newar town offering spellbinding views of Dorje Lakpa, Gauri Shankar and Langtang peaks.

Namobuddha is aptly positioned atop the hill above Panauti, about 3hr walk from Dhulikhel. An ancient stone slab and a stupa with the all-seeing eyes of Lord Buddha tell of the legend associated with the Lord Buddha and his mercy towards the starving tigress. Another 3hours of walking will lead us to wonderful Balthali Village, where we see excellent mountain views. Overnight at Balthali Village Resort.

We will casually stroll to the Newari Village of Panauti. Positioned near Punyamata and Roshi streams, Panauti boasts in having a three- tiered Indreswor Mahadev Temple. The trek will be enjoyable as we will pass across several temples and traditional houses. From Panauti, we will drive back to Kathmandu, where we will have a celebratory dinner.
