After breakfast proceed for sightseeing tour Pashupatinath temple & Kailashnath Mahadev
We will begin our full-day sightseeing tour with a visit to Pashupatinath temple, the most sacred Hindu shrine of Lord Shiva, followed by a short half-hour drive towards Sanga around a huge statue of Kailashnath Mahadev on top of the hill.
Pashupatinath is the most significant Hindu shrine in the world, and the temple itself is the biggest Hindu temple of Lord Shiva located on the banks of the Bagmati River. Almost every Hindu pilgrims wants to bow their head in front of the Pashupatinath temple at least once in their lifetime. The cremation site, nearby jungle, river, and whole surroundings are the major attractions around the Pashupatinath. The temple is even listed on the UNESCO world heritage site. A large number of devotees, including national and international celebrities, delegates have visited the Pashupatinath temple.
After exploring the Pashupatinath temple, we head towards Sanga nearby Bhaktapur to visit Kailashnath Mahadev. And it is the world’s tallest Shiva statue standing at 143 feet in height. After breakfast sightseeing tour around Dakshinkali temple & Narayanthan temple
Today after having our instant meal, we will leave for Dakshinkali temple, the famous temple of goddesses “Kali” and believed to be the most powerful Hindu goddesses with lots of blessings to offer. Located at 22 kilometers south of Kathmandu valley, we will be there at our private vehicle driving through beautiful forested lands, valleys, rivers and settlements along the way. The temple was built in the time of Malla regime in Kathmandu when goddess kali appeared in the dream of King and he ordered to construct the temple. Every Saturday and during Dashain festival, large number of hindu pilgrims from all over visits the temple with great belief. Animals like male goat and cockerels are sacrificed in large number in the name of goddesses.
Narayanthan temple also known as Budhanilkantha temple is the sacred temple of Lord Vishnu situated at northern side of Kathmandu. After short drive towards base of Shivapuri hill, we arrive at Budhanilkantha temple where we can worship the sleeping statue of Lord Narayan(Vishnu) which is 5 meters long in a small pond. Majorly the hindu pilgrims crowd can be seen during chaturmasya festival in Oct/Nov when it is believed that Lord Vishnu wakes up from his sleep. After being at the major hindu pilgrimage sites we get back to hotel for overnight stay.
After breakfast visit Manakamana temple and drive to Pokhara
We begin our day with a scenic 100 km drive towards Kurintar to visit the “Manakamana” temple, also known as wish-granting goddesses. “Manakamana” in Nepali means “your wishes come true,” and it is believed that the wishes of all the pilgrims come true after worshipping goddesses. Upon arrival at Kurintar, we will ride a cable car, the fast and most accessible way on the top. It takes approximately 10 minutes to arrive at the top. The beautiful scenery awaits on the way.
After visiting Manakamana temple, we returned downhill through the cable car and drove towards Pokhara for the next 100 km. You will be mesmerized by the scenic views of valleys, rivers on the way, and the astounding views of Annapurna Himalayas and lakes. After checking in at the hotel, we boated on Phewa Lake for beautiful sunset views. Overnight at Hotel.
Early flight from Pokhara to Jomsom and visit Muktinath temple and return Jomsom
We will be having early breakfast today as we have to catch a short 30minutes flight from Pokhara to Jomsom. Upon checking in at the hotel in Jomsom, we head towards Muktinath temple on Jeep (20 km). The jeep only reaches till ranipauwa, from where we have to walk for around 45 minutes to finally arrive at Muktinath temple, the greatest pilgrimage site for Hindus all over the world. Muktinath is the god of salvation and it is believed that after taking a holy bath around 108 waters sprouts inside the temple, the one gets salvation. Further, we will visit the Jwala Mai temple where the natural gas emerges lighting the eternal flames which are believed to be created by Lord Brahma himself. We end our day after getting back to our jeep in Ranipauwa which takes us back to the hotel in Jomsom for an overnight stay.
Flight from Jomsom to Pokhara followed by full day Pokhara sightseeing
Early morning we will schedule a flight to Pokhara and check-in at the hotel. Today we will explore the scenic lake city Pokhara. Initially, we visit Bindabashini temple, the holy site where the goddesses Bindabasnini fulfills the wishes of her devotees. The next attraction would be Devis’ fall, the spectacular water fall in the region. And we will visit Gupteshwor cave; which is named after Lord shiva. Further, a boat ride will take us to the Tal barahi temple or island temple in the middle of Phewa Lake. After exploring all the religious and touristic sites of the scenic Pokhara valley, we will stroll around the lakeside for individual activities. Overnight at the hotel.
Drive back to Kathmandu
Finally, we head back to the capital city Kathmandu on a scenic 200 km drive. Crossing the valleys, rivers with beautiful views of gorges, ridges, and settlements, we arrive at Kathmandu and check in at the hotel for rest. Further exploration of Kathmandu valley till the end of the day. And pack for the flight back home tomorrow
Janakpur and Janakpur sightseeing
After an early breakfast,we take a 30 min flight to Janakpur, birth place of Lord Sita. The whole day we visit various temples dedicated to Ram, Sita and Hanuman.
You will reach Janakpur in the evening and transfer to Hotel. Janakpur is famous for its Janaki Temple, Dhanus Sagar, Ram & Sita Biwaha Mandap. They are a very historical and ancient places . Overnight stay at hotel.
