If you are an adventure enthusiast and love to be close to nature, Annapurna Base Camp Trek is the perfect adventure for you. The trek takes you through the beautiful Himalayan ranges and offers some of the most impressive views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri peaks.



Annapurna Base Camp is located in the Annapurna region of Nepal and is a popular trekking destination. The walk takes you through lush forests, quaint villages, and terraced fields and provides the opportunity to interact with the friendly locals and experience their unique culture.



The Annapurna Base Camp Trek is a moderate to challenging trek and requires a good level of fitness. The trek takes you to an elevation of 4130 meters and you will need to acclimatize properly to avoid altitude sickness.

The trek usually lasts 8 days, depending on the itinerary, and begins in Nayapul, a small town located an hour's drive from Pokhara. The trek then takes you through beautiful villages such as Ghandruk, Chhomrong, and Dovan, before finally reaching Annapurna Base Camp.

Day 1

Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara

We'll embark on a scenic drive to Pokhara, which takes around 9-10 hours. Along the way, we'll stop for lunch and enjoy the picturesque views of the Trishuli and Marsyangdi rivers. Upon arrival in Pokhara, check in to your hotel and spend the rest of the day exploring the beautiful lakeside city.

Day 2

Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul, trek to Ghandruk


After breakfast, we'll take a one-and-a-half-hour drive to Nayapul, where we'll begin our trek to Ghandruk. The trek takes around 5-6 hours and passes through charming villages and lush forests, with several suspension bridges along the way. We'll spend the night in a teahouse in Ghandruk.

Day 3

Trek from Ghandruk to Chhomrong


Today's trek takes around 5-6 hours and starts with a descent to the Modi Khola river. We'll then cross a suspension bridge and climb up to the Gurung village of Chhomrong, which offers stunning views of the Annapurna South and Machhapuchhre peaks. We'll spend the night in a teahouse in Chhomrong.

Day 4

Trek from Chhomrong to Himalayan Hotel


On the fourth day of your epic Annapurna Base Camp trek, you'll set out from the charming village of Chhomrong, where you've spent the night. This day's trek will take you deeper into the heart of the Annapurna Sanctuary, surrounded by towering peaks and lush forests.

Day 5

Trek to Annapurna Base Camp via Machhapuchhre Base Camp


As you continue your Annapurna Base Camp trek on the fifth day, anticipation and excitement build as you inch closer to the main highlight of your journey. Today's destination: the majestic Annapurna Base Camp (ABC), nestled amidst the towering peaks of the Annapurna range. Your journey to Annapurna Base Camp is via Machhapuchhre Base Camp, a place offering spectacular views of Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) Peak. Enjoy a rest here, soak in the awe-inspiring vistas.

Day 6

Trek from Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo


After enjoying the sunrise views from Annapurna Base Camp, we'll begin our descent back to Bamboo. The trek takes around 6-7 hours and follows the same route we took on the way up. We'll spend the night in a teahouse in Bamboo.

Day 7

Trek from Bamboo to Jhinu Danda


On the seventh day of your Annapurna Base Camp journey, you'll continue your descent from the sanctuary's heights and make your way to Jhinu Danda, where a unique and soothing experience awaits you. Jhinu Danda is a village renowned for its natural hot springs. After reaching Jhinu, you can unwind and relax in the rejuvenating thermal waters, which offer a perfect respite for tired muscles.

Day 8

Trek from Jhinu Danda to Nayapul the drive back to Pokhara


As your Annapurna Base Camp adventure draws to a close on the eighth day, you'll make your way back from Jhinu Danda to Nayapul and enjoy a scenic drive back to the picturesque city of Pokhara. Your trek comes to an end at Nayapul, where your journey to Annapurna Base Camp began. Here, you'll prepare for the drive back to Pokhara.
