Commence your journey with a pick-up in Reykjavík, where the adventure unfolds. Our first destination is the Golden Circle, commencing with a picturesque drive to Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Delve into the historical and geological wonders of Þingvellir, where you can traverse the dramatic rift valley and delve into Iceland's captivating history, as this site marks the founding location of the Icelandic Parliament (Alþingi) in 930 AD.

Continuing the odyssey, the path leads to the Geysir geothermal area, where powerful geysers burst forth in a captivating display. Experience the excitement of watching Strokkur geyser shoot scalding water high into the air every 10-15 minutes. Next, venture to the awe-inspiring Gullfoss waterfall, one of Iceland's most iconic natural marvels. Stand in awe of the sheer power and beauty of the cascading falls before pausing for a lunch break at this remarkable site.

Following lunch, your adventure carries you toward the South Coast. Our first South Coast stop is at the enchanting Seljalandsfoss waterfall, where you can stroll behind the falling curtain of water for a unique perspective. A brief drive further east reveals the magnificent Skógafoss waterfall, renowned for its impressive height and the resounding crash of water. Capture breathtaking photos and feel the mist on your face as you bask in the grandeur of these majestic falls.

Next, explore the black sand expanse of Reynisfjara Beach, celebrated for its striking basalt formations and towering sea stacks. Roam the otherworldly terrain and acquaint yourself with the captivating folklore surrounding this area. Finally, you'll journey to your hotel on the South Coast, a place to unwind and recharge for the adventures awaiting you on the morrow.

Following a delightful breakfast at your hotel, a new day of exploration awaits you. Commence your journey by visiting the quaint coastal village of Vík, renowned for its picturesque black sand beaches and dramatic rock formations. Behold the awe-inspiring vistas of the Reynisdrangar sea stacks before continuing your adventure.

Upon reaching Vík, you'll have the option to partake in the Katla Ice Cave tour (from May until September), an enchanting natural marvel concealed beneath the Mýrdalsjökull glacier or Crystal Ice Cave (from October until April) located by Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon. Explore the ice cave and be mesmerized by the striking blue hues and intricate ice formations. Alternatively, you can opt to spend some leisure time exploring the area and immersing yourself in the tranquil beauty of the surrounding landscapes.

Following your ice cave adventure, savor a delectable lunch in Vík before embarking on a journey to the magnificent Fjaðrárgljúfur canyon. Stroll along the canyon's edge and be entranced by the vast scale and splendor of this geological wonder. Continuing eastward, you'll reach Jökulsárlón, a glacial lagoon teeming with colossal icebergs. Revel in the mesmerizing spectacle of icebergs drifting in the crystal-clear waters. Be sure not to miss the nearby Diamond Beach, just a short 5-minute walk from the lagoon, where ice fragments from the lagoon wash up on the black sand, creating a magical contrast.

In the late afternoon, make your way to your hotel in the Höfn area, a place to unwind and contemplate the day's remarkable escapades.

Commence your day with a hearty breakfast at your hotel, setting the stage for another captivating chapter of your Icelandic adventure. Today's journey carries you to the remote and breathtaking eastern part of Iceland. Traverse the awe-inspiring road that winds along the seaside at Hvalárskriður and Þvottárskriður, leading to Djúpivogur, a charming fishing village celebrated for its picturesque harbor and magnificent mountain vistas. Take a moment to wander through the village, soaking in the serenity of this coastal jewel. Djúpivogur is also famous for the "Eggs in Gleðivík" (Merry Bay Harbour), an open-air art installation showcasing 34 species of local birds' eggs.

Continue your drive to Egilsstaðir. During the summer, we will follow the Öxi highland route, passing by a series of cascading waterfalls. However, in the winter months, we will follow the coastline, passing through various coastal fishing villages. Upon reaching Egilsstaðir, you can relish a delectable lunch and take a well-deserved break before the next leg of your journey. Subsequently, make your way to Borgarfjörður Eystri, a hidden gem renowned for its puffin colonies and rugged natural beauty. Observe these endearing seabirds in their native habitat and explore the charming village. It's important to note that puffins are only present here during the summer months, from the end of April until the end of August.

Next, venture to Vök Baths, a geothermal oasis nestled on the shores of Lake Urriðavatn. Indulge in the warm, soothing waters and relish the panoramic vistas of the surrounding mountains and landscapes. Unwind and recharge in these natural hot springs. If you prefer, you can opt to skip the Vök Baths and explore Egilsstaðir independently. We will reconvene at Egilsstaðir and check into the hotel for the night.

Following a delectable breakfast and completing the check-out process at the hotel, it's time to once again hit the road. Launch your day by exploring the western side of Stuðlagil Canyon, renowned for its striking basalt columns and the stunning blue glacial river. Delve into this hidden treasure and bear witness to the extraordinary formations that make it a haven for photographers.

The next stop on your journey is Dettifoss, Europe's mightiest waterfall. Experience the unbridled force and listen to the resounding roar as the water plunges into the canyon below. Take your time to absorb the sheer magnitude and majesty of this natural wonder. Please note that the Dettifoss stop is not guaranteed in winter, as sometimes the road become impassable.

From there, your route takes you to the Lake Mývatn area. Your visit begins at the Námaskarð geothermal area, famed for its otherworldly landscapes and bubbling mud pots. Stroll amidst the steaming vents and vibrant mineral deposits, gaining an up-close glimpse of Iceland's geothermal activity.

Your adventure proceeds with a visit to Dimmuborgir, a mystical lava field adorned with eerie rock formations and lava pillars. Explore the region and uncover the folklore and legends that shroud these dark and dramatic landscapes.

Next, journey to Skútustaðagígar, an assembly of pseudocraters formed by volcanic activity. Walk along the rim of these distinctive formations and relish the panoramic views of the surroundings.

Pause at Goðafoss Waterfall, celebrated for its splendor and historical significance. Delve into the ancient Icelandic sagas that envelop this majestic waterfall and take in the breathtaking vistas.

Following a day filled with natural wonders, you'll check in at your hotel in the Akureyri area, a space to unwind and contemplate the day's remarkable encounters.

Commence your day with a delectable breakfast before immersing yourself in the charms of Akureyri, affectionately known as the "Capital of the North." Stroll leisurely to the harbor and embark on an exhilarating Whale Watching Tour. Keep a watchful eye for the majestic whales breaching the ocean's surface, forging indelible memories. Should you opt not to partake in the whale-watching excursion, take your time exploring the town. Wander along the main street, ascend the steps leading to the church, and explore the botanical gardens.

Following your whale-watching adventure, savor lunch in Akureyri before continuing your odyssey. Drive to Víðimýrarkirkja, a historic turf church that offers a window into Iceland's rural heritage. Step back in time as you roam through the traditional turf houses, gaining insights into the nation's culturally rich past.

Your journey proceeds to Hvítserkur, a captivating rock formation that emerges from the sea. Stand in awe of the monolith's unique shape and let your imagination wander as you ponder the mythical tales intertwined with it.

Venture to Kolugljúfur, a picturesque canyon named after the giantess Kola, who, according to folklore, once inhabited the area. Admire the enchanting waterfalls and the serene beauty that envelops the region.

Finally, make your way to the hotel in Laugarbakki, a place to relax and rejuvenate in preparation for the last leg of your expedition.

On the concluding day of your Icelandic expedition, relish a delectable breakfast before continuing your voyage. Chart a course for Grábrók, a volcanic crater celebrated for its breathtaking vistas and distinctive geological characteristics. Enjoy a brief walk to the crater's rim and take in the sweeping panoramic views.

Press onward to Hraunfossar, a sequence of waterfalls that flow through lava fields, creating a mesmerizing spectacle. Stand in wonder at the striking contrast between the vivid blue waters and the dark volcanic rocks.

Subsequently, visit Sturlureykir, a traditional Icelandic horse farm. Experience the unique allure of Icelandic horses and delve into their history and cultural significance to the country.

Take a pause at Deildartunguhver, Europe's mightiest hot spring. Witness the boiling water surging from the earth's depths and feel the warmth emanating from this geothermal wonder.

Next, head to Reykjavík, where you´ll check into your hotel and enjoying the rest of your evening in town.

On the last day of the tour, you'll start the day with a breakfast at the hotel before checking out. In the morning you'll start by exploring Snæfellsnes Peninsula, a captivating journey through Iceland's diverse landscapes and rich culture. 

Our first stop is the unique Berserkjahraun Lava Field, steeped in captivating folklore. Next, we visit the iconic Mt. Kirkjufell and Kirkjufellsfoss waterfall, perfect for photography. Snæfellsjökull National Park showcases diverse, stunning scenery and the glacier-capped Snæfellsjökull volcano. Djúpalónssandur Beach is a mystical location, with black sands and a haunting shipwreck. Lóndrangar Basalt Cliffs offer dramatic photo opportunities, accompanied by intriguing tales. Arnarstapi village is a quaint coastal gem with a rich history and picturesque harbor.

The Búðir Black Church is an iconic architectural gem surrounded by breathtaking landscapes. Ytri-Tunga Seal Beach provides a unique chance to observe seals before our return to Reykjavík, passing mesmerizing landscapes.

Once we have made our last stop at the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, we'll head back to Reykjavík where you'll be dropped off and say goodbye to your fellow travellers.
