Itinerary

The fifth tallest Mountain in Africa and second to Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, climbing Mount Meru is a great, and wonderful experience. Mount Meru offers beautiful views of the crater and distant views of Mount Kilimanjaro from the summit, see a lot of different species of birds and animals on the lower hills of Mount Meru (feels like walking safari) and is for sure a unique and amazing experience in Tanzania.

Hikes are led by our Professional guides and all necessary climbing equipment and plenty of delicious meals.

You will be accompanied by one armed Ranger, guides, porters one cook to keep you strong and healthy for a successful climb.

MOMELA - MIRIAKAMBA HUTS

Begin your Mount Meru journey with African Polecat Safaris, traveling from Arusha to Momella Gate after a hearty breakfast. Traverse Momella National Park’s grasslands on a wildlife safari with an armed ranger, spotting giraffes, elephants, monkeys, buffalo, and zebras in a rich blend of trekking and viewing.
