Pick up from your accommodation at 9.00am. Headed to the north we will have our lovely lunch break in Otjiwarongo or Outjo. After arriving in the park in the afternoon, we will drive through the National Park in search of wildlife, if we are lucky, we might have an opportunity to see the elephants, rhino, zebras, various game (orynx, kudu, wildebeest, impala, springbok, gemsbok) giraffes, hyenas and big cats of Africa: lion, leopard and cheetah inhabiting the enormous grasslands. We will be at our respective accommodation just before sunset. Dinner sums-up the adventure and then we will rest so that we can be able to wake up early and fresh for the next adventure.

Day 1
Saturday, Depart from Windhoek to Etosha NP (B&L)

Day 2
Sunday- Etosha NP
An early rise will be encouraged to have the feel of nature and the fresh breeze. Soon after breakfast we will then start our game drive to allow us to have a magnificent exploration, we will visit waterholes. We will get to visit the Etosha pan (salt pan) before game driving across the park in expedition of coming across the Big 4 and other animal species. A light lunch will allow us to rest, gathering energy for our next adventure. After a short relaxation we will then visit our last waterhole that will be the last appreciation of Namibia’s beauty. Before sunset we will be back to our accommodation place so that we can have dinner as we share stories of our experiences of the day and also share and compare beautiful photos.
Day 3
Monday- Etosha to Swakopmund
You will be collected from your lodge between 07:00 and 08:00. We have a long drive today 540km ahead of you. We will drive via Outjo and turn off right before Otjiwarango towards Omaruru. We will have a picnic lunch in Omaruru, the town has 14,000 inhabitants and owns 352 square kilometres of land. We will continue via Karibib and Usakos and then across the Namibia Desert to Swakopmund. We will arrive in Swakopmund mid-afternoon where you will have time to explore this quaint seaside town on foot and your guide will be happy to recommend a good restaurant for your evening meal (at your own expense).
Day 4
Tuesday-Swakopmund to Windhoek
Be prepared for the long, scenic transit back to Windhoek. We pass through towns and rural areas, stopping in the small town of Okahandja, the home of Namibia’s largest wood carving market. The stalls operate on a local co-operative basis and offer a vast array of truly Namibian souvenirs. We are due back in Windhoek not later than 16:00 hours. You will be dropped off at your accommodation.
Cancellation Policy
Travel agreement/ contract
This travel document is between the client and Discovery Tours and Transfer. In terms of this
travel agreement a booking is defined as a reservation which is done by the client or the client’s
travel agency.
Deposits and payments
Once the tour is confirmed a non- refundable deposit of 20% of the total tour charges shall
become payable. The remaining balance that is due shall be paid 30 days prior to departure
date. In the event of reservations being effected less than 30 days before departure the full
amount charged will instantly be payable. Payment of a deposit enables us to hold a reservation
for you but does not guarantee the price. The price can only be guaranteed once we receive full
payment. Discovery Tours and Transfer reserves the right to adjust rates according to currency
fluctuations until final payment has been received.
Cancellation policy
Cancellation must be made in writing. Upon receipt of the written notification, Discovery
Transfer and Tours will confirm receipt thereof and this date will determine the following
charges.
Up to 28 days prior to departure: Deposit forfeited
28 to 21 days prior to departure: 30% of total cost forfeited
21 to 14 days prior to departure: 50% of total cost forfeited
14 to 7 days prior to departure: 75% of total cost forfeited
Less than 7 days to departure: 100% of total cost forfeited
It is mandatory for the client to be in possession of a cancellation insurance policy. Please note
that if the reason for cancellation falls within the terms of any holiday insurance policy, which
the client must hold, then any such charges would normally be refunded to the client by the
insurance company, subject to the terms of the insurance.
