Der Haramosh La Trek ist eine der abgelegensten, wildesten und beeindruckendsten Hochgebirgswanderungen im Karakorum-Gebirge im Norden Pakistans. Diese herausfordernde Route durchquert die dramatischen Landschaften zwischen dem üppigen Haramosh-Tal in Gilgit und dem abgelegenen Dorf Arandu in Baltistan und überquert den gewaltigen Haramosh-La-Pass auf etwa 4.800 Metern.
Im Gegensatz zu beliebten Wanderungen im Karakorum wie dem K2 Base Camp oder dem Rakaposhi Base Camp wird der Haramosh La Trek nur selten besucht und liegt abseits der ausgetretenen Pfade - ein unvergleichliches Abenteuer für erfahrene Wanderer und alpine Puristen.
Eine Wanderung durch gegensätzliche Welten
Die Wanderung beginnt im ruhigen Haramosh-Tal, wo Terrassenfelder, Walnussbäume und traditionelle Steinhäuser die Hänge säumen. Wenn Sie zum Kutwal-See aufsteigen, werden Sie mit dramatischen Aussichten auf den Haramosh Peak (7.397 m), den Laila Peak und Gletschermoränen belohnt. Der ruhige Alpensee von Kutwal, umgeben von hoch aufragenden Gipfeln, ist ein Highlight für sich.
Die Reise nimmt dann eine gewagte Wendung in das eisige Reich des Haramosh La Gletschers. Der Aufstieg zum Haramosh La Pass ist technisch anspruchsvoll und erfordert Gletscherkenntnisse und die richtige Ausrüstung. Sobald Sie den Pass überquert haben, verändert sich die Landschaft dramatisch - von der eisigen Welt der hohen Karakoram-Gletscher zum surrealen, riesigen Chogo Lungma Gletscher, der von den goldenen Wänden des Spantik (7.027m), auch bekannt als Golden Peak, überragt wird.
Von hier aus geht es weiter durch selten erforschte Täler und schließlich hinunter in die raue Schönheit von Arandu, einem Dorf, das am Zusammenfluss von Gletscherflüssen und alpinen Wiesen liegt. Dies ist auch ein Ausgangspunkt für Expeditionen zu Spantik und anderen Gipfeln der Hispar Muztagh Untergruppe.

Fliegen Sie nach Gilgit
Fly to Gilgit in the morning. The guide will pick you up at Gilgit airport. We stay at the hotel in Gilgit have some lunch, after having lunch, we organize the logistics required for the trek and prepare for the next day for a drive to Sassi

Fahrt von Gilgit nach Sassi (ca. 3 Stunden)
We take a jeep ride to Sassi from Gilgit, the drive is about 3 hours long. From Sassi we start our trek towards the alpine forest, crossing the Sassi village along the way, and then we rest at Haramosh resort, which is 30 minutes away from the Kutwal lake

Wanderung vom Haramosh Hotel zum Haramosh La Basecamp (~4 Stunden)
We start our trek from Haramosh Hotel, crossing the beautiful Kutwal lake on the left is beautiful Haramosh peak and the glacier, and we also have the view of Laila Peak We can see the Haramosh pass from a distance while crossing a summer settlement, get close to where the real ascent starts from the haramosh pass we camp and rest at the basecamp

Über den Haramosh La (4.800m) nach Cholungma (~8-10 Stunden)
Its might be the most difficult day of the trek because the climb starts, we use helmets and harnesses because the ascent is a bit technical and there is some rock fall, the ascent is around 4 to 6 hours, when we get close to the top there might be some snow, once we are on top of the pass we might need cramptons and ropes, we start trekking towards the Chogolungma glacier and camp on the glacier moraine

Chogo Lungma (~7-8 Stunden)
Follow Chogo Lungma Glacier downstream. Massive crevasses, route-finding essential, we have a Spectacular view of Spantik (Golden Peak, 7,027m)
Exit onto the lateral moraine and camp there
Tag 7
Erreichen Sie Doko / Unterhalb von Chogo Lungma (~7-8 Stunden)
We trek to the end of the glacier system, Reconnect with shepherd trails. The trek is more stable now, we camp near a shepherd's hut
Tag 8
Wanderung nach Arandu(~7-8 Stunden)
Descend into the green valley terrain, we are close to the Arandu Valley. Beautiful pine forests and remote villages, you might meet a lot of local shepherds along the way. Final night in Arandu village (or nearby)
Tag 9
Arandu nach Skardu (mit dem Jeep)
Long jeep ride (~8–10 hrs depending on road condition)
Follow the Basha River down to Skardu
Tag 10

We rest in Skardu after a long adventurous journey, we celebrate and have our group dinner

Fliegen nach Islamabad
Check out from the hotel, transfer to Gilgit Airport, Fly to Islamabad, visit Faisal Mosque, Pakistan Monument, and Lok Virsa. Transfer to the Hotel in Islamabad. Drop off at the hotel after dinner. Overnight stay in Islamabad

Check out of the hotel after breakfast, and drop off at Islamabad Airport if needed. You may extend the stay if you want, with prior notice. Note: Post Hotel accommodations are not included
