Reiseroute

Da die Popularität des Kletterns und Trekkings in Tansania im Laufe der Jahre zugenommen hat, brauchte der Kilimanjaro natürlich ein paar alternative Routen und die Machame-Route hat zweifellos die abenteuerlustigeren Bergsteiger von der beliebten Marangu-Route weggelockt, die viele Jahre lang der Favorit war. Die Machame-Route gilt als eine der landschaftlich reizvollsten Wanderungen auf dem Berg und bietet ausgewiesene Zeltplätze an logistisch günstig gelegenen Orten, so dass die Trekkingzeiten und der Höhengewinn für alle Altersgruppen mit guter Kondition machbar sind.


Der Startpunkt am Machame Gate liegt auf 1800 Metern und wie bei allen anderen Routen führt der Weg sofort in dicht bewaldete afromontane Abschnitte, die dann langsam in eine Szene aus dem Jurapark übergehen, in der Riesen-Senecio die Landschaft durch die Heidekrautzonen durchzieht und schließlich in die alpine Wüste ausbricht. In den tiefer gelegenen Gebieten gibt es eine Vielzahl von Vögeln und auch die Chance, schwarz-weiße Colobus-Affen zu sehen. Der Höhenunterschied ist an den ersten 2 Tagen etwas groß, aber sobald man das Gebiet der Lavatürme erreicht hat, fällt man in den Baranco hinab und erreicht das Szenario "hoch schlafen niedrig".

Tag 1

Starten Sie den Aufstieg zum Machame Camp

Sie werden um 8:30 Uhr abgeholt und machen sich auf den Weg zum Machame Gate. Nachdem Sie die Parkgebühren bezahlt haben, tauchen Sie in den Schutz des natürlichen Regenwaldes ein, der den Unterlauf des Kilimandscharo umgibt. Dieser Teil der Wanderung ist sehr langsam und bietet großartige Fotomöglichkeiten, da die Sonnenstrahlen durch das dichte Blätterdach fallen und die Chance besteht, schwarz-weiße Colobus-Affen zu sehen.


Es gibt heißes Wasser, um sich vor dem Abendessen zu erfrischen. Genießen Sie die Stille des Berges, während sich die Nacht über das Machame Camp senkt.

Tag 2

Machame Camp nach Shira 1 Camp

Nach dem Frühstück brechen Sie Ihr Lager ab und setzen mit Picknickboxen Ihren Aufstieg fort, wobei Sie die Üppigkeit des Regenwaldes hinter sich lassen. Dieser Teil der Wanderung führt Sie entlang verschiedener Bergrücken, die mit buschigem Buschwerk bewachsen sind, das schließlich der robusteren alpinen Flora des offenen Plateaus weicht.


Für die Wanderung benötigen Sie 5 bis 6,5 Stunden, einschließlich Ihres Picknick-Mittagessens. Die Aussicht ist atemberaubend, wenn Sie an Höhe gewinnen. Auf der einen Seite erheben sich die sanften Umrisse des Kilimanjaro über Ihnen und in der Ferne erhebt sich der Mount Meru.

Tag 3

Shira 1 Camp zum Baranco Camp

Nach dem Frühstück beginnen Sie mit einem allmählichen Aufstieg, der Sie durch den niedrigen Alpenbusch führt. Die Vogelbeobachtung an diesen offenen Hängen kann sehr lohnend sein, da verschiedene Arten von Raubvögeln das Gestrüpp nach kleinen Säugetieren absuchen. Die Landschaft wechselt zu rostroten Moränenfeldern, während Sie weiter zum Lavaturm (4630 m) aufsteigen und schließlich zum Baranco Camp hinuntersteigen. Das Mittagessen wird auf dem Weg eingenommen. Dies ist ein guter Tag zur Akklimatisierung, da Sie eine höhere Höhe als die von Baranco erreichen. Die Gehzeit beträgt durchschnittlich 5 - 7 Stunden.

Baranco Camp zum Karanga Camp

Karanga Camp zum Barafu Camp

Heute Morgen fahren Sie um die Südseite des Berges herum und durchqueren die alpine Wüste und die Moränenfelder. Das Barafu Camp wird in 4,5 bis 6 Stunden erreicht. Entspannen Sie sich und genießen Sie die Ausblicke unter Ihnen. Ruhen Sie sich aus und versuchen Sie etwas zu schlafen, denn Sie werden gegen Mitternacht für Ihre letzte Herausforderung geweckt.

1. BOOKING AND PAYMENT

3. DESCRIPTIONS AND SERVICE

4. COMPLAINTS

5. CANCELLATION & REFUNDS
