Reiseroute

Startpunkt
Whitehorse International Airport (YXY), 91633 Alaska Hwy, Whitehorse, Yukon Y1A 6E6, Canada
11:00 - 20:30
Unterkunft: Hotel in Whitehorse
AUF SCHNELLEN SPUREN DURCH DEN SCHNEE
On the afternoon, we drive into the mountains closeby Whitehorse. After a detailed safety introduction we step on our snowmobiles. With enjoyable speed we’ll pass through the memorable winter scenery of the Yukon and soak up the view of snow covered mountains. With a snowmobile, the journey can be an exhilarating ride up and down magnificent mountains or a relaxing tour through the forest and down historic trails. Tonight is another chance to see the Aurora Borealis as we set out to the AuroraCentre. Accommodation: Hotel in Whitehorse
EISFISCHEN & SCHNEESCHUHWANDERN

KICKSLEDDING
On this kicksledding tour we will guide you through interesting wilderness routes in the most beautiful scenery in Yukon’s Winterwonderland. You will learn the basics of kicksledding and travel slight elevations on forest trails and on frozen lakes. The Kicksled’s snow and ice rails allow you to ride over snow drifts, across frozen lakes and even fresh powder snow. To manuever the Kicksled, you simply kick the ground between the rails like a scooter while riding on the foot plates on top of the metal rails behind the seat.
A kicksled is a human-powered equivalent of a husky sledge, for anyone who likes to set their own paste.
This night would be another great night to see the beautiful Aurora Borealis.
