El extremo norte ofrece las mejores actividades invernales de Canadá: motos de nieve, raquetas de nieve, pesca en el hielo, observación de la fauna salvaje, aguas termales, vuelos turísticos y observación de la Aurora Boreal. Durante este programa de invierno repleto de diversión, cenarás como un pescador, seguirás la pista como un estampador y explorarás como un lugareño.
Durante un espectacular vuelo panorámico sobre los alrededores de Whitehorse, tendrás la oportunidad de contemplar el grandioso paisaje del lejano norte. Te llevaremos a explorar la rica historia del Yukón durante un recorrido por la ciudad, a observar de cerca la fauna local en el Yukon Wildlife Preseve y a relajarte en las relajantes aguas termales de los manantiales locales. Siente la adrenalina de conducir una moto de nieve por el interior del país hasta magníficos miradores. Sal a un hermoso lago invernal para descubrir la tranquilidad de la pesca en el hielo. Si tienes suerte y pescas un buen pez, tu guía lo fileteará y lo cocinará en el fuego. En tres veladas a tu elección, viajarás justo fuera del centro de la ciudad, pero lo suficientemente lejos de las luces de la ciudad, a un idílico lugar de observación de auroras boreales, el AuroraCentre. Por la noche podrás contemplar la Aurora Boreal junto a una acogedora estufa de leña o una hoguera crepitante. Unas vacaciones de invierno están realmente completas con la oportunidad de ver la Aurora Boreal en cascada por el cielo nocturno.

Comenzamos el día con un vuelo panorámico de 30 minutos sobre el espectacular paisaje invernal. Durante el vuelo podremos disfrutar del invierno de Yukón desde un ángulo que muy pocas personas llegarán a ver. De vuelta a Whitehorse, descubriremos la historia del norte en un recorrido turístico por la ciudad. Whitehorse tiene mucho que ofrecer y alberga monumentos famosos como el histórico Paddlewheeler SS Klondike o un "Rascacielos" hecho completamente de troncos. Más tarde nos dirigiremos a la Reserva de Fauna Salvaje del Yukón, donde podremos ver de cerca animales de caza como el alce, el alce, el caribú, la cabra montés y el lince en su entorno natural. No muy lejos de aquí visitaremos las Termas Nórdicas Eclipse y nos deleitaremos en las aguas termales naturales y nos relajaremos en un impresionante entorno invernal de montaña. Tras una relajada cena en Whitehorse, volverás a la carretera, esta vez para buscar vistas de las impresionantes auroras boreales. POR PISTAS RÁPIDAS A TRAVÉS DE LA NIEVE
Por la tarde, nos adentramos en las montañas cercanas a Whitehorse. Tras una detallada introducción sobre seguridad, nos subimos a nuestras motos de nieve. A una velocidad agradable, atravesaremos los memorables paisajes invernales del Yukón y nos empaparemos de las vistas de las montañas cubiertas de nieve. Con una moto de nieve, el viaje puede ser un estimulante paseo subiendo y bajando magníficas montañas o un relajante recorrido por el bosque y por senderos históricos. PESCA EN HIELO Y RAQUETAS DE NIEVE
En el Yukón encontrarás algunas de las mejores pesquerías de Canadá de trucha de lago, lucio boreal, tímalo ártico, trucha arco iris y salvelino ártico. Acompáñanos en una aventura de pesca en el hielo y con raquetas de nieve en uno de los hermosos lagos de la zona de Whitehorse. Caminar con raquetas de nieve es una de las mejores formas de disfrutar de la tranquilidad de la naturaleza salvaje del Yukón y de fotografiar el impresionante paisaje yuconiano. Dependiendo de las condiciones, nuestro guía elegirá el lago ideal para tu experiencia de pesca en el hielo. Tras un breve trayecto en coche, dejaremos el vehículo aparcado junto a la orilla del lago y recorreremos los alrededores con raquetas de nieve hasta nuestro primer punto. Con la ayuda de un medidor de hielo, haremos un agujero en el hielo. ¡El hielo de un lago puede tener entre 30 cm y 1 m de grosor! Dispondremos de bebidas calientes y tentempiés para mantenernos calientes. Echa un vistazo y disfruta de la belleza de un día de invierno mientras esperas la gran captura.
Si tenemos suerte y pescamos una buena trucha, tu guía la fileteará y la cocinará en el fuego. Al final del día regresaremos a Whitehorse con una captura récord de la que guardaremos grandes recuerdos.

KICKSLEDDING
En esta excursión de kicksledding te guiaremos por interesantes rutas salvajes en los paisajes más bellos del País de las Maravillas Invernal de Yukón. Aprenderás los fundamentos del kicksled y recorrerás ligeras elevaciones por senderos forestales y lagos helados. Los raíles de nieve y hielo del Kicksled te permiten pasar por encima de ventisqueros, cruzar lagos helados e incluso nieve en polvo fresca. Para maniobrar el Kicksled, sólo tienes que patear el suelo entre los raíles como si fuera un patinete, mientras te apoyas en los reposapiés situados encima de los raíles metálicos situados detrás del asiento.
Un kicksled es el equivalente a un trineo de huskies propulsado por tracción humana, para quien le guste marcarse su propia pasta.
Esta noche sería otra noche estupenda para ver la hermosa Aurora Boreal.

If the minimum number of participants has not been reached, we reserve the right to cancel a tour up to 14 days prior to start of the tour. You will be notified immediately and you are entitled to a full refund if you are unable to join one of our other departures. If we or our partners are forced to change the itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances, like forest fires, floods, breakdowns, all decisions are left to the discretion of the tour guide.
Charter Services & Custom Programs are subject to a deposit and cancellation policy that is different from our standard payment & cancellation policy. We reserve the right to charge additional deposit or full payment at the time of booking. You will be advised at time of exact deposit and cancellation terms.
LIMITATION OF RESPONSIBILITY
Arctic Range Adventure chooses its suppliers (e.g. hotels, carriers and other suppliers providing tour services) with great care. These suppliers are, however, independent contractors and Canadian Arctic Range Adventure cannot be held responsible or liable for their acts or omissions.
For all activity programs (i.e., but not limited to, river rafting, horseback riding, canoeing, hiking, sightseeing etc.) in Canada and USA clients will have to sign a “waiver of liability”. The tour operator and wholesaler is under the obligation to inform the client in time that a waiver of liability has to be signed at the beginning of the program. Arctic Range Adventure will, of course, always do its best to ensure the greatest possible safety for all its clients.
Arctic Range Adventure can also not be held liable for changes in tour itineraries due to weather conditions, acts of God or special conditions beyond our control.
All costs that may result from any delays of passengers at the airport or any delays that might occur at the end of the trip are the responsibility of the client. Arctic Range Adventure cannot be held liable.
Furthermore, Arctic Range Adventure cannot be held liable for the contents of any brochure prepared by a wholesaler or tour operator and any misrepresentation of our tours therein.
Should clients encounter problems during their trip they are required to contact Arctic Range Adventure immediately in order to solve the problem. Should a written account of concern be filed, it has to be sent to Arctic Range Adventure within 4 weeks of completion of trip. Claims received after that date cannot be considered.
An all inclusive accident- and luggage insurance for your tour is very important and highly recommended.
