Arrival at Anshi National Park & Registration
Upon reaching the park, complete the entry formalities and meet your naturalist guide. Gain a brief overview of the park’s ecological significance, its wildlife population, and ongoing conservation efforts within the Kali Tiger Reserve.

You can enjoy lunch at a local restaurant on a direct payment basis. Savor traditional regional dishes, offering an authentic taste of Karnataka cuisine before your afternoon adventure.
Jeep Safari Adventure (2:30 PM to 5:30 PM)
Board a sturdy, open-top 4x4 safari jeep and venture deep into the park’s thick forests and rugged trails. The safari presents excellent chances to spot Indian elephants gracefully moving through the jungle, herds of gaurs (Indian bison), playful langurs, and sambar deer grazing in open meadows. With luck, you may also encounter the elusive black panther, leopards, or signs of the majestic tiger.
The park's rich birdlife features hornbills, kingfishers, Malabar pied hornbills, and many other vibrant species that delight birdwatchers. Your guide will highlight animal behaviors, medicinal plants, and the unique biodiversity thriving in this UNESCO-listed Western Ghats habitat. The approximately three-hour safari covers varied terrains including bamboo groves, evergreen forest patches, and tranquil water bodies, offering countless photographic opportunities.

The Forest Department provides a government-appointed naturalist for the jeep safari. Their spoken English abilities may be basic, and the quality of wildlife explanation can vary. Guests seeking detailed interpretation in fluent English are advised to set expectations accordingly.
Return Journey to Goa
After your wildlife exploration, relax during the scenic drive back to Goa. Reflect on your wildlife encounters and enjoy the peaceful countryside as you return to your hotel.
