Travel with us around the region’s most exclusive golf resorts, while eating superb food, drinking fine wine and relaxing in enchanting thermal baths & SPA’s.
Cultural visits to the regions most idyllic towns, guided tours of wineries and gentle strolls among beautiful landscapes, will complete the experience and leave you to return home with most amazing memories ever.
The tour has been carefully put together to meet the desires of golfers while at the same time offering exciting optional activities for any non golfing partner wishing to join on the holiday. The tour visits the most beautiful areas of Italy, from the Argentario coast line, to the wine areas of Brunello and Chianti, and north to the medieval cities of Siena and San Gimignano.
We meet at Rome Airport at 13.00 and drive to beautiful walled town of Tarquinia for a coffee and a stroll.
A short drive then takes us to the Argentario Golf Resort and SPA, where we settle into the hotel and relax in the charming countryside. Dinner will be in Hotel’s excellent restaurant, accompanied by a tasting of local wines.

We start our day with a round of golf in the 18 panoramic holes of the Argentario Resort. This Par 71 golf course is located in a protected natural area, between the sea, the hillside and the Orbetello Lagoon. The holes feature mostly small greens, two on the sea and the lagoon, one immersed in the Mediterranean vegetation, and another features a water hazard running along one side of the green.
Lunch will be at the club house.
After some time to relax and swim in the resorts pool, we head for a stroll and aperitif in the lagoon town of Orbetello. This area traces its history back to Roman times, and we will see this very clearly, when we head to the nearby costal hamlet of Porto Ercole, for a waterfront dinner.

Having discovered the Argentario course, we now play a second round and truly perform at our best.
After lunch we head to the nearby Tarot Gardens, an open air art gallery with unique, massive and eclectic statues, created by the French-American artist Niki de Saint Phalle (1930–2002). A short drive takes us to the hill town of Capalbio, which you can explore at your own leisure, before we meet to enjoy a mushroom themed dinner, in the town best known restaurant.

Today we leave the Argenatio behind and head inland to our next destination. On the way we stop in the Etruscan walled town of Volterra, where we will see its marble cathedral, alabaster monuments and a roman amphitheatre. Here you can enjoy some free time in the town, taste truffles in the local shops and have lunch at your own leisure.
After lunch a short drive takes us to the Castelfalfi Resort, which has one of Italy’s most exclusive golf course, complete with 27 holes. Here we play 1 or 2 rounds in its 9 hole Lake course.
Dinner will be at the hotel, prepared by its famous gourmet chef, in a private dinning room, reserved all for us.

This morning we play the 18 hole mountain course at the Castelfalfi Golf Resort, a Par 72 Championship course, with steeps slopes immersed in an oak forest. Lunch will be at the club house.
In afternoon, after some down time, we head to San Gimignano, to explore this UNESCO world heritage town, stroll through the streets and taste its famous Vernaccia white wine.
As San Gimignano is at it’s most charming in the evening, once it quietness down, we will be staying in town for dinner.
GOLF: 18 hole Championship mountain Course

In the morning we head to Siena for a walking tour of this majestic City, which together with Florence, was at the heart of the Italian Renaissance. Famous for its Palio horse race, the magnificent gothic Cathedral and for being the home to the first Bank in the world, this cultural center has much to offer, not least of all delicious local almond Pastries.
A lunch, a short drive takes us to our final Golf destination of the week, The Royal Golf La Bagnaia. This majestic course, designed by renowned architect Robert Trent Jones, Jr. was recently awarded the Best Golf Course in Italy in 2023.
It is a Par 71, which is 6,101 metres long, covers an area of 1300 hectares and is perfectly harmonised within the gently rolling hills of Siena. The course is unique and unexpected in its similarity to Inland Links of the Scottish Highlands with “Rough” that waves in the wind. The course is enhanced by beautiful lakes and incredible views of the medieval city of Siena from every hole.
Tonight we will have authentic Italian pizza made for us in a wood fired oven.

Our final round of Golf will be played here at La Bagnaia, and will be a Championship Match, to decide the winner for the week, and give out prizes.
In the afternoon, we head to Montalcino to taste world renowned Brunello wine. Here we visit one of the town best wineries, meet the winemaking family, and taste their delicious wine.
Our last dinner will be back at the resort, accompanied by even more Brunello, to close out an incredible week of golf and fun.

We set off from the hotel after breakfast, to arrive at Rome Fiumicino Airport by 12.00, where we all go our separate ways.
