План подорожі
Are you thinking of taking a side trip off the famous Annapurna Circuit to the hidden territory of Nepal? Then, Nar Phu Valley Trek befits you perfectly. An awe-inspiring experience with a touch of the Himalayan wilderness; Nar Phu Valley trek takes travel enthusiasts and trekkers across pristine and unheeded Nar Phu Valley. Positioned between frequently travelled Annapurna and Manaslu regions; the very valley welcomes a low volume of visitors each year, which was recently unlocked in 2002 A.D. Furthermore, Nar Phu region is celebrated as a true crown jewel that extends trekkers a window of opportunity to explore untouched valleys, which valleys highlights a unique blend of uninfluenced Himalayan landscape and classic Buddhist culture. A trek to Nar Phu Valley demands a special permit as it is declared a restricted area by the government of Nepal. As exciting as it sounds, this remarkable trek is positioned over one of the highest trekking passes in the region showcasing scenic medieval settlements, taper gorges, and a flock of blue sheep.
Succeeding a delightful sightseeing tour in Kathmandu, we drive to Jagat. This point onwards, we commence our trekking journey on the trail that initially pursues the well-renowned Annapurna Circuit to Koto via Dharapani. At Koto, the trail splits and an off beaten path lead us to Nar Phu Valley region. This pristine region features alpine as well as sun-alpine scrubland that provides a safe haven to wildlife such as Snow leopard and Blue Sheep. Accompanied by elegant vistas of snow-capped mountaintops as a backdrop; this exhilarating trekking trail progresses beyond numerous faraway settlements, breathtaking rock formations, snowy glaciers, taper canyons, elegant woodlands, colorful prayer stones, monasteries, and Gompas. Along the way, we also get a taste of warm hospitality from the natives and get acquainted with their ethnic culture. Actually, Nar and Phu are two different villages that together include more than one hundred houses inhabited by natives of Tibetan origin who are dependent on Yak rearing and salt trade as their livelihood. These two villages bestow an insight into the lifestyle and customs of native ‘Bhote’ communities. It is not just that two villages in the valley, during the trek; you can witness Jhunam, Chyarkha, Meta and Khayang en route. A little while back, Annapurna Conservation Project (ACAP) has enlarged its network to include Nar and Phu Valley in order to establish sustainable tourism within this concealed territory. Apart from these, we’ll also observe the sublime outlooks embracing Annapurna II, Himlung Himal, Gangapurna, and Tilicho Peak.
After exploring Nar Phu valley, we now traverse Kang La Pass (5,322m) from Nar to Ngwal. Subsequently, we advance back into the Annapurna Circuit and reach Manang. This time, we’ll witness arid and desert-like terrain as we trek to holy Muktinath via Yak Kharka and Thorong Phedi. Beyond green paddy farmlands, oak forests, arid landscapes, elegant mountain vistas, and the world’s deepest gorge; we set our foot in Jomsom, the district headquarter of Mustang. Finally, from here, we fly back to Pokhara then to Kathmandu.
