Who would not like to be part of this goal to touch the sky and write the name of a history book that will represent many years of upcoming generations to inspire for? Of course, every one of us dreams of summiting Mount Everest, the highest mountain in the world. Now or never, it is a good time for you to get started on this journey of a lifetime to make history by summating this adorable mountain. Let’s step out to be on top of the world.

Mt Everest climbing has proved to be a benchmark of climbing achievement. Every year, the mountain receives thousands of people attempting both ways from southern Nepal and the northern side from Tibet as Mount Everest stands on the border of Nepal and China (Tibet).  Since then the southern approach to the mountain via the Khumbu Valley became popular among the climbers. Mt. Everest was first summitted in 1953 by Tenzing Norgay Sherpa and Edmund Hillary via the South Col. Climbing Mt. Everest is certainly a lifetime opportunity. Its luminously crowned snow-capped peak rises boldly against the bright blue skies. It has a massif of peaks that surround it including Mt. Lhotse (8,516 m/27,940 ft) Mt. Nuptse (7,855 m/25,771 ft) and Mt. Changtse (7,580 m/24,870 ft.) However, Everest expeditions encounter many seen and unseen obstacles including high altitude, harsh weather conditions, and even sheer exhaustion. Therefore, we strive hard to conduct the best expedition program putting high importance on the safety aspects of the climb.

Day 13-57: Conquering Everest and Back

This is what you have come for, and what a trip. It will take about one month to climb Mt. Everest as we stop several times to rest and acclimatize. It is best to climb slowly, even with oxygen. The higher air is thin, but with slow climbing and determination, you can do it. This is where experienced guides make a big difference. Because of our experience, we know the route and the best way to deal with any problems that may arise. The return trip takes far less time, but we move just as cautiously. The thrill of the adventure is combined with safety for our people. We will return to Everest Base Camp on day 57.

Day 58

Everest Base Camp to Pheruche

This is a day of rest. We pack up the tents that have been our home for 43 days and stow away equipment. This will be our last night in the tents as we also clean up around Everest Base Camp.
