The Greek Adventure Web Site is comprised of various Web pages operated by Greek Adventure.

The Greek Adventure Web Site is offered to you conditioned on your acceptance without modification of the terms, conditions, and notices contained herein. Your use of the Greek Adventure Web Site constitutes your agreement to all such terms, conditions, and notices.

MODIFICATION OF THESE TERMS OF USE

Greek Adventure reserves the right to change the terms, conditions, and notices under which the Greek Adventure Web Site is offered, including but not limited to the charges associated with the use of the Greek Adventure Web Site.

LINKS TO THIRD PARTY SITES

The Greek Adventure Web Site may contain links to other Web Sites ("Linked Sites"). The Linked Sites are not under the control of Greek Adventure and Greek Adventure is not responsible for the contents of any Linked Site, including without limitation any link contained in a Linked Site, or any changes or updates to a Linked Site. Greek Adventure is not responsible for webcasting or any other form of transmission received from any Linked Site. Greek Adventure is providing these links to you only as a convenience, and the inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by Greek Adventure of the site or any association with its operators.

NO UNLAWFUL OR PROHIBITED USE

As a condition of your use of the Greek Adventure Web Site, you warrant to Greek Adventure that you will not use the Greek Adventure Web Site for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these terms, conditions, and notices. You may not use the Greek Adventure Web Site in any manner which could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Greek Adventure Web Site or interfere with any other party's use and enjoyment of the Greek Adventure Web Site. You may not obtain or attempt to obtain any materials or information through any means not intentionally made available or provided for through the Greek Adventure Web Sites.

The Greek Adventure Web Site may contain bulletin board services, chat areas, news groups, forums, communities, personal web pages, calendars, and/or other message or communication facilities designed to enable you to communicate with the public at large or with a group (collectively, "Communication Services"), you agree to use the Communication Services only to post, send and receive messages and material that are proper and related to the particular Communication Service. By way of example, and not as a limitation, you agree that when using a Communication Service, you will not:

Defame, abuse, harass, stalk, threaten or otherwise violate the legal rights (such as rights of privacy and publicity) of others.

Restrict or inhibit any other user from using and enjoying the Communication Services.

Violate any code of conduct or other guidelines which may be applicable for any particular Communication Service.

Harvest or otherwise collect information about others, including e-mail addresses, without their consent.

Violate any applicable laws or regulations.

Greek Adventure has no obligation to monitor the Communication Services. However, Greek Adventure reserves the right to review materials posted to a Communication Service and to remove any materials in its sole discretion. Greek Adventure reserves the right to terminate your access to any or all of the Communication Services at any time without notice for any reason whatsoever.

Greek Adventure reserves the right at all times to disclose any information as necessary to satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request, or to edit, refuse to post or to remove any information or materials, in whole or in part, in Greek Adventure's sole discretion.

Always use caution when giving out any personally identifying information about yourself or your children in any Communication Service. Greek Adventure does not control or endorse the content, messages or information found in any Communication Service and, therefore, Greek Adventure specifically disclaims any liability with regard to the Communication Services and any actions resulting from your participation in any Communication Service. Managers and hosts are not authorized Greek Adventure spokespersons, and their views do not necessarily reflect those of Greek Adventure.

Materials uploaded to a Communication Service may be subject to posted limitations on usage, reproduction and/or dissemination. You are responsible for adhering to such limitations if you download the materials.

MATERIALS PROVIDED TO Greek Adventure OR POSTED AT ANY Greek Adventure WEB SITE

Greek Adventure does not claim ownership of the materials you provide to Greek Adventure (including feedback and suggestions) or post, upload, input or submit to any Greek Adventure Web Site or its associated services (collectively "Submissions"). However, by posting, uploading, inputting, providing or submitting your Submission you are granting Greek Adventure, its affiliated companies and necessary sublicensees permission to use your Submission in connection with the operation of their Internet businesses including, without limitation, the rights to: copy, distribute, transmit, publicly display, publicly perform, reproduce, edit, translate and reformat your Submission; and to publish your name in connection with your Submission.

No compensation will be paid with respect to the use of your Submission, as provided herein. Greek Adventure is under no obligation to post or use any Submission you may provide and may remove any Submission at any time in Greek Adventure's sole discretion.

By posting, uploading, inputting, providing or submitting your Submission you warrant and represent that you own or otherwise control all of the rights to your Submission as described in this section including, without limitation, all the rights necessary for you to provide, post, upload, input or submit the Submissions.

TERMINATION/ACCESS RESTRICTION

Greek Adventure reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate your access to the Greek Adventure Web Site and the related services or any portion thereof at any time, without notice. GENERAL To the maximum extent permitted by law, this agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Washington, U.S.A. and you hereby consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of courts in San Mateo County, California, U.S.A. in all disputes arising out of or relating to the use of the Greek Adventure Web Site. Use of the Greek Adventure Web Site is unauthorized in any jurisdiction that does not give effect to all provisions of these terms and conditions, including without limitation this paragraph. You agree that no joint venture, partnership, employment, or agency relationship exists between you and Greek Adventure as a result of this agreement or use of the Greek Adventure Web Site. Greek Adventure's performance of this agreement is subject to existing laws and legal process, and nothing contained in this agreement is in derogation of Greek Adventure's right to comply with governmental, court and law enforcement requests or requirements relating to your use of the Greek Adventure Web Site or information provided to or gathered by Greek Adventure with respect to such use. If any part of this agreement is determined to be invalid or unenforceable pursuant to applicable law including, but not limited to, the warranty disclaimers and liability limitations set forth above, then the invalid or unenforceable provision will be deemed superseded by a valid, enforceable provision that most closely matches the intent of the original provision and the remainder of the agreement shall continue in effect. Unless otherwise specified herein, this agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the user and Greek Adventure with respect to the Greek Adventure Web Site and it supersedes all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether electronic, oral or written, between the user and Greek Adventure with respect to the Greek Adventure Web Site. A printed version of this agreement and of any notice given in electronic form shall be admissible in judicial or administrative proceedings based upon or relating to this agreement to the same extent an d subject to the same conditions as other business documents and records originally generated and maintained in printed form. It is the express wish to the parties that this agreement and all related documents be drawn up in English.

NOTICES AND PROCEDURE FOR MAKING CLAIMS OF COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT

General obligations of Greek Adventure (GA) regarding activities

• We expect participants to be reasonably mentally and physically fit, not under influence of alcohol or any other drugs or medicines.
• Minimum number of participants: We have the right to cancel the tour if the number of participants is less than the minimum.
• GA advises against participation in high difficulty activities to pregnant women, persons with serious health problems or injuries.
• GA reserves the right to cancel or drop the activity in the case of bad weather or other circumstances. If GA cancels the trip you are entitled to full refund of your reservation.
• After the participant receives the obligatory activity equipment he is not entitled to a refund (in the case of change of mind). If the trip duration was reduced due to the participant lack of physical condition, there is also no refund.
• Activity lasts from the starting point of the tour (when the participant meets with the guide) and ends as he arrives to the ending point of the tour. GA takes no responsibility for injuries, occurred outside the course of the trip.
• GA takes no responsibility for injuries, caused in opposition to these general obligations or in the case the participant neglects to follow the guide`s instructions.
• Persons with health problems must inform the instructors or the authorized employee of the GA before the activity commences.
• Any injury that events during the trip, should be reported immediately to the instructor or the authorized employee of GA. GA will not consider injuries, reported at a later stage.
• GA takes digital photos and videos of participants during the trip and therefore reserves the right to use the photos or videos for internal and promotional purposes. Photos and videos, made by GA are property of GA.
• GA takes no responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged personal items.
• Reservation can be made by phone, e-mail or through web application.
• A deposit of 30% of the total invoice must be competed to confirm a reservation.
• No-show policy: If participants without prior notice do not appear, they are not entitled to any refund.
• Prices are in euro and per person. Prices include VAT and all local taxes. GA reserves the right to change prices without warning.
• GA reserves the right to change the general obligations at any time and in any manner for any reason and without warning.
• Your personal information provided to the Greek Adventure with your consent and knowledge received that can be the subject of personal data in accordance with law no. 2472/1997 as amended by law no. 3471/2006 by Greek Government. Retained the right to access, at any time, your personal data in order to request and receive, without delay and in an understandable and clear, the purpose of the processing and the recipients. You also have the right, under Articles 11 to 13 of Law. 2472/1997, view any object you want or refusal future use of your data. In this case, you are obliged to send the Greek Adventure your refusal, stating your full details (Name / alter, address, photocopy of identity card) to the email address: [email protected]. Greek Adventure declares not hold or process but data items and does not include sensitive information, such as those listed in Article 2, paragraph b of Law. 2472/1997. Greek Adventure can make use of the personal data you provide on-line to come into contact with you and send you offer Greek Adventure and information material if desired. Moreover, Greek Adventure does not share this information with third parties.

Payment

A 30 % deposit is required at booking. The remaining 70% must be received at least 7 days before arrival. GA has the right to cancel a reservation in case the payment has not been received within the agreed terms. Payment can be made by a bank transfer.

Cancellations

In the event the client wishes to change or cancel a confirmed reservation he/she must do so in writing (via e-mail). Changes or cancellations by telephone are not permitted and will not be accepted. In the event that the client should request to make a change or cancel a confirmed reservation, the date on which the written cancellation is received, during regular GA’s working hours, will represent the basis for the cost calculation. If the written cancellation is received outside regular GA’s working hours, the cancellation date which will represent the ground for calculating cancellation costs will be the following working day of GA.

The cancellation charges will be calculated as follows:

• 7 days or more before the arrival: full refund
• 3 to 6 days before the arrival: 50% of the total amount
• less than 3 days before the arrival: 100% of the total amount

General obligations of Greek Adventure (GA) regarding packages

Reservation

All reservations must be made by email. By confirming a reservation, the customer confirms that he/she is aware of the Terms and Conditions of GA and fully comprehends and accepts these terms.

To guarantee the reservation a 30% deposit is required. For bookings made within 14 days of arrival, full payment is required. The customer is obligated to provide any information required for the reservation process.

Booking Confirmation

Upon receiving a booking, we will send you written confirmation. With written confirmation we guarantee all services as per our program.

Payment

A 30 % deposit is required at booking. The remaining 70% must be received at least 14 days before arrival. GA has the right to cancel a reservation in case the payment has not been received within the agreed terms. Payment can be made by a bank transfer.

Client’s Obligations

• Have valid travel documentation
• Respect and abide by all customs and foreign exchange regulations of the destination country
• Respect and abide by all customs and foreign exchange regulations as well as the laws and other regulations of the Greek Government as well as other countries through which he/she passes through or resides in.
• Inquire whether or not he/she requires a visa for the destination country as well as neighboring countries.
• In the event the client is unable to continue the trip as a result of being in direct violation of these regulations, the traveler is responsible for all related expenses.
• Abide by the house rules of the accommodation unit as well as cooperate with the service provider in a well – intentioned manner.
• Present the service provider in the document proving paid service (voucher received via e-mail or fax).
• Announce the intention of bringing a pet into the accommodation unit, even if the accommodation unit is described as a pet friendly accommodation, as well as announce the type and size of the pet.

Offers

GA ensures services according to the information published and valid at the time of the confirmation of reservation, and according to the description and travel period in accordance with confirmed reservations except in circumstances beyond GA’s control such as illness of the service provider or his/her immediate family, outstanding circumstances which cannot be foreseen nor eliminated (natural disasters such as earthquakes, floods, sanitary disruptions, fires, droughts, wars, strike, terrorist actions and limitations issued by the government mobilization, country exit ban).

Reservations Changes

Every change in the reservation has to be previously confirmed and agreed from GA.

Cancellations

In the event the client wishes to change or cancel a confirmed reservation he/she must do so in writing (via e-mail). Changes or cancellations by telephone are not permitted and will not be accepted. In the event that the client should request to make a change or cancel a confirmed reservation, the date on which the written cancellation is received, during regular GA’s working hours, will represent the basis for the cost calculation. If the written cancellation is received outside regular GA’s working hours, the cancellation date which will represent the ground for calculating cancellation costs will be the following working day of GA.

The cancellation charges will be calculated as follows:

More than 30 days before arrival date, 10% of the total amount, but not less than 20 €

29-21 days before arrival date, 20% of the total amount

20-14 days before arrival date, 30% of the total amount

13-10 days before arrival date, 50% of the total amount

9-4 days before arrival date, 80% of the total amount

3-0 days before arrival date, 100% of the total amount

In the case of no-show, all reserved services will be charged.

Complaints

Each customer – reservation holder has a right to file a complaint if the paid service was not provided. If the services provided are not satisfactory, the customer is required to immediately notify GA about the inadequate service and file a complaint on the day of his/her arrival at the location of the service provider and to inform GA office by email at [email protected]. The customer is obligated to cooperate with GA’s representative as well as with the service provider in a well-intentioned manner so that the cause of the complaint can be resolved. If upon arrival the customer is not satisfied with the state of the accommodation and leaves the accommodation on his own initiative and finds another accommodation without giving GA a chance to resolve the issue, correct the cause of the discontent, or find other accommodation for the client, the client does not have a right to request a refund or make a claim for compensation, regardless of the fact that his/her reasons were justified or not.

The client should accept the proposed solution which corresponds with the service rendered on the spot, GA will not take additional complaints into consideration or respond to them.

If the problem is not resolved on the spot following an intervention, the client is obligated to submit a written complaint along with supporting documents as well as any photographs to support the complaint to the agency by e-mail at [email protected], not later than 60 days following the return of the client from his/her trip. GA shall only take into consideration fully documented complaints which are received within the 60-day deadline.

GA is obligated to make a written solution to the complaint within 8 days of receipt of the written complaint. GA can postpone the deadline in order to collect the evidence and check the claim quotes with the service provider but not for more than 8 days. GA will take into consideration only those claims whose cause could not be resolved on the spot.

GA cannot be held responsible for climate conditions, cleanliness, and the temperature of the river, nor for other similar situations and events which can result in the dissatisfaction of clients and are not a direct result of the accommodation unit (for example, bad weather, improperly maintained beaches, crowds, lost or stolen property and such).

If the customer decides to book the special LAST MINUTE deal, then he accepts all risks of such travel. These journeys include the uncertainty of the facts upon which the agency cannot influence, and the customer primarily due to the price accepted such a trip and therefore has no right of complaint to the agency.

GA’s rights to Changes and Cancellations

GA reserves the right to make changes of reservations in the event of circumstances which cannot be predicted, avoided or eliminated. A reserved accommodation unit can only be changed with prior notification to the traveler for an accommodation unit of the same category or of a higher category and at the price at which the client confirmed the reservation. If the replacement accommodation is only possible in a higher-category unit where the price is 15% higher than the price of the paid reservation, GA reserves the right to charge the client for the difference in agreement with the client. In the event a replacement accommodation unit cannot be arranged, GA reserves the right to cancel the reservation and notify the client prior to the beginning of the service and guarantees a full refund of the paid amount. If GA cancels a reservation, the traveler is not entitled to any compensation from GA and GA is only obligated to refund the amount paid to GA’s account. If an adequate replacement unit is not available on the day of the commencement of the service, GA will make an effort to provide the client with information on possible alternative arrangements.

Personal Information

The client provides personal information of his/her own free will. Personal information is required for processing requested services. The same information shall be used for intercommunication. GA is under obligation that the personal information about the client will not be taken out of the country or given to a third party except for the purpose of carrying out requested services. The personal information will be kept in a database in accordance with the Management’s decision on the method used for collecting, processing and securing personal information. With the acceptance of these General Terms, the client gives permission for his/her personal information to be used for promotional offers of the Agency.

Liability

GA will not accept any responsibility in the event of delay or changes in schedules, defaults or over bookings of hotels, sickness, death, weather changes & conditions, strikes, war, political instability, quarantine and other causes beyond our control. We reserve the right to vary itineraries in order to improve the itinerary, to the customer’s enjoyment and advantage.
