Ghorepani Poon Hill Mardi Himal Trek - 11 Days

Upon your arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, the Adventure Himalayan representatives will pick you up and transfer you to the hotel. After refreshment, you will be briefed in short about your tour by our guide or tour leader. If you have any questions or doubts about your trip then they should be asked and clarified at this time. Overnight stay at hotel.

Around 6:30 AM we will leave from the hotel for scenic drive towards Pokhara along the Prithivi Highway (approx 6 hours). Besides the wonderful drive along the great natural landscape, you will also have the chances to view rural communities and their range of culture along the Highway. Overnight stay at hotel.

At morning your Guide and Porter will be in your hotel then drive with the Jeep to Ulleri.It will take 2-3 hrs drive from Pokhara to Ulleri village with the scenic view of Pokhara valley, rivers, and mountain villages. After reaching Ulleri we will start our proper trek to Ghorepani. Lunch will be on the way somewhere which will be decided by the guide. We will see Mt. Annapurna south, Heuchuli and Mt. fishtail peak at some point but the trail is almost inside the Rhodondren forest, rivers. From Ghorepani, we will able to see Dhaulagiri, Annapurna ranges and more other peaks. Over night at Lodge.

Wake up to catch the early morning sunrise view over the snowcapped Himalayas. Poon Hill is the best viewpoint in the ammapurna region for panoramic mountain views. It’s extremely breathtaking and the views of Annapurna, Manaslu, Dhaulagiri, Fishtail and the surrounding strike you. Hiking down to Ghorepani, have a breakfast and trek further to Tadapani Via Deurali.Deurali is another beautiful place to see the Mountains and the landscapes which is one and half hours walk from Ghorepani.After Deurali the trails is almost downhill to Banthati at the place of lunch.Passing through rhododendron forest,rivers towards to Tadapani. Enjoy the morning breakfast with the glorious sunrise and mountain views from your lodge. After the Breakfast start the trek to Landruk via Ghandrok.The trail to Ghandruk descends steeply through lush forests. We will pass through Ghandruk village one of the biggest Gurung in this area. We will arrive to our destination around noon in Landruk. Overnight at Lodge.

After breakfast we will start to trek. Today the trail is quite difficult because we will be walking almost inside the Rhododendron forest. We will not see views and a peaceful walk towards to Forest Camp. As its name we will be in the middle of the forest and we will not see any mountain views from here.Depends on your walking time we will try to push 30 min more from Forest Camp to Rest camp if time permits. Rest Camp is near to Forest camp and from here we can see Mt. Fishtail and the sunrise are beautiful from here.

After Breakfast start the trek. We will be passing through the forest up to Low Camp and from low camp, we can see Mt. Fishtail full image. 45 Min walk from Low Camp to Badal danda and after that, the vegetation is completely different. On a clear day, we can see beautiful views of Annapurna South, Heuchuli, Mt. Fishtail. We will have lunch at Badal Danda and trek to High Camp. The evening view is beautiful from High Camp.

At morning we will start walking 3-4 in the morning to reach a Viewpoint for sunrise. Your breakfast will be packed and the guide will give you in the morning. Don't forget to put headlight with you and we will be walking in the dark. Nearly 2 hrs walk from High Camp to Mardi Himal viewpoint, enjoy the breathtaking view from the upper viewpoint. After enjoying the morning views we will hike back to High Camp. Lunch at High Camp and trek to Badal Danda.

Our last breakfast in the mountain, if you like to see the sunrise wake up early morning and get on the right spot. The trail will meet to Low camp where we came before and after low camp descending all the way to Siding village. We will have lunch at the siding and then drive to Pokhara.

You have breakfast being of the early morning. Then drive from Pokhara to kathmandu  by touridt Bus., which takes about seven hours. While driving from Pokhara to kathmandu  you could enjoy the mountain views, green sceneries, rice terrace fields, vegetable fields and people being engaged in their daily life activities. From Naubishe you climb up to Thankot, the gateway to capital city via kathmandu  Overnight Stay at kathmandu. 

On the 10th day, you will board a flight back to your home country from the Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu. We look forward to seeing you again soon!
