Exploring The Hidden Trails of Northeast and Northwest Vietnam ( Sapa - Ha Giang Loop)- 8 Days/ 7 Night

OPTION 1

3:00 PM: Limousine pick you up at your hotel. Around 10 PM checkin our hostel in Ha Giang City. Relax in a private room and have a good night before your journey tomorrow.

7:30PM: Pick you up from hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter

8:00 -8:30 PM: Meet the group at meeting point, have some free tea and coffee. Get on a comfort Sleeper bus to Ha Giang. Checking in our Hotel in Ha Giang City in early morning around 3 AM and offering yourself a nap in a private room

8:00 AM: Have breakfast, meet tour guide and local easy rider, have a brief tour information with our guide before your departure.

9:00 AM: Your adventure starts toward Dong Van stone plateau.

11:30 AM: Lunch will be served in Yen Minh Town.

1:30 PM: Continue to drive through the picturesque Chin Khoanh Pass to Dong Van Town. Checkin Tham Ma Slope – where you can checkin with these old women wearing the traditional customs and many coloursful buckwheat flowers. Next, visit the ancient architecture Hmong King’s Palace, the one-hundred-year-old palace of Vuong Chinh Duc – the King of H’mong people.

5:00 PM: Arrive to Dong Van Town, checkin hotel and enjoy the dinner. Free time after dinner to discover the ancient town at night.

Today you will explore the Dong Van stone plateau – the global geological park. Passing over 100km of pass with folded folding crotch to the middle of the deep abyss, tourists can take chance to cool off and inhale a good dose of revitalizing oxygen while admiring the wild and majestic scenery of the Dong Van stone plateau.

8:40 AM: After breakfast, begin the day by the new experience “Go to the Dong Van Market” (if it’s Sunday, you have a chance to see the Dong Van weekly local fair where the locals trade and exchange all goods for their life). 

10:00 AM: Continuing the adventure, we come to Ma Pi Leng Pass. you’ll have the opportunity to trek the Sky Path and take a panoramic view of Nho Que River from the pass. On the way to through the rustic villages and epic mountains of Meo Vac, Mau Due and Lung Ho, we visit the waterfall where you can swim and relax there. 

After that, we spent a night at Cheers Lodge, located in the middle of green rice fields. Here, we and newcomers will have a really big party with home-cooked dinner by the local host family. Don’t forget to try the “Happy Water” – the Corn Wine, which is so unique and brings your party to the next level.

This is the last day of your Ha Giang Loop journey, let’s wake up to enjoy the peacefulness of local’s daily life in the beginning of the day's light.

8:30 AM: Enjoy the breakfast with a cup of tea, say goodbye to the host locals and on the way back to Ha Giang city. 

10:30 AM: Visit Lung Tam - The village is occupied by Hmong ethnic minorities, who are skillful textile products. We then cross Quan Ba, have lunch there and catch on your eyes the Fairy mountain. After crossing Sky Gate, we pass back by Bac Sum Pass and go back to Ha Giang late afternoon.

4:00 -4h30 PM: get on Limousine/ sleeping bus to Sapa.

11h00 PM. Arrival Sapa. Drop off your hotel. Overnight in Sapa.

Transport: Motorbike with Easy Rider 80 Km (from Du Gia to Ha Giang city)  – Limousine/sleeping bus (Hagiang to Sapa).

9:00 Visit Sapa church before Start the trip as below.

12 km of trekking, visit Y Linh Ho and Lao Chai villages of the H’mong minority. after lunch at a local family in Lao Chai or in a drinking shop nearby the river bank, we keep on hiking to Ta Van village of the Dzay where we stay overnight in a local family. Here you have opportunity to experience their daily life, work and original custom.

Start trekking at 9:30 Am

8 km walking to visit 2 villages of the red Dzao, the H’mong (Giang Ta Chai & Su Pan). Visit a beautiful waterfall and rattan bridge. Enjoy landscapes… through bamboo forest on the way to the main road to get the jeep to return to Sapa. Tour finish in Sapa by 3PM. Free time to relax and Overnight in Sapa.

8:30 AM The tour guide picks you from the hotel and takes you on to walk to the Moana. A check-in area with man-made structures but arranged in harmony with nature to create a unique, strange, and beautiful landscape. The check-in area is only 500m from the Stone Church, with the view embracing the Hoang Lien Son range and the majestic Fansipan peak. This place consists of seven categories, attracting young people by many unique miniatures. They are a Bali heaven gate, Moana girl statue, infinity lake, golden hand, death swing, a lonely tree, and coffee area.

Then at about 10:30, transfer to Fansipan Cable Car station to begin the journey conquering Fansipan by modern cable car system. The cable car system in Sapa is the world’s longest and highest cable car, running up from sleepy Sapa Town in Lao Cai Province to the peak of 3,143-meter. Fansipan Mountain, known as Indochina’s rooftop. Reaching Mount Fansipan used to mean a full-day hike at least. But from Feb 2016 the trek up will be reduced to a 25-minute flight by cable car. The 6.5km long cable car can carry a maximum of 2,000 passengers an hour, with each cabin accommodating 35 passengers.

While traveling by cable car, you can enjoy the scenery and magnificent views to Sapa and swallow views of Muong Hoa valley, Hoang Lien National Forest as well as beautiful landscapes of Lai Chau province. After conquering the Fanipan Peak, you will also take able car to get back the foot of mountain. Then you will be transferred back to Sapa.

9h30 driver take you to Cat Cat gate and A short trek to the gate of Cat Cat village which is home of Black H'mong ethnic people and is located near the bottom of a deep valley at the foot of Fansipan Peak. Our local guide will show you the daily life activities of the locals, trek down to the valley bottom to the waterfall where the French built a Hydraulic Power Station; stop for photo with bridge and waterfall then you will walk uphill for bus to pick up to get back to Sapa at noon.

Have lunch in sapa center and free time to to enjoy coffee or shoppin before transfer back to Hanoi.

14h00 -14h30. Limosine transfer you back to Hanoi. Drop off your hotel or Noi Bài Airport
