Discover the Desert : 8 Days Tour

After breakfast, departure via the Roman Pavement. Road to Tataouine. Town tour. Continue to Ksar Ouled Soltane and visit. Departure for Chenini, small village encrusted in the mountain, famous for its ksours and its houses dug in the walls of the mountains and visit (approximately 40min with feet). Lunch in a typical restaurant. After the meal, hike with a local guide between the village of Chenini and the village of Douiret. Head to Ksar Jouamaa where you will spend the night (about 2 hours). Arrival to Ksar Jouamaa and free time to walk in the berber Ksar. Dinner and overnight in a berber cottage

After breakfast, departure to Ksar Ghilane, a small exotic oasis in the Sahara, famous for its pools of thermal water, where you can swim. Enjoy your free time to swim in the hot spring. Possibility of a trip in quad (extra) or to camel ride on the dunes to visit the old fort in the desert. 

Lunch and departure to the camp where we spend the night (about 20km). Arrival and free time to enjoy the sunset. 

Dinner and Saharan vigil Night in Berber tent. 

Wake up gently and enjoy you breakfast in front of the big sand dunes...Then, head for Tozeur through the city of Douz. Lunch and continuation. 

Cross the Chott El Djerid, lake of antiquity and sea of chimeras ,where, according to the legend, whole armies disappeared forever. 

Arrival and Installation at the hotel. 

In the afternoon visit of the ancient city of Tozeur (Medina) and possibility of a bike ride in the wonderful palm grove of Tozeur (Extra) or visit the magnificent museum of traditional art Dar Chéraït (Extra). 

Dinner and overnight at the hotel. 

After breakfast, departure to visit the superb oasis of mountains. Chebika, a suspended paradise, which became, for years, the favorite place of the greatest filmmakers (known especially for its Berber village and its  water spray that spring from the side of the mountain).

After a stroll of 1 hour, continue to Tamerza (famous for its waterfall) then to Midès known (for its Canyons). Around midday, enjoy a local lunch at a homestay.

In the afternoon, fasten your seat belts as we  leave civilization behind and go on an adventure in the dunes of Ong Djemel through the old Ralley track  to discover the scenery of Star Wars and the village of Mose Espa. 

En route to our hotel, we will stop at the basket of Nefta to take some photos and taste a tunisian tea. 

Dinner and overnight at the hotel. 

After breakfast, departure to Douz and free time to visit its local market.

Lunch in a typical restaurant then, departure to Matmata, the troglodyte village. 

Our first stop will be in the Berber village of Tamazret. Coffee break and free time to walk in the village. Continue to Matmata and visit homestay where we will be welcomed by a good Rosemary tea, bread prepared by your host, accompanied by olive oil and of honey. 

Continue to Sidi Idriss, a troglodyte hotel built according to the local underground architecture that was chosen by George Lucas to shoot some of Star Wars. Dinner and overnight in Matmata

After Breakfast, head to the Berber village of Toujane, a wonderful village hidden between two mountains ... Photo break and continuation to Djerba Arrival and lunch. Visit Guellela pottery village and opportunity to do business in the shops before leaving the next day. Continue to the "Ghariba", the most ancient synagogue in northern Africa, then, stroll in the alleys of Djerba Hood and free time to admire the street-Arts. 

Departure to Houmt souk and free time in the souk. 

Free day to enjoy the beach, the pool and the hotel. Transfer to the airport according to flight time.
