Danum Valley Conservation Area is recognized as one of the world’s most complex ecosystem, this forest serves as a natural home for endangered wildlife species such as Asian elephant, clouded leopard, orang utan, as well as a vast range of Sabah’s lowland fauna.

День 1

Lahad Datu – Danum Valley Borneo Rainforest Lodge (92 km) [L/D]

Meet and greet at Lahad Datu Airport. After registration, depart for scenic drive to Menara Kayangan, located on Mount Silam and offering panoramic views of Darvel Bay. Continue to Tumunong Hallu Jetty for boat ride to Blue Rings Reef, the only known double Blue Hole in Malaysia. *Snorkel among vibrant coral gardens with marine life (refer remarks).

Enjoy seaside lunch and some leisure time by the beach. Afterward, journey inland to Danum Valley Danum Valley Conservation Area. Settle in and begin your rainforest experience with a guided activity in the dark, either on a Night Walk or Night Drive.

Remark: Snorkeling at Blue Rings Reef: Blue Rings Reef is an open water environment. To ensure your safety, a valid Open Water Diving License is required. All participants will receive a comprehensive safety briefing before entering the water. Snorkeling activity is restricted to adults only- 12years and above.

День 2

Danum Valley Borneo Rainforest Lodge [B/L/D]

Wake up to the calls of the Bornean Gibbons and enjoy the morning jungle trek to the Kadazan-Dusun burial site known as the “Coffin Cliffs and the “View Point” for a bird’s eye view of the area. Soak in the “Jacuzzi Pool” at the pristine rainforest stream.

In the afternoon, either choose a guided trek to the treetop “Canopy Walkway” 360m in length and 27m at the highest point for a close-up observation of the rainforest, go for a relaxing session of ‘tubing’ down the Danum River, Or participate in indoor cultural experiences. Enjoy a Night Walk or Night Drive in search of nocturnal animals after dinner.

День 3

Danum Valley Borneo Rainforest Lodge – Lahad Datu [B/L]

*Optional activity: An early morning walk and return to the Lodge for lunch before checking-out and transfer arrangement to Lahad Datu Airport for your onward flights.

Cancelations made 60 days or less prior to arrival: subject to cancellation fee (by the hotel)

Cancellations made 30 days or less prior to arrival: subject to 50% cancellation fees.

Cancellations made 21 days or less prior to arrival: subject to 75% cancellation fees.

Cancellations made 14 days or less prior to arrival: subject to 100% cancellation charge.

No Show/ Shorten Stay: subject to 100% cancellation charges.

Do note that Cancellation fees are levied by Asian Overland Services in cases where charges arise from outside contractors or where actions taken extend beyond reservation for tours and hotel accommodation. Charges are levied at the sole discretion of Asian Overland Services for operation planning, consulting and ancillary expenses relating to development of services of a specialized nature.

General PAYMENT Term

Non-refundable deposits may be required for certain product (program involving Selingan Island and Mountain Climbing), or if travel during high season. A deadline to make deposit payment will be advice upon booking confirmation.

Full Payment is required to be made for all services at least 30 days before travel period, or by the given dateline.
