Catch the public train back to Interlaken and spend the rest of the afternoon exploring the renowned adventure capital of Europe! Shop for souvenirs or take a funicular ride up to Interlaken’s local mountain, Harder Kulm for more amazing views over the two lakes and the surrounding peaks (summer only).

Here, you'll board your train for a scenic journey to lucerne. Sit back and relax as you travel to lucerne central train station "Luzern" , the central rail hub in the heart of the city. Upon arrival in lucerne , your hotel will also be within a short walking distance from the station, making your transfer smooth and convenient. From Zurich, set off on a leisurely coach trip through delightful landscapes and along the shores of Lake Lucerne to the enchanting town of Lucerne. Let your guide show you the main attractions on a brief orientation drive past the Chapel Bridge, the Town Hall, the Jesuit Church and the Culture and Convention Centre (KKL). Enjoy time at leisure to grab a snack, to do some souvenir shopping or to stroll through the medieval streets of the well-preserved Old Town.

From Lucerne, drive to Kriens, where you board the panoramic gondolas to Fräkmüntegg. Change for the Dragon Ride aerial cableway and enjoy jaw dropping views out of the panoramic windows, specially designed to give the feeling of flying. Once at the top of Mt Pilatus (2,132 m a.s.l), immerse yourself in the interactive Dragon World experience, venture down the Dragon Trail or opt for a short hike to the summit (weather permitting). Relax on the panorama terrace and admire magnificent views over the surrounding peaks of the Swiss Alps and the blue lakes in the valleys below. 

Treat yourself to a typical Swiss lunch at one of the different restaurants. The highlight of the day is a thrilling descent on the world's steepest cogwheel railway (48% gradient) down to Alpnachstad. Board a public boat for a lovely 1-hour cruise on beautiful Lake Lucerne and admire the spectacular landscape from an entirely different angle. End the excursion at the port in Lucerne or enjoy a relaxing coach ride back to Zurich.

Enjoy time at leisure for lunch and some souvenir shopping before continuing through fascinating rural landscape past the impressively vast roofs of the Emmental farmhouses. 

Stop at the Emmentaler show dairy for the highlight of the day! Tour the show dairy on the audio-visual King's Way and learn more about the history of the world's most famous cheese. Marvel at the gigantic wheels of cheese in the impressive cellar before indulging your senses during a cheese tasting. Continue to a nearby dairy farm for a picture stop to see the grazing cows and enjoy an amazing view over the gentle green hills of the Emmental to the triple peaks of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau on a clear day. Drive back with many great memories and a goodie bag full of Swiss delicacies collected at the visited attractions throughout the day.

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and proceed to Lucerne Central Train Station. From there, take the train to Zurich, where a private car will meet you at the station and transfer you to Zurich International Airport for your departure.
