[Icefield Parkway]

One of Canada's national treasures and most rewarding destinations. Stretching 232km (144mi) through the heart of Canadian Rocky Mountain Parks World Heritage Site, this world-class journey offers access to a vast wilderness of pristine mountain lakes, ancient glaciers and broad sweeping valleys. (pass through)

[Bow Lake]

It is the headwaters of the Bow River that runs south through the city Calgary and onto the Oldman River ultimately to Hudson Bay. (stop for about 20 minutes)

[Columbia Icefield]

Columbia Icefield Adventure (Icefield Explorer and Skywalk - Optional): Visit the Canadian Rockies and tour over the Athabasca Glacier in a giant Ice Explorer. A once in a lifetime experience. Next, enjoy a breathtaking view of the glacier from The Glacier Skywalk. (stop for about 3.5 hours)

[Athabasca Falls]

It is not one of the highest waterfalls, but is rather known for the shear amount and force of the water that flows through it from the Columbia Glacier. (stop about 30 minutes)

[Jasper Town]

It is the heart of Jasper National Park. 2nd biggest town in the Canadian Rockies. (stop time – your own arrangement)

День 3

Jasper — Maligne Lake — Maligne Canyon — The Crossing — Peyto Lake — Crowfoot Glacier

Meal

★Breakfast: Included (Hotel Breakfast)/ ★Lunch: Own Arrangement (Group Meal Option Available)/ ★Dinner: Own Arrangement

Itinerary

Today, continue your journey in the Jasper National Park.

[Maligne Lake (Optional-Lake Cruise)]

It is the largest natural lake in the Canadian Rockies. You can take an optional cruise to enjoy the scenery of the lake. (stop for about 100 minutes)

[Maligne Canyon]

It is carved into the Palliser Formation, a layer of limestone deposited in a shallow tropical sea by lime-secreting plankton about 365-million years ago. (stop for about 30 minutes)

[Medicine Lake]

During the summer, glacier melt waters flood the lake, sometimes overflowing it. In fall and winter the lake disappears, becoming a mudflat with scattered pools of water connected by a stream. Medicine Lake is one of the largest known sinking rivers in the Western Hemisphere and may be the largest inaccessible cave system anywhere in the world! (pass through)

[Peyto Lake]

It is a glacier-fed lake in Banff National Park in the Canadian Rockies. During the summer, significant amounts of glacial rock flour flow into the lake, and these suspended rock particles give the lake a bright, turquoise color. (stop for about 20 minutes) / (It will be replaced by Waterfowl Lake if it is closed)

[Crowfoot Glacier]

Named after its shape when was discovered. A must-see stop with the climate change nowadays. The “Third Toe” was melted and barely visible. (stop for about 15 minutes)

День 4

Lake Louise — Moraine Lake — Yoho — Spiral Tunnel — Emerald Lake — Natural Bridge

Meal

★Breakfast: Included (Hotel Breakfast)/ ★Lunch: Own Arrangement (Optional Group Meal Available - Deluxe Lunch at Chateau Lake Louise)/ ★Dinner: Own Arrangement

Itinerary

Today you will visit the Lake Louise and Yoho National Park.

[Lake Louise]

Nestled in the heart of the Canadian Rockies, Lake Louise captivates visitors with its striking turquoise color and majestic mountain backdrop. It’s the perfect spot for photography, leisurely walks, or a peaceful canoe ride. (stop for about 2 hours)

[Moraine Lake/Ten Peaks Valley]

Its waters are the most amazing color, a vivid shade of turquoise that changes in intensity through the summer as the glacier melt. Set in the rugged Valley of the Ten Peaks, Moraine Lake is surrounded by mountains, waterfalls, and rock piles, creating a scene so stunning it almost seems unreal. (stop for about 60 minutes)

[YOHO National Park]

Named for a Cree expression of awe and wonder, Yoho lies on the Western slopes of the Canadian Rocky Mountains.

[Spiral Tunnel]

It is one of the most bizarre feats of engineering to get the grade of a train line to be at or below 2.2%. The current two spiral tunnels where the railroad forms two spirals, crossing beneath itself twice, almost forming a figure eight, before continuing in the proper direction down the mountain were completed in 1909. (pass through)

[Emerald Lake]

Emerald Lake is a glacier-fed lake in Yoho National Park in the Canadian Rockies. Meltwater from surrounding glaciers carries fine rock particles, called glacial rock flour, into the lake. These suspended particles reflect and absorb sunlight in a way that gives the lake its distinctive greenish hue, highlighting the role of glacial activity in shaping the local landscape.(stop for about 20 minutes)

[Natural Bridge]

Sculpted by the erosive forces of rushing water over what had once been a waterfall, the Natural Bridge is a powerful reminder of how much influence water has in shaping the landscape. (stop for about 15 minutes)

Banff — Rocky Mountaineer — Kamloops

Meal

★Breakfast: Included (On the Train)/ ★Lunch: Included (On the Train)/ ★Dinner: Own Arrangement

Itinerary

Boarding the train to Kamloops, in the heart of British Columbia’s interior. Start the journey with a welcome-aboard breakfast on the train. The journey takes you through a spectacular array of scenery as you travel between the glacier and snow-capped peaks of the Canadian Rockies, over mountain passes and through remarkable tunnels, along rocky lakeshores and across the ranchlands of the interior.Today's highlights include the Continental Divide, the Spiral Tunnels, the Kicking Horse Canyon, Rogers Pass and Craigellachie - where the last spike of the Canadian Pacific Railway was driven.

Spiral Tunnel: An extraordinary engineering marvel that allows the train to safely ascend and descend steep grades by traveling in two large, 360-degree spiral loops inside the mountain.

Kicking Horse Canyon: A steep-walled, rugged canyon following the Kicking Horse River. The train crosses the river multiple times, showcasing dramatic gorges and whitewater rapids.

Rogers Pass: The historically treacherous mountain pass through Glacier National Park. Famous for its heavy snow and avalanche danger, which led the railway to build the Spiral Tunnels.

Kamloops: This major city in British Columbia's arid interior is situated at the confluence of the North and South Thompson Rivers. The region's unique dry, sunny, semi-desert climate and fertile soil created optimal growing conditions for cultivating North American Ginseng.

День 7

Kamloops — Vancouver

Meal

★Breakfast: Included (On the Train)/ ★Lunch: Included (On the Train)/ ★Dinner: Own Arrangement

Itinerary

Your journey continues west towards the Pacific Ocean and the coastal city of Vancouver. You will again see dramatic changes in scenery. From the desert-like environment of the Interior, through winding river canyons and pristine forests, to the Coast and Cascade Mountains, and the lush green fields of the Fraser Valley. Highlights included the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River and the rushing waters of Hell's Gate in the Fraser Canyon. Your rail journey ends on arrival in Vancouver this evening.

Thompson River Canyon: The journey begins by following the Thompson River through the B.C. Interior. The landscape here is often desert-like and arid, a stark contrast to the mountains, featuring steep, scrub-covered slopes and rock formations. This is a region famous for its ranchlands.

Hell's Gate: This is the highlight of the day. The train passes through the Fraser Canyon, reaching Hell's Gate, the narrowest and deepest point of the Fraser River. You will see the immense power of the whitewater rapids that are forced through this gorge.

Fraser Valley: After passing through the canyons, the landscape becomes much softer. The train descends into the lush, fertile green fields of the Fraser Valley, known for its agricultural land. This marks the transition back to the coastal environment as you near Vancouver.
