This luxury gorilla-tracking safari takes you to the wild jungles of Uganda for a chance to see the endangered mountain gorillas.
Flying from Entebbe over the stunning Ugandan countryside, you will go to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park where you will track gorillas through the dense rainforest. Upon meeting the gorillas, you will spend 1 hour with them.
As part of this 4-day gorilla trip, you will also get to engage with and learn about the local people who live so close to the gorillas.

Arrive at Entebbe International Airport and connect to your scheduled domestic flight to Kisoro Airstrip. Your driver/ guide will be waiting to welcome you at Kisoro Airstrip and take you on a scenic drive through the beautiful hills and local villages of Kigezi to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Today is the big day! Prepare yourself for an encounter with the gentle giants; the rare mountain gorillas.
For most people, this is the absolute highlight of their tour. You will go into the forest in groups of not more than 8 in search of mountain gorillas. En route, your guide will point out previous signs of gorilla activity such as dung, nests, and chewed bamboo shoots.
Your trek will be an exciting journey along forested slopes, entwined vines, bushes, and bamboo. Upon finding the gorillas, you will spend a maximum of 1 hour with them after which you will be led back to the starting point.

After breakfast, at your leisure, you will visit the Batwa and Bakiga communities for cultural and traditional experiences. Buy local crafts and experience traditional music and dance.

Early morning, after breakfast, your driver/guide will drive you to Kisoro Airstrip for your scheduled domestic flight to Entebbe Airport. At the airport, you will connect to your flight back home marking the end of your safari.

All information detailed in client itineraries is given to the best of Primate World Safaris’ knowledge and based on the latest information available. Primate World Safaris cannot be liable for modified information from third parties, nor for any obvious typing errors.
To reserve flights and gorilla permits we need: your full names as they appear in passport, your nationality and passport number.
Before confirming a safari, the client must inform Primate World Safaris of any preferences and special requests of the participants; e.g. medical needs, diet, requirements relating to disabilities and any other requirements. Primate World Safaris will meet the requests if possible.
All packages are subject to availability and not guaranteed until confirmed. Many lodges and hotels offered by Primate World Safaris have limited capacity and therefore it is essential to make reservations well in advance of your planned trip.
In the event that you wish to amend your reservation in any way, Primate World Safaris will make the preferred adjustment where practicable and possible and confirm accordingly. Primate World Safaris reserves the right to charge an amendment fee relative to the actual costs, which will be added to the total invoice.
Primate World Safaris reserves the right to change and re-adjust the tour schedule, transportation, accommodation and services indicated in the itinerary in the event of unforeseen circumstances before arrival. Any changes to the itinerary will be communicated to the client as soon as possible.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
All cancellation requests must be made in writing and shall be effective on the date of actual receipt by Primate World Safaris.
The following cancellation charges apply to the basic program rate:
60 days or more prior to arrival 10% charge
59 – 32 days prior to arrival 25% charge
31 – 8 days prior to arrival 30% charge
7 – 4 days prior to arrival 75% charge
3 Days or less prior to arrival 100% charge
Primate World Safaris reserves the right to deduct all expenses incurred from money paid.
Gorilla and chimp permits and air tickets are 100% non-refundable.
No refunds will be made for any unused services, late arrival or no-show of any of the members of the tour.
Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge. All rooms are self contained (with private bathrooms) with meals on full board.
