06:00: You will be picked up from your hotel and driven to Elephant Orphanage. Pinnawala Elephant orphanage is the place which bears the largest herd of captive elephants in the world. Known as the captive breeding place for wild Asian elephants, this orphanage provides the shelter to diseased, wounded and disabled elephants since 1975. There are more than 80 elephants have gained their birth at Pinnawala elephant orphanage up to date.
09:15: Witness Elephant Feeding. This will be an interesting activity as you will also get a chance to feed one of the baby elephants.
10:00: You can witness baby elephants & also adult elephants moving around freely without harming to anyone and heading to the nearby river for bathing.
10:30: Witness Elephant bathing and take some wonderful photographs.
11:00: Leave Elephant Orphanage and proceed to Kandy.
12:00: Enjoy Lunch at Oakray Restaurant.
13:30: After Lunch, you will enjoy the visit to Gem Lapidary and wood carving center followed by a guided city tour in Kandy. Kandy is one of the most sacred sites as it is the home of the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha. During this city tour, you will visit Kandy Temple and then enjoy a cultural show in one of the theaters available in Kandy city.
