Upon your arrival in the International airport at Kathmandu, after completing your custom formalities (Visa, etc), pick up your luggage and look for our representative with an Accessible Adventure Travels & Tours Trekking display board at the arrival gate. You will be transferred to a hotel of your choice. After check in, you can take rest, hang around in the city, or go for a stroll to get familiar with your surroundings; it all depends upon your interests and condition. In the evening we will organize a "Welcome Dinner" at an excellent traditional Nepalese Restaurant where you will enjoy a Nepalese cultural program as well as a fine meal. Your first overnight in the ancient city of temples & cows, probably the most in the world.
Pikey Peak Trek

Pikey peak trek is a newly discovered trek and has gained more popularity within the trekker's community. Now it is also considered as one of the best short treks. This region is totally raw and fascinating. Unlike in the regular trail which is heavily commercialized this section of the trek gives you an authentic Nepalese lifestyle. You get to see local farming and their vegetation, and kids in the school, and usual greetings by Namaste to visitors. Another attraction is the Pikey peak (4070 m). From Pikey peak, you will get fantastic views of Everest, Makalu, Kanchenjunga, Ama Dablam, Lhotse, Nuptse, Numbur, Gaurisankhar, Langtang to the far west can be seen. It also offers the best sunrise and sunset views over the Himalayas. You also pass through beautiful Sherpa settlements with a visit to the 19th-century Buddhist Monastery of Thupten Chholing. During the trek, you will experience traditional livings of different ethnic groups like Sherpa, Chhetri, Tamang and Gurung. You can taste verities of local cuisines and observe some rare plants and animals.

Arrival at Kathmandu airport and transfer to hotel

Drive from Kathmandu to Dhap – 7 hour drive
Drive to Dhap. Leave Kathmandu at 8 am. The first part of the overland journey on Sindhuli High way to Okhaldungha drives along the Sun Koshi river. You stop for lunch at Ghurmi. The road diverts to the uphill and winding road that heads north through subtropical forests of pine and dense forest. You pass through several villages. There are beautiful landscapes and valleys as you travel to Dhap. It is a small bazaar with several shops. You can see awesome views of Numbur Chuli from Dhap. Stay overnight at Dhap.
Trek from Dhap to Jhapre (2815m) – 5-hour walk
Walk the un-gravel road to Sigane that is still under construction until you reach Jhapre. It is a small village perched above a deep valley. There you can get a nice view of Mt. Everest and other Himalayan peaks. There are some Buddhist monasteries and stupa. There is some good viewpoint north of the village. There are some teahouses, cafes, and shops.
Trek from Jhapre to Pikey Base Camp (3585m) – 7-hour walk
Start your day early. You get to see beautiful views of Numbur Chuli, Everest, and the eastern Himalayan range. The trail starts on a dirt road for a while and then quickly turns into a gentle uphill climb through pine and rhododendron forests to Bhulbule. Take a small break there and continue to climb the gentle uphill trail. You reach Lhamuje for lunch. The trail is full of different species of rhododendron flowers. In spring you see spectacular and colourful rhododendron in full bloom. The wonderful view of the Himalayan range makes an awesome experience. The trail then begins to climb up and down the ridge. It is a gentle hill walk. You reach eventually reach a yak pasture. If you have never seen yak you get to see here. Walkthrough mani walls and then again climb a steep hill that makes a zigzag trail to the base camp of Pikey Peak. There you can visit the local yak cheese factory. Stay overnight at the base camp of Pikey.
Trek Pikey Base Camp to Junbesi (2680m)- 7-hour walk
After breakfast climb, the steep hill to the summit of Pikey (Peak 4650m) – It is about an hour walk. On a clear day, you get to see a spectacular view of the entire Himalayan range from east to west. Mt. Everest, Thamserku, Khangtega, Khatang, Karyoling to the north, Kanchenjunga to the east, and Manaslu, Dhaulagiri, Gaurishankar, Dorje Lakpa, and Langtang to the west are clearly visible. After an hour at the summit, you descend to Jasmane Bhanjyang (3540m). After an hour descent, you enter into rhododendron and pine forest that stretches all the way to the Bhanjyang. You follow the trail on the ridge to Kande (3736m). There are several up and down alk you have to cover until you reach Lamjura (3530m) for lunch. After lunch, you make a long descent to the valley. The trail continues through thick fir and rhododendron forests to Taktor. The trail then becomes gentle. Walk to Junbesi. There are several mani walls and stone chortens along the path. It is possible to visit an old monastery and also take a view of the Numbur Chuli peak that looms high above the village. Junbesi is a picturesque and beautiful village. Stay overnight at Junebesi.
Visit Thupten Choling Monastery (2920m). In Junbesi - 4-hour walk
After breakfast visit Thupten Chholing monastery. The walk to the 19th-century Buddhist monastery takes about 3-hour to go there and return back. You follow a trail along Junbesi Khola (river) and climb a gradual uphill walk to Thupten Chholing Monastery. It is one of the most important monasteries in Nepal. There you get a chance to meet local nuns and monks. You may meditate or visit the village before you return back to Junbesi. Stay overnight at Junbesi.
Trek from Junbesi to Takasindu (2931m) – 6-hour walk
Cross the river and trek to Takasindu. Instead of going down south to Phaplu, you head east to Taksindhu. After you cross the river take a left turn toward Salung. From the Salud danda (ridge) you get a great view of Mt. Everest, Thamserku, and Kusum Kangaru. Descend to Ringmo Khola and make the gradual climb to Takasindu Pass (2960m). Just before the pass, there is a monastery that has a vantage point. It offers outstanding sunset views. The next day you can also see the sunrise view. Overnight in Taksindu.
Trek Taksindu to Phaplu (2400m) – 6-hour walk
On the last day, we travel to Phaplu to take transport back to Kathmandu. Phaplu is another important village in this area. It has shops, cafés, restaurants, and lodges. It is an important hub for logistics reasons for the trek to Everest. There is an airstrip for STOL aircraft to land.
Drive Phaplu to Kathmandu – 7-hour drive
Drive to Kathmandu. You take the same mountain highway that leads you to Okhaldhunga. It is a long drive with some brakes en-route. The mountain road joins the main BP highway. Arrive at Kathmandu at 5 pm.
Departure
The day fifteen marks the end of your entire adventure. We hope you are happy and fully satisfied with our services and expertise. Either you may choose the next package and initiate a new escapade or you can fly back home. We’ll drop you at the Kathmandu Airport; three hours prior to flight time so that, you don’t have to confront any troubles during your final moments in Nepal. Breakfast, Included

In the event of trip cancellation, you must notify in written to Accessible Adventure; and the following cancelation policies will apply:
56 days prior to departure - 80% refund.
42 - 55 days prior to departure - 70% refund.
29 - 41 days prior to departure - 50% refund.
01 - 28 days before departure- no refund.
INCOMPLETION OF YOUR HOLIDAY
No refund will be made who leave out from the tour regardless of whatever portions remain unused in the program.
UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES
-Accessible Adventure reserves the right to cancel or refuse your booking due to unforeseen circumstances like war, natural disasters, conflict, unfavorable climate etc.. In this event, Accessible Adventure may offer you an alternative trip of a similar standard. In case, the alternative tour doesn?t meet to your interest, Accessible Adventure will refund all monies paid by you.
-Accessible Adventure will not take responsible for any delay or cancellation of flights due to bad weather conditions, road blockage, landslides, strike. Any expesnes incurred during this period will be your responsible.
PARTICIPANTS RESPONSIBILITIES
-It is your responsibility and ensure yourself that you have a valid passport at least 6 months, and all necessary visas, permits or travel insurance for your selected holiday. Accessible Adventure will not be responsible for any problems, delays or denied entry in the event you are not having of valid travel documents.
-It is your responsibiltiy to follow the laws and regulations of the counties visited. In case of voilation of laws and regulation; you are oblised to leave out the tour anytime without any claims or complaints against Accessible Adventure. In such a case, Accessible Adventrue will not be responsible for any refund, compensatoin or addtional expenses incurred by you.
-It is your responsibility to look after your belongings yourself. Accessible Adventure will not take responsible for any loss, theft or damage to any of your belongings.
