Arrival in El Calafate airport. Bus or shuttle too El Chalten, depending on arrival times, and check in. Free afternoon to do self guided hikes
Note: if flight is arriving later than 5 pm, there might not be regular service from El Calafate airport to El Charlten. Try to arrive earlier or if not you ask for a private transfer or to sleep the 1st night in El Calafate and take the 8 am bus to El Chalten.

Free day to do self guided hikes. You may want to try Laguna de los Tres, about 8-9 hours to go and return. Take food along but you can drink water from the streams.

Check out, walk to the bus station to take the bus at 8 am or at 6 pm to El Calafate. End of services.
