Annapurna Base Camp Trek is often regarded as one of the best trek in the world as Annapurna Base Camp offers the insight into mountain life, Culture and tradition in addition to the majestic view of the Himalayas. Annapurna Base Camp Trek starts after 30 minutes flight or 7 hours of drive into Pokhara and another half an hour drive to Phedi and takes you to the base camp of the 10th highest peak in the world, Mt. Annapurna. Annapurna Base Camp Trek goes through the villages of Tamang, Thakali, Magar and Gurung People who have unique lifestyle and have a very good sense of Hospitality. The hike takes you into dense forest of Pine and rhododendrons with view of majestic peaks in the background. Anyone with a good physical condition can do this trek. Annapurna Base Camp Trek is an opportunity to explore the mountains, hills, culture and tradition of western Nepal.

Kathmandu Arrival(1,300m/4,264 ft)

Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing(4 - 6hr)
After a hearty breakfast, at around 9.30 am your sightseeing trip will start. You will have a private vehicle . Today we will visit some heritages listed below:
Pashupatinath Temple: Pashupatinath Temple is one of the most significant Hindu temples of Lord Shiva in the world, located on the banks of the Bagmati River. Though you are not allowed to go inside the temple as it is strictly for Hindus only, you can clearly see the temple and the activities from the eastern bank of the Bagmati River. It is a square two-tiered pagoda temple built on a single-tier plinth which is famous all over the world.
Boudhanath Stupa:
Boudhananath is one of the holiest Buddhist sites in Kathmandu. It was built in the 5th century with four pairs of eyes of Lord Buddha in four cardinal directions keeping an eternal watch over the people and their doings. You will find Buddhist pilgrims from Tibet going round the stupa spinning the prayer wheels.

Drive to Pokhara (823m/2,700ft), 7-9 hrs drive
Our trekking staff will pick you up from the hotel at 6:30 am and escort you to the tourist bus station. The bus to Pokhara leaves at around 7:30 am. It is smaller and much less hectic than Kathmandu, hence providing the perfect starting point for our trek.

Drive to Nayapul and Trek to Tikhedhungga(1,577m/5,173 ft), 1 hr drive and 4 - 5 hrs walk
We begin our trek at Nayapul after an hours drive on a private vehicle from Pokhara. After a short 15-minute walk along the banks of the Modi Khola, we reach Birethanti (1,015 m), a large village with many shops and teahouses. From there, the trail continues through the village and follows the north bank of the Bhurungdi Khola. The trail climbs steadily up the side of the valley to Hille at 1,495 m. After a short climb, we reach Tikhedhunga at 1,570 m. Today’s walk is relatively short and easy, a prelude to the trekking experience in the Annapurna region.

Trek to Ghorepani(2,850m/9,350ft). 4 - 6 hrs walk
We move on towards the steep climb to Ulleri, a large Magar village at an altitude of 2,070 m. The trail ascends more gently from this point, through fine forests of oak and rhododendrons, towards Banthanti at 2,250 m. Then we trek towards Nangethanti at 2,460 m. After an hour walk we arrive at Ghorepani (2,840 m).

Tadapani (2540m/8332ft), 5 - 7 hrs walk
early in the morning, we start an hour hike to Poon Hill at an elevation of 3,210 m, a brilliant mountain range spectacle; this vantage point provides an unobstructed view of the sunrise over the high Himalayas. There we spend about 1 hour and returning to Ghorepani, we take a hot breakfast. Then we make a climb along ridges, and through pine and rhododendron forests, towards Deurali (2,960 m). After that, we descend to the Banthanti, then turn off to Tadapani.

Trek to Chomrung (2,210m/7,249 ft) to Sinuwa, 5 - 7 hrs walk
The day starts with a steep downhill through rhododendron forests. Leaving Tadapani, we descend through the forests and then the trail eases as we reach Gurjung which is the village of Gurung people. From here it is an easy walk to Chomrong at an elevation of 2,140 m.

Trek from Sinuwa (2340m) to Himalaya (2,890m) Deurali ( 3,174m)
Today's trek will differ slightly based on where we stayed last night. If we stayed at Chomrong, then we hike to Himalaya through Sinuwa. Else, we will start the trek from Sinuwa and reach Deurali.
So you may leave Chomrong and pass through the lush forest on a path paved with stones until we cross Chomrong Khola. Then the path ascends, passing through deep bamboo and rhododendron forest until we reach Himalaya. If we trekked from Chomrong, we stop at Himalaya for the night or else at Deurali.

Trek from Himalaya (2,890m) / Deurali (3174m) to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m/13,550ft) via Machhapuchchhre Base Camp (3720m)
If in Himalaya, we leave Himalaya and follow a route that passes through the Modi Khola glacier valley past the Machhapuchhre Base Camp, which ultimately takes us to the Annapurna Base Camp. Otherwise, the trek will start from Deurali. Machhapuchhre Base Camp offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, but we will continue trekking north until we reach Annapurna Base Camp.
Throughout the journey, we will be walking close to the Annapurna glaciers. From Annapurna Base Camp, we get a 360-degree view from Hiunchuli, Annapurna ranges - including Annapurna I (8,097m/26,566ft), Khangsar Kang, Gangapurna, Annapurna III, and Machhapuchhare

Trek from Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m / 13,550ft) to Bamboo (2,350m / 7,700ft)
After enjoying breakfast along with the views of beautiful sunrise over the Himalayas, we start our trek that will eventually take us out of Annapurna Sanctuary. However, we first retrace our steps out of Modi River Valley to reach Bamboo village - the destination for the day.

Trek from Bamboo (2,350m / 7,700ft) to Jhinu Danda (1,780m / 6,393ft) and nearby natural hot springs
Our trek continues, we head down to Kimrong Khola, and from there, the path ascends and passes through the serene rhododendron, bamboo, and oak forests, ultimately leading to Chomrong village. However, we continue until we reach a small peaceful settlement called Jhinu Danda. This village has nearby riverside hot springs, where we soothe our tired muscles. We will be staying at Jhinu Danda for the night.

Trek to Nayapul and Drive to Pokhara(823m/2,700ft), 5-6 hrs walk & 1 hr drive
This will be a long day walk follows the river Modi most of the way reaching at Landruk village from here the route follow the down hill path leading back to Syauli Bazaar. The walk is pleasant most of the way following the Modi River until Birethanthi and an easy trek to Nayapul. Our adventure ends here and we drive back to Pokhara for the overnight.
Drive back to Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264 ft), 7 - 9 hrs drive
Early morning drive by tourist bus to Pokhara through the beautiful Nepalese countryside to reach the Kathmandu. On arrival at Kathmandu guide will transfer to the hotel and rest of the time relax or explore the surrounding areas and overnight at hotel.

Our airport representative will drop you 3 hour earlier at the international airport in Kathmandu for your flight departure from Nepal.

Payment of the Balance
Rest amount can be paid before a month of your arrival. If you choose to settle your holiday balance by credit card a handling charge of 4% on the outstanding balance is made. There is no handling charge for payment by bank transfer.
Last Minute Booking
We accept your last minute booking for ONLY IN CASES OF NEPAL TRIPS, but LAST MINUTE BOOKING WILL NOT BE ACCEPTABLE FOR BHUTAN AND TIBET TRIPS).
Refund Policy
No refund will be made for 30% deposit amount in case of cancellation of trip for any other else reason but we are flexible to postpone your trip in any later days. Having paid full amount of any trip, you will get your money back but still cancellation charge (20%) is invoiced to you. Written notification of your cancellation should be made to cancel any trip.
Supplement Charge
On our holidays tour / trek packages, rooms or tents are provided in twin sharing basis. Thus, single room supplement charge will be imposed to client who does not have another tour participant to share room /tent with.
Incomplete Tour
No refund will be made to clients who drop out from the journey regardless of whatever portions remain unused in the itinerary.
Unforeseen Circumstances
If Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure Private Limited cancels your trip because of unforeseen circumstances like war, natural disasters, conflict, unfavorable climate etc., we will be happy to refer you alternative trip of a similar standard. Even if this doesn’t fit your personal interest, all money paid by you to our company will be refunded. But remember, any other expenses incurred by you as a result of this booking are entirely your responsibility.
Clients’ Responsible
A tour / trek guide who represents Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure Private Limited deserves all authority during your tours/Treks.
Travel Insurance
You must purchase comprehensive travel insurance package against medical, natural calamity, helicopter evacuation, personal accident, trip cancellation etc. This is strongly suggested to all our clients.
Tour Amendment
To make alterations of any trek / tour itinerary, prior notice is requested. You’re advised to stay in touch with us. But occasionally, you may be obliged to do so en route under certain circumstance for instance bad weather etc.
Papers & Documents
All necessary documents should be presented in sequence for example to issue visa, necessary permits etc. We’re not accountable in case of any trip formality not completed in time before the trip departs on the absent of essential papers and documents.
Flight Delay/Cancellation
There is virtually possibility of flight delay or postponement for notorious weather in Himalayan regions which could be happened, in particular, in Everest region (Lukla), Jomsom, Dolpa, Simikot and Jumla region etc. In such case your itinerary will be modified.
HSA mission is to finance its community enhancement programs through the revenues generated by tourism. The proceeds from any HSJ organized tour and trek goes 10% directly to uplift educational status of needy children of rural areas of Nepal through Himalayan Community Project.

Our Liability
Our obligations and those of our suppliers providing any service or facility involved in any part of your travel are to take reasonable skill and care to arrange for the provision of such services and facilities and, where we or our supplier is actually providing the service or facility, to provide them with reasonable skill and care. Compliance with any applicable regulatory requirements (such as, for example, those of the Civil Aviation Authority) will be proper performance of our, and our suppliers’, obligations. You must show that reasonable skill and care has not been used, if you wish to make any claim against us.
Termination of your booking
We reserve the right in our absolute discretion to terminate your travel without notice ,If your behavior be such that it is likely in our opinion, to cause distress, damage, annoyance or danger to any other person. In such circumstances, no refund or compensation will be due to you.
Unused Services
No refund will be due to you in respect to the non-utilization of any part of the travel arrangements made for you, by Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure Private Ltd.
Travel Insurance
It is a condition of the agreement between us that you take out adequate vacation and travel insurance against cancelation charges, unexpected curtailment of your vacation, medical expenses arising overseas including repatriation, loss or damage to luggage and personal liability claims against you.Fail to secure such travel insurance coverage prior to your Nepal Travel, then you accept full responsibility for yourself and all of the members of your party, and indemnify Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure Private Ltd and our overseas travel agents and representatives (as applicable) for any and all costs that may arise, which would otherwise have been met, had such travel insurance been in force.

We do our best to ensure that your travel arrangements go according to plan. However, if you have a complaint arising out of what we have agreed to provide for you, please let us know at the earliest possible opportunity. If your complaint cannot be resolved locally, you should advise us within 30 days of the incident, in writing, by giving your detailed description of your complaint and other relevant information.
Please Note : If you do not follow our complaint procedure, we cannot accept responsibility for your complaint, as we would have been deprived of the opportunity to investigate the matter on your behalf, and where possible, help you to resolve the problem.
Applicable Law
Any contract or dispute between us are to be governed by and construed in accordance with Nepal law. Both parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Kathmandu City, Nepal.
Effective Date
The effective date of this policy From January 1. 2018 and it replaces all prior privacy policies issued by Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure Private Ltd . We reserve the right to change our policy at any time.

Depending on the season, you need different equipment and clothing for the Annapurna Base Camp trek. However, here is a necessities list we prepared for your comfort. Please only bring the essentials.
We provide one porter for every two trekkers, and the luggage weight limit per trekker is 9 kg. We recommend you partner with a fellow traveler and pack your things in a duffle bag. Moreover, we expect you to bring with you a regular backpack for your valuables and essential documents.
