Albania 6 Day Hike Tour

• Welcome in Albania! Today you will arrive in Tirana’s airport. Your tour leader will be waiting for you at the entrance of the airport building, holding a board with the company logo “ALBANIA INBOUND”. 

• You will meet the tour guide that will guide you through your adventure and you will be swiftly transfer to Shkodra, Albania’s Northern capital. 

• Be greeted with a welcoming dinner in a local restaurant and enjoy delicious traditional food. 

• Take free time in the evening to wander around the boulevard of Shkodra and to prepare for the hiking days ahead. 

• After a big breakfast, start your journey towards the Albanian Alps. During the road, you will have a few stops in locations with excellent panoramic views. (Boge & Qafe Thore)

• Descend to Theth village, Explore the Church of Theth and experience the captivating Reconciliation Tower. Learn about the intriguing history of the north Albania KANUNI. 

• Embark on a short hike (30 min) to find the beautiful Grunas waterfall, hidden in the mountains that surround the village.

• Drive towards Nderlysaj region, where you will take lunch by the Black river coming from the Blue Eye of Theth. 

• Follow the river and take a 45-minute hike through the jungle to reach the Blue Eye of Theth.

• Enjoy your time by the river in the forest.

• Return to your guesthouse accommodation in Theth.

• Today you will embark on the longest and most beautiful hike of the trip, the famous Valbona pass. This is the only route connecting Theth and Valbona, and it is accessible exclusively by hiking through the mountains.

• You will be transported to the trailhead, where your hike will begin. Embark on an 8-hour hike through Accursed mountains and experience the most breathtaking views in Albania. 

• You will reach Valbone village, where your guesthouse is located. Enjoy traditional North Albanian dinner while you relax by the peaceful village. 

• Today you will wake up with the beautiful views and the fresh air of the mountains. 

• Explore the village and enjoy the wonderful views of the surrounding mountains.

• Embark on a 4-hour round trip hike to Ramas’s ban and enjoy free time in Valbona National Park. Picnic lunch is an option. 

• Return to the guesthouse and enjoy a free afternoon.

• Drive towards Fierza port and embark on a 90-minute breathtaking boat tour through the Albanian Fjords via Shala River.

• In the end of Shala River, you will reach a region called Zgiboze. Zgiboza is one of the most remote regions in Albania found in the middle of the Albanian Alps and accessible only with boat.

• Explore the wild nature by following several trails. Enjoy free time in the afternoon. 

• This is the final day of your adventure. Today you will take a second boat to reach Komani port. Enjoy the beautiful ride. 

• At the port you will hop on the transportation and drive towards Tirana. 

• Midway you will stop at Fishte village, where the most famous agrotourism restaurant in Albania is located. Enjoy one last traditional lunch with fresh hand-picked vegetables from the farm. 

• Return to Tirana / Airport.
